Fun fact: Whenever a titan is wounded, the injured site releases steam and regenerate. While Eren was holding up the huge ass boulder, he was constantly being crushed by the weight of it and his body was working overtime to heal it, that explains the massive steam emanating from him.
It's crazy when you know about the steam and then rewatch aot you can see steam coming from eren after he hit his head tryna practice odm gear with Armin and mikasa

Just for clarification: Survey Corps is the branch of military who go outside beyond the walls to kill Titans and investigate their origins and research on them. Before the battle of Trost, we saw them leave the walls to venture out and they only just came back after Eren plugged the wall. There are three walls, Wall Maria, Wall Rose and Wall Sina. Wall Maria is where Jaeger family lived and is now in ruins after Collosal and Armored laid waste. The whole Wall Maria now is filled with Titans (the outer layer). Now the humanity lives and was pushed back to Wall Rose (the 2nd layer). The King is living inside the third innermost layer (Wall Sina)

Levi, Erwin and all of the survey corps went outside the walls some episodes back. That's why they weren't there till episode 13. They were on their way back to trost and that's why Levi asked "what's going on" after he eliminated two Titans.
Armin isn't fearless and ruthless like Mikasa and Eren seem to be. However, he is able to overcome his fear, which in my opinion is more impressive than not feeling any at all. It's why he's one of my favorite characters in this show.
Eren's voice actor is one of the best in the industry and his performance in 2x12 is one of the most iconic and emotion-filled of all I've heard. He also won the award for the best VA this year.
Everytime I hear Armin scream “Go, Eren!” I just tear up! It’s such an intense scene and the immediate calm relief afterwards knowing that for the first time, humanity won.

I feel like most people say that about Season 2, more? Because I really like Season 2, but a lot of people were really annoyed with it, especially the first half. Season 1 has its pacing problems but I do think it feels more consistent overall, even though 2 hits higher highs.
Each season has their own quirk Season 1 has the typical shounen style story however there is something that is lacking in which Season 2 has. The Side Characters' stories, like why are they there? Who really are these people and whatnot. Season 3 Part 1 is the story in which they should understand the consequences of their actions as a whole. Season 3 Part 2 is the pay off of build up and character's attitude

Yuki Kaji (Eren's voice actor) has repeatedly torn his vocal cords from yelling and wailing and all of it is believable. In fact he even bites his hand every time Eren does as well. Talk about method actor. He's amazing 😩

The end of the Battle of Trost. The first victory of humanity. Absolutely out of this world, that scene is.
I have to say this now but you’re going to have sooo many questions but be patient they will all be answered by the show eventually, the writer was very good about closing all gaps. From what I remember, Isayama, the creator of Attack on titan had planned and polished this universe to a perfection for five years before even starting writing the story itself. Truely a masterpiece.
19:30 They were out on an expedition the past 3 episodes. They showed a bit of it. I believe turned around halfway when they noticed the titans were drawn towards the walls. That was unnatural and the last time it happened was in episode 1 when the walls were breached. So it's assumed that the Scouts rushed back as soon as they could (safely), can't really blame them.

I want you to know that, whenever you think there is something that doesnt make sense in this show, it ALWAYS makes sense eventually. I've only spotted 1 error in the whole 4 seasons so far. And yes, every season , every episode of this show is better than the last one, starting from episode 1 to the end.

they always add enough in every single episode that you just crave more no matter how many episodes you watch. Love you watching all this! And i agree with others, i'd like 3-5 eps per episode given they could possibly be made a little longer (feel it's a big difference doing 3 eps in a 20min reaction video compared to trying to cram 5 eps into the same amount of time). That would make a good pace for catching up to the most recent season and gives leeway for you to do less/more in a single video depending on how heavy the content is of those eps.
This is just the greatest reactions to anything I've seen on yt. Keep it up, because you make me (and a lot of us) feel like we're watching the show from the beginning like you. Truly a masterpiece and it only gets better.
It’s funny you say that about Eren’s voice actor. Apparently Isayama had trouble pinning down Eren as a character until he heard Eren’s voice in the anime.
I really appreciate when you said you really love their dialogue. The dialogue is the life of the show. The trueness of their emotions portrayed as humans, you can really understand them. Unlike other animes where it's just too good to be true, in AOT, they're showing the vulnerability of humans which we all can relate. Also, I guess reacting to 4 or 5 episodes is enough it's just a matter of your interval. I understand you still have to edit your videos but I do hope to see your reactions every other day. Everyone , anime or non anime fan , was overwhelmed on that moment .. 8 years ago when I first saw this , all sorts of emotions haywired ( I binged watched this at the dawn of my wedding , and my husband was like , why are your eyes red at 6AM ? ) I was like , basically from crying LMAO All emotions on the first season is really what you'd really feel and say if Attack on Titan happened in real life ; I mean , if you're gonna die , then die fighting , right ? For reactions for anything, I’d think somewhere in the 20-30 mins range is good, especially if you’re doing 4 or 5 episodes, that gives a solid 5 mins+ to each episode. Loving your journey! Fun fact: Whenever a titan is wounded, the injured site releases steam and regenerate. While Eren was holding up the huge ass boulder, he was constantly being crushed by the weight of it and his body was working overtime to heal it, that explains the massive steam emanating from him.
It's crazy when you know about the steam and then rewatch aot you can see steam coming from eren after he hit his head tryna practice odm gear with Armin and mikasa

