  • Learning how to catch trout using micro beads is actually very easy. Trout fishing with micro beads is an incredibly effective way to fish. These little microbeads mimic a natural egg floating down the river from any species of fish that may be spawning in the particular creek or river your fishing in. In this video Jordan from Addicted Fishing is going to cover everything from how to actually rig micro beads on both a spin fishing setup and fly fishing setup, as well as actually teaching you how to catch trout using this trout fishing bead rig. Thanks so much for watching everyone, if you want to see more trout fishing videos, please hit hat thumbs up button!! We appreciate each and every one of you!

Nice rig, I’ll have to try it out. It’s a bit heavy gear wise for little creek trout. I use a similar set up with a lot of success, but I use 4lb mono, real eggs and skip the bobber. Adjust weight so you just barely tick bottom through your drift. Basically your fly set up but with an ultralight spinning rod. I like the bobber option though, seems I could use heavier weight and adjust depth with the bobber easier and also have a better strike indicator instead of trying to hook the odd rock, lol.

I like your tutorial thanks for sharing, similar to how I ‘bounce a stream’ with garden worms. I don’t understand how the bead that sits inches away from the hook actually works, how the hook hits it mark in the fishes mouth.. I would’ve thought the beads should sit right on top of the hook..?

wedging a rectangular toothpick into any bead size (hard/soft), snapping it is far easier, faster and more efficient. Furthermore, the toothpick will absorb water, swell and create a extremely tight hold .......but one that can be adjusted. Try it. The actual egg loop knot is what's imperative------because it'll hold anything if tied properly no matter the volume/speed of a flowing body of water. A well constructed yarn ball is all you need-----basically fly fishing ------minus the fly rod------lol
