Heads up to anyone making that moss extractor, those moss blocks can and will invade the dirt on your island if you accidentally press shift near them. Learned that the hard way and had to rip out a section, you'll probably want to move it to somewhere further away from your dirt
Late early game tip, get yourself a refill upgrade for your backpack and throw all the stuff you're manually sifting into it. I put a few thousand dust in mine so I could just go to town on the sieves without fiddling with stacks, now I'm set on redstone to get such things automated.
One thing I did differently that may help other people who aren't as experienced as Chosen is I built the Market block early. Early access to seeds and saplings as long as you're sieving some emeralds.
Recently got into skyblock right after finishing atm9 and I have to say that as usual your series on the packs did help a lot with understanding progression beyond what the quests don't tell you. So thanks for that and keep it up!
After watching ATM9 speed-run by AlfredGG I can say for certainty that the best chest is actually a backpack. Guy beat ATM9 in 27 hours with many tricks, and using backpacks as chests was one of them, not only useful for looting places but you can use as a buffer storage for your mob farm, quarry and resource seeds. The good thing is that compress stuff and you can also void multiple things. A very underestimate item by the community. It wasn't the Ace of the speedrun, that goes for his relentless use of industrial foregoing to suck the Warden Soul and feed in all his machines and get a flat 5x speed. He literally skip many things, including Time in a Bottle.
omg, it is taking all the will power I have not to go sit back down and try all this out but I won't get any sleep again if I cave. So it'll have to be tomorrow. Thanks for explaining things so well. That repair talisman is a game changer, wish it worked on the ore hammer though, or that you could repair it at least.
I can confirm the repair talisman does indeed repair the mekanism version of the paxel in case next you decide to choose durabilty over conflicts of mods on your next upgraded AIOT.
Just noticed that the new stone material from Xycraft is literally just... stone, but in Finnish. Or rock if you prefer. Kivi is used as the translation for both.
I am going to have to look at the Xycraft machine stuff. It reminds me of the pedestal mod which I have used quite a bit. Similar setup too it looks like.
You can also use Project E to make Phantom Membranes, so you don't need to stay out of bed and let Phantoms attack you each night for them. I know they're used a bunch for hidden stuff from Create, dunno about other mods, but I'm certain it's on that list for a reason.
The igneous extruder missing is a really shitty JEI bug that has been present in the mod for like the last 3 Minecraft versions when you have like over 100+ mods in the game its so annoying
Don't understand the aversion to project e some people have. It is balanced quite well. Also especially in a skyblock you create tons of resources out of nothing anyways, why is it then so dramatic to have the ability to convert one of them to another? It is just another method of generating different resources. Also you need to get your hands on the stuff you want to convert to in the first place anyways so it does not allow you to skip ahead or anything like that.
Supposedly the chiseled/chipped versions of moss blocks aren't affected by the sneak bonemeal. Might save someone from accidentally bonemealing their moss blocks in the moss extractor setup
Moss has EMC, it can be automated with a single cobble gen and a ProjectE condenser. Takes up two blocks and produces about a stack every couple of seconds.
My guy architect. If you want to make infinite lava, water ect, ect. Any liquid 8n the barrel can use a drip stone and the barrels will collect it over time it is slow but with enough drip stones you can do alot. 3x3 hooked up
I have seen a lot of ATM9 to the sky where they use all sorts of ways to produce the "crushing" block for the sieves, however I have not seen a single one where they use the Pedestals mod to do so. And that by far is OP as you can take the generated block and then just add hammer to the pedestal and upgrade the material upgrade for speed and there you go crushed block without having to crush it first. Just drop auto sieve Infront of pedestal and let it rip.
Be careful with the ability bottle. You can add or remove abilities, but you can’t delete them. Basically something like slow fall which has only 1 level. If it is equipped to you then you add another to the bottle you won’t be able to take it off because it doesn’t stack.
I was just opening up TH-cam, and the first thing that appeared at the top of my feed was a ChosenArchitect video. Of course I had to instantly click on it :). Keep up the good work!
Idk if it was mentioned yet, but you can set up sieves as 5x5 instead of the default 3x3 in this modpack. I spent a few hours in the modpack before actually reading and realizing it myself
@@michal.dragon Alright then thanks for letting me know. I usually watch the videos while playing games and stuff, so I dont always catch everything thats said
i totally didnt used your generator lol, i went all mystical agriculture. You way is sooo less grind than mine lol. And i totally forgot about the extruder. Damn ty for the remender ;)
I think he uses mouse macro that what I'm using and it's amazing it gives me hundreds of pebbles in seconds and sieves 10 stacks of gravel in 15 seconds
I recently started building an island wich is over 3 k blocks wide in an circular shape (imagine the pain of building the outer ring) Edit: still not done with the outer ring
@@ChosenArchitect Sorry foir late reply, Thanks, btw I flew around 1k-2k blocks in 2 directions and found nothing, then by chance i saw there was a fortress 200 blocks away north from my portal lol
My igeous extruder ignores the Obsidian below it and priduces cobblestone instead of Kivi. Edited to add: I found the Problem: The Botany Pots mods break the Extruder recipes. Somehow. I deactivated that and all works smoothly.

I love how this pack allows you to progress in many different ways. It’s cool seeing everyone do things a little differently.
Really though!
so true... in my opinion it's much more intuitive and easier tp understand than Stoneopolis
@@dalthox i agree , and at the same time in my opinion is more fun to play with friends and see diferent progress

Last time I heard of Xycraft was in 2013 with FTB Ultimate.
I hope that we'll get xycraft tanks.

Amazing to hear! Sophisticated storage is the barrel/chest/drawer version of the backpack mod and shares many of the same upgrades.
Backpacks cost more to upgrade, but you can move them without having to empty them first !

now i gotta make a resource pack that changes Kivi to Finnish Stone
Chosen, drawing a picture of a very cheerful polar bear.
Little hints, you can get blaze rod from silent gear's quest

You can automate dirt with those extractors. All you have to do is make mud and run it through an integrated dynamics drying basin.
With the sivs you can also macro it like you do with pebble and grass! It makes it goes so much faster
Moss doesnt require seeds. there is moss above the default location of the botanica bench

To speed up lava production, make a superheating element from Mekanism. Its extremely easy to make and gives a x60 boost in melting cobble
funny I know you seen the spider and then went in the house to look out the window again lol 25:43
i just finished the first ep like 5 seconds ago what perfect timing
that sb automation example in the quest book can be so much more compact.. drawer with pusher upgrade and a sophisticated chest to name 2 imporvements
I already played this modpack so much Im already at vibranium and Got quite alot of it.
Use emerald tools it is very high durability and as good as diamond tools
Good idea

How did you get nickel dust?
