Five Fridays pooja procedure in Aadi (Ashada) month
1st Aadi Friday is dedicated to the Goddess of wealth - Swarnambika.
2nd Aadi Friday is dedicated to the Goddess of intelligence - Angala Amman
3rd Aadi Friday is dedicated to the Goddess of courage and health - Annai Kalikambal
4th Aadi Friday is dedicated to the Goddess of relationship - Kamakshi Amman
5th Aadi Friday is dedicated to the Goddess of overall prosperity - Lakshmi.
Neivedhyam
1. Sakkarrai Pongal and Payasam are cooked on this day and offered to the Goddess.
2. Lemon Malai is offered to Kamakshi Amman to get divine protection and to remove obstacles.
3. Thamboolam is given to five Sumangalis. Thamboolam is nothing but KumKum, turmeric, beetel leaves, thali kayiru, banana and flowers. One can even offer blouse bits or sarees too.
4. Light ghee lamps to the Goddess Lakshmi.

Thanks for the guidance regarding aadi velli pooja.i have 2 doubts. First one the plate with rice and dal should be kept separately close to the villakku?
Second one the thiri( wick) u mentioned. Now if the specified thamara thiri is unavailable can we use the normal one that we regularly use.
Also please tell us whether any kolam should be drawn

Hi, i have been a silent subscriber of u so far, I appreciate ur work and knowledge. Hope u could help me. i followed ur navarathri pooja ritual with aganda deepam.. but though I tried harder for some or the other reasons the lamp was lit of so many times.. But I convinced myself continued pooja.. But on November 6 my father passed away. he was on dialysisfor one and half an hour. My pooja obligation was his better health. now after these days I am scared to do any specific pooja .