Just for clarification: Survey Corps is the branch of military who go outside beyond the walls to kill Titans and investigate their origins and research on them. Before the battle of Trost, we saw them leave the walls to venture out and they only just came back after Eren plugged the wall.
There are three walls, Wall Maria, Wall Rose and Wall Sina. Wall Maria is where Jaeger family lived and is now in ruins after Collosal and Armored laid waste. The whole Wall Maria now is filled with Titans (the outer layer). Now the humanity lives and was pushed back to Wall Rose (the 2nd layer).
The King is living inside the third innermost layer (Wall Sina)

Levi, Erwin and all of the survey corps went outside the walls some episodes back. That's why they weren't there till episode 13. They were on their way back to trost and that's why Levi asked "what's going on" after he eliminated two Titans.
Armin isn't fearless and ruthless like Mikasa and Eren seem to be. However, he is able to overcome his fear, which in my opinion is more impressive than not feeling any at all. It's why he's one of my favorite characters in this show.
Eren's voice actor is one of the best in the industry and his performance in 2x12 is one of the most iconic and emotion-filled of all I've heard. He also won the award for the best VA this year.

The fact that season 1 is considered by most to be the "weakest" season despite it also being amazing speaks volumes to the ever increasing quality of the show.

I feel like most people say that about Season 2, more? Because I really like Season 2, but a lot of people were really annoyed with it, especially the first half. Season 1 has its pacing problems but I do think it feels more consistent overall, even though 2 hits higher highs.

Season 1 has the typical shounen style story however there is something that is lacking in which Season 2 has. The Side Characters' stories, like why are they there? Who really are these people and whatnot. Season 3 Part 1 is the story in which they should understand the consequences of their actions as a whole. Season 3 Part 2 is the pay off of build up and character's attitude

From what I remember, Isayama, the creator of Attack on titan had planned and polished this universe to a perfection for five years before even starting writing the story itself. Truely a masterpiece.
19:30 They were out on an expedition the past 3 episodes. They showed a bit of it. I believe turned around halfway when they noticed the titans were drawn towards the walls. That was unnatural and the last time it happened was in episode 1 when the walls were breached. So it's assumed that the Scouts rushed back as soon as they could (safely), can't really blame them.
I am basically using your reactions to rewatch the show, they are priceless! Also I can't help but notice how perceptive you are. Like, you are noticing a lot of details that will be relevant in the future, and I remember that when I first watched the show so many of those things just went over my head!

I want you to know that, whenever you think there is something that doesnt make sense in this show, it ALWAYS makes sense eventually. I've only spotted 1 error in the whole 4 seasons so far.

So take that as you will ;)

Saying how he's only seen Pokémon and Yukio, that he always thought anime was for kids, etc. Then acting surprised about the songs and animation (in the OPs/EDs) of shows he's already seen, saying how it's his first time ever watching something like this. Later using the excuse that his ex was into anime, so if he seemed interested in anime on Instagram, it was to impress her? I just think it's a weird way to go about these reactions..

they always add enough in every single episode that you just crave more no matter how many episodes you watch. Love you watching all this! And i agree with others, i'd like 3-5 eps per episode given they could possibly be made a little longer (feel it's a big difference doing 3 eps in a 20min reaction video compared to trying to cram 5 eps into the same amount of time). That would make a good pace for catching up to the most recent season and gives leeway for you to do less/more in a single video depending on how heavy the content is of those eps.
This is just the greatest reactions to anything I've seen on yt. Keep it up, because you make me (and a lot of us) feel like we're watching the show from the beginning like you. Truly a masterpiece and it only gets better.

I really appreciate when you said you really love their dialogue. The dialogue is the life of the show. The trueness of their emotions portrayed as humans, you can really understand them. Unlike other animes where it's just too good to be true, in AOT, they're showing the vulnerability of humans which we all can relate.
Also, I guess reacting to 4 or 5 episodes is enough it's just a matter of your interval. I understand you still have to edit your videos but I do hope to see your reactions every other day. I just love them!!🔥🔥

For reactions for anything, I’d think somewhere in the 20-30 mins range is good, especially if you’re doing 4 or 5 episodes, that gives a solid 5 mins+ to each episode. Loving your journey! And yeah, once you get started you don’t want to stop, sign of a good show that knows when to cut and leave you needing more! 😁
