  • This was a rare treat for us as we happened to stumble across 2 hard chugging locomotives building a train at the Toyota car manufacturing plant in Cambridge Ontario.
Just after putting together it's last set of Autoracks we get to see the whole train come out at the Fountain st train crossing.
We hope you enjoy this video and feel may some of the following links below.

It’s very cool how much 2 trains can pull

Not sure, but this is probably typical amount they usual pull.

The shed in the pic is where 2 track mobiles are for moving the cars when getting closed up and then re coupled to the next car and is done I think by CANDO ...Might have changed though ...Nice footage I rarely see them in the plant (Always miss them) but do see them working the yard and somthimes catch both them and the Wolverton crew working the sections of the yard at the same time

Fascinating to see the names of railroads from all across North America on the cars. Nice work!!!

Great video. I live 10 min from here in Preston. I hear this train passing through town everyday.

Neat. I come in from Guelph quite a few times to see this train over the years. I was lucky to be at the right time and place to catch this one. For this was the only time I've ever seen a train switching at the Toyota plant. Most of the time I've seen them switching autoracks over Maple Groove on the south end of Kitchener. Not really a good place to film trains in my opinion. Thanks for the comment! 👍

Why are you not uploading any videos

FYI I've change jobs like a month ago and my new schedule greatly interferes with my ability to record or edit any new videos.
It's ashame too, because I have at least a video of a CN train on the Huron Spur at Queen St in Kitchener and also a CN train on Fergus Spur with some really old tracks from 1923 in Hespeler.
This maybe the next video I'll try to put when I have some time do so. Thanks for asking!

That's cool. I've been too Cambridge quite a few time in the few months ago. Mostly I've been trying to observe the CP Waterloo sub and the CN / Fergus and Galt spur that comes in from Guelph. I'm Especially keen regarding Galt spur most because I don't think it gets used pass further then Conestoga. Hopefully I'm wrong and I'll get to see something further done the that line.

    What job did you get

Well it's a factory job. However I would rather not mentioned the name or where it is. I hope you can understand how i would like to keep the personal life separate from my media life. As you know I do this channel when I have time. I just have 2 videos left to finish and then I'll won't be back for a while.
