👍👍👍✌💯 Good point that self help just reinforces mind identification. Thanks for the reminder that we have to stop believing the lies of the mind, which are preventing us from seeing true nature. It would be nice to have a list of all those lies, so we could memorize the list and then denounce them when they happen. Insidious lies of the mind: 1. I am a human with a body and a mind. 2. I am the creator of my thoughts. 3. I need circumstances and outcomes to be a certain way in order to be fulfilled. 4. I am separate from others and I need to protect myself from others....

Miraculously the "No Thing" is the base of and contains "Every Thing". There's no salvation for the me. There's only the dissolution of it. What remains is "What is". Not to be imagined, not to be thought about. Only to be experienced, if it can be said that. By whom? Therein lies the great mystery. "I" like this channel. ❤
After listening to your talk, I sat down and just tried to experience myself as the one who is observing myself think, feel, and experience physical sensations. I was astonished at how this observing self seemed totally uninterested in doing anything constructive at all. Eventually, I got up went for a walk and then cooked dinner. The rest of the evening continued to go smoothly. I did not experience anything extraordinary, no miracles, no altered states, but everything was easy, from cooking dinner to promoting my online business on social media. What happens if you slow down the mind and begin to see things from the viewpoint of an observer? Does your life improve as a result?
@@SaleemRanaAuthor lovely 😊 life circumstances may improve from being better managed, or they may stay the same if they serve you. The definite difference is it will be experienced from peace. Hi Heather, how would you apply this to finding a suitable job when one has been seeking one for years just to keep head above water? It’s been quite frustrating for years. I feel if I stop trying I will simply end up on the street.
Situations like this move our understanding from theoretical to directly experienced - use it to soften. Are you using wisdom to find the job, or the churning mind? I’ve certainly experienced something like this, as well as an obvious shift when I realize I’ve been looking in the wrong place or ignoring an asset or resource (or that I’m adhering to a structure that doesn’t suit me). The point is not to do nothing or quit, but to experience inspired doing from a place of peace. Just a reminder that this situation doesn’t define you whatsoever. Step back and look at the sequence of events as cause and effect. 🙏
Many of us are spirit beings in an avatar body. Life is easy life is hard it's part of life on this reality. Struggle makes us stronger. Usually those who Struggle the most it's because God is purifying us.
