Guess what, guys. The biggest series of the year is about to kick off at Lodge Card Club. Come hang out with us at the Lodge Championship Series. That’s an order. thelodgepokerclub.com/lcs/
Your wife or gf is very pretty and so chill just sitting there watching the birds while you comentate your video, lucky man my friend, great gal she seems like, love your videos
I don't know how I missed this, but I'm assuming that the beautiful lady sitting next to you is your significant other? Have you been keeping this fact away from us or have I just not being paying attention? Would you be so kind as to tell me her name so I don't have to internally address her as "Andrew's better half"? ;-) (Edit...I rewatched and heard you address her as "Busi"!!!! (spelling?) You look like a very cute couple together!)
Normally I dislike creators addressing negative comments...but I really like that you turned it into meaningful advice for people. The most growth happens outside your comfort zone. I love that advice. Respect!
I love how you addressed the people who gave you shit about being in Bobby's room. You have been killing it for years and have improved your game greatly along the way. You belong there and I respect the hell out of you for stepping in that room. Keep doing you Andrew and I will try to get outside of my comfort zone more often.
So glad you mentioned the dummies in the comments. You know what you're doing and the growth outside of the comfort zone is on point! Keep it up Andrew
sounds like Andrew isnt actually correct though, if out of your comfort zone means that you're not making the correct plays (that said, I have no idea if that were true, didnt watch the video), you probably shouldnt be playing that high. Telling viewers to fuck right off for what seems to be decent advice, possibly, is odd. But they probably worded it in a non helpful way so in that sense....then yeah, you can f right off.
@@Frankje01 It's nuanced. Did he make a play he wouldn't have b/c he was out of his comfort zone? Probably. Does that mean he shouldn't be taking a shot? No. It's not so black and white.
@@Frankje01 I completely disagree with that. You will almost certainly make plays that aren't the "correct" plays, whether you're playing high stakes, or low. And are you talking purely GTO, exploitative, or both? And who knows all the correct plays at the table anyways given all the factors? My point is that you can't learn and grow unless you're getting out of your comfort zone and making mistakes. So to say he shouldn't be playing those stakes because he isn't making the "correct" plays is asinine, and that would be terrible advice. Not helpful at all.
@@Frankje01You really have to watch the previous video in Bobby's room. I think that his game was off... I mean he pays $75 at the end just to show what I already knew. I'm sure that everyone has "off" days, so it's not a big deal. Ultimately it's up to his intuition what he folds. I'd love to get a second opinion on the Queens hand though.
Been watching you for about 6 years now. I've enjoyed watching you make those leaps into the bigger levels and challenging yourself. You may not have the bankroll for it, but you never know until you take the next steps up. You are doing an amazing job and I look forward to watching you take even bigger steps in the future!
I love how much your personality and humour is coming through…like the pause when the woman walks across the screen with her baby carriage. CONGRATS Andrew!!!! And SO GREAT to see Busi!!! AND ALSO AGREED re going beyond Comfort Zone!!!!!!
been following you since day 1 of your journey when u filmed at your vegas apartment balcony, andrew. youre like an old friend now ☺️ very happy for your run good. keep it up!
Great to see you on the ship! It was great to meet Matt as well being from Indy. Glad you did well after me funding you on the MUG. See you on the next one!
I thought that too, but other comments mention in PLO you have to play 2 from your hand + 3 from the board. Neither player can make the full house, so Andrew's ace wins
Stumbled across your channel accidentally last month, and you're quickly becoming one of my fav poker vloggers. One of the more articulate and entertaining vloggers out there. Subscribed, keep it up!
14:32 Andrew, I'm in the middle of contemplating a career change. My current company is very much comfortable, but in my heart I know the best move for me right now is to look for other options. The person telling me I shouldn't do it is myself, and I want you to know that I needed to hear what you said. I have a phone interview tomorrow and after watching this video I'm feeling more ready for it. Thanks man!
Best ever. I’ve stopped watching other poker vlogs altogether, they don’t even come close to yours in terms of the story, filming, music and pre and outright videos, everything. It is something better than a VLOG actually, not sure what to call it, but it is must see material. Congrats on the wins and great to see and hear Busi again. All the best Andrew.
I had to think about it too but in PLO you have to play two cards per board. Therefore a 4 is removed meaning he has trip 4s with Q9 or queen high which loses to the ace high. This is why I don’t like PLO. Every turn typically changes hands and typically in a drastic way.
@@ApocalypseNowWithEli what? That just doesn't compute in my head, even if it's the best 2 cards out of your hand he still paired up with a queen on the board compared to a pair of 3s on the board, idk how the ace is even relevant
Hello Andrew and Busi. Congrats on the tourny scores and private game result. Especially making a final table. For sure we need to occasionally take shots and challenge the "comfort" zone. Almost 200k subs. Nice! Safe travels.
Putting ourselves outside of our comfort zone from time to time is often how we grow and develop the most! The people making those comments should give it a try more often.
Busi and Drew on a Central Park bench should be its own show. I don’t know why I loved “are the pigeons in your video?” But, I did. You guys are delightful. Oh, and thanks for the poker too.
Hey Andrew your the 1st poker blogger I started watching years ago.... I enjoy all your videos and commentary. Keep doing what you do. And keep getting out of your comfort zone....
