Super proud of Rema, he was heavily criticized for his sound…. Now a lot of young artists sound like him
Why would niggas criticize his sound?
Nobody is trying to sound like him.. Stop the cap
@@demarcusdarius9096 U can ask Alex up there☝️
Stop capping. Everyone loved him from the start
He also sounded like some other artist when he started.
I absolutely loooove Rema! He’s literally in his own lane. His sound moves my body and spirit.

Even 40 years. He is an old soul

Great interview. The interviewer asked the right questions, and it was clear he really knows Rema.
He is such a great artist and a great person! All the best Remy Boy, Nigeria loves you, Africa loves you !
ANOTHER.... BANGER!!
I've been a fan since "DUMEBI" 🧡🇰🇪🇳🇬🇺🇲
I knew Rema was talented when I heard Dumebi and Iron man but was not really attached to him. But when I saw the level of hate towards him, criticisms and morbid act of downplaying his songs, voice, I knew he was a or rather; they saw him as a threat to their faves, I knew he was a formidable competitor who is not just out to compete but displace and change the status quo 😅 But today, he is my number one afrobeat artiste and I love him beyond measure. 🦇🦇👑
Who hated on him?
@@raydude1510 those from his own country who saw his rising as a threat to the dominance of their faves. They did all to undermine him. At some point, they were wishing him death on twitters. But with the support he got from some parts of his country and massive international recognition, they could only watch him rise to stardom and like an ostrich, hid their heads under the stand as he scurry on by😀
@@Mike-ez2en man just shut the fack up, everyone supported him back in his country. Stop saying shitty things you know nothing about
I hated him too 😂. I started love him when he sang I too like woman. But I hated him because then he sang like wizkid and sounded exactly like him then
@@Chefnonso He never sounded like wizkid
To somebody out there everything is going to be alright!!!!!

smart kid
❤️ ❤️♥️
I still can't get the image of Bayinni copycatting rema out of my head (at the mavin allstars concert)
🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬❤️💯
Rema created what!! Yo lets be real here
What did you hear? Or did you not hear him mention "Afro Rave" ...smh
Why does every Nigerian musician has to creat a genre?
The competition is too serious. They need to create and carve a lane so they won't fade off quickly
AfroBeat is a platform, you have to create your own sound from it to succeed.
Cos they all shouldn't sound the same. They all draw from the source (Afrobeats) and create their own unique sound
America: rap, hip hop, jazz, country, R &B …
Because music is still rapidly developing in Nigeria
Kenya music to the world
I always thought Rema was born in America
No.
He reminds me of young Michael Jackson hehe.
