Its a great plot twist but too predictable for me. Many fans theorized how Idia acts way too opposite to where he is based from and to that, he isnt gonna be the villain in this story, but seeing how he acts normally around them in the S.T.Y.X I feel like he is pretending. He is still an Otaku but not a Shut in that we know.

Its said that all the people who Overblot have an antagonistic side to them that makes them the villain in the story. It wont be surprising that Idia would just be as antagonistic as they were before.

I believe Idia is acting like his villain counterpart because he’s in an environment that he’s familiar with. He practically grew up in STYX so he’s well-aware of what goes on there (for the most part). Plus, the Overblot boys are powerless in this situation so he would get rather cocky about it. STYX is essentially HIS territory

But he has troubles making friends due to his anxiety. But i feel like it is all going to come down to his family’s curse. And something to do with ortho. Since ortho’s birthday card came out this year, unlike everyone else who came out last year. Perhaps idia’s family has a curse for death? And maybe idia doesn’t want to see anymore death? Since as most of the fandom believes, ortho has died once. And now the overblot is active in the school, that can also cause death (I think). Perhaps he just wants to help. But doesn’t know how to any other way then what’s he's done now, by abducting them.

I believe Idia is acting like his villain counterpart because he’s in an environment that he’s familiar with. He practically grew up in STYX so he’s well-aware of what goes on there (for the most part). Plus, the Overblot boys are powerless in this situation so he would get rather cocky about it. But i feel like it is all going to come down to his family’s curse. And something to do with ortho. Since ortho’s birthday card came out this year, unlike everyone else who came out last year.
