I own a 2023 Macan GTS and I could not be happier. Great all year rounder here in Canada.
Yeah that would be the perfect car for Canada. I used to live in BC, on the side of a mountain and snow was a challenge for a lot of cars.

Is the Macan big enough to be classified as an SUV?
I like it but it's really a jacked up 5 door hatch thingo.
It’s bigger than some of than some of the suvs that I am used too but I agree it definitely feels like a big hatch

GREAT video.
Drive the Stelvio or especially the Stelvio Quad next... seriously underratted SUV. I love the Macan, the Stelvio is wonderful, too. What draws me to the Stelvio more is the obvious italian awesomeness and lack of german wtfness when it comes to plastic parts on the engine but being an SUV, it's a torque converter auto rather than dual clutch but shifts and feels like a dual clutch.
Plastric parts aside...German cars issues aside... You think the Stelvios are high quality? They are FAR less relaible.

Being in a handful of German car groups and also amongst the stelvio groups, and even the fiat 500 groups (an owner of now 4 of them at this point), I feel confident that the stelvio is a reliable car. Sure, it seems the quad is more susceptible to issues but so is any overpowered car that’s asking for it but the 2.0 looks like a solid machine with lots of high mileage happy owners.
I’m sure it’s a great suv if you want to spend 86K base for one. So yah hard pass for me.
yeah that’s very fair. Although the used ones are becoming a lot more affordable
The used market is a perfect place, I picked a 2018 with 43k miles up for 30k. Great vehicle.
@@xxxmachiavelli7726not the same car though. The 2018 GTS has the same engine as the 2024 S. The 2024 S has the same engine as the no longer available Turbo. So a 2018 GTS, whilst nice, is a very different car to the 2024 GTS
