Thank you very much for all your videos on oscillators and the similar features of valves and FETs. I would like to mention an other (and, may be older) LC oscillator : the ARMSTRONG oscillator en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armstrong_oscillator This kind of oscillator is used by Maurice Martenot for his music intrument named "Ondes Martenot". I'm interested with that because I plan to retore an intrument bought by my grandfather in 1938. This is the raison why I currently work on valves/tubes, TSF, superheteroyne, etc... and I wish to become familiar with those technologies... Maurice Martenot was a musician and radio operator during the first world war. (excuse my english -;) ) Eric
Thanks for the building the circuits and explaining them. Looking forward to the next one!
I like the signal you are getting with the J-FET Colpitts! Very nice.
As an old timer, I recall hearing valve and tube interchangeably here in the US back in the day, with about equal frequency...
I hear Colpits oscillator a lot in old TV repair channels, nice to see exactly what they are and some history
How did you create the blue link with the little magnifier?

Your English is just fine ! Good luck with your restoration. It certainly sounds like a great adventure, especially considering its family link 😊
