Same. Planning on making my players encounter a naga.
Long story, their fetch quest was originally meant to go and kill a Red Dragon, but we're all new, I'm not confident enough to run that, so now they'll find a naga chilliing in the lair of the Red Dragon she killed a couple centuries ago. naga taking a "small break" from humanity to go through the dragon's treasures and organize them.
Joined by his adopted brother, a Cóatl and his daughter. Snek sibs, sneky daughter. Three bookworms chilling under a mountain cause they kinda introverted lol.
Gave them a bunch of artifacts and things so my players don't get cocky and try to kill them. If they're smart and befriend the sneks, they get what they came looking for plus treasure and mayyybe an offer to get the naga as a patron, if they're confident and curious enough to multiclass into warlock.

one funny thing about D&D 5th edition is that many of the classes have an ability or something that gives them ever lasting life not immortality but ever lasting life and even more abilities give characters the ability to survive without food, water, sleep, or air along with the immunity to disease meaning you could play a specific character and 700 years later in the same universe you could play or find the exact same character that you played which can lead to some pretty interesting role playing opportunities

Is there not any magic that can make a character younger? Iirc, there are effects that age characters, so in a world of magic and gods that definitely exist it stands to reason that rejuvenating would exist. In fact, in his video on Sphinxes he mentions that they have the ability to increase or decrease a person's age, but it's mentioned in the context of manipulating time so it wasn't clear on whether that change in age also involves a correlating change in experience. I.e. making a person 20 years younger also erases all the experiences they've had in the last 20 years (or at least that person's memory of them, since actually erasing the experiences altogether would involve some game killing paradoxes).
Still...if magic can make you older it seems like it could also make you younger, unless the rulebooks explicitly state otherwise.

A point to be made about this topic Is that the Tarrasque can permanently kill gods by destroyng the divine Essence.

It's now killable by with polymorph and power word kill, goodberries, flying wizards, and clay golems, among other things. It's acid no longer destroys gods or artifacts, nor magical weapons or things immune to acid damage.

I remember about that rebirth process, there was an ancient necromancy based society in one campaign I was in. The main antagonist was the royal alchemist who was tricked by the king into making a trap for himself. The bottle had a liquid you drank and past that point- so long the bottle remain in one piece your soul will be put in the bottle after death and anyone who drinks or sniffs your spirit must roll a WIS save (15+souls proficiency modifier) or they instantly died via getting their soul ripped from their body and the bottled soul took over. The liquid attaching to the soul and anchoring to the bottle, basically meaning- infinite usage if used once.
It took Red dragon scales (given I was a level 10 rogue, almost died, took its egg though! XD), Pheonix feathers (I almost caught it, luckily a shadow dragon was summoned at the exit- killing it for me), and the last ingredient took me foraging in the undead kingdoms capital in the main antagonists alchemy room for a special refined-powdered mushroom. I almost got mind controlled but got an insanely lucky nat 20 CON save, my tiefling blood just lit on fire and killed all these mind controlling worms the alchemist made a long time ago. And the main antagonist (who we didn't know was bad yet) actually made me the potion free of charge if he got to keep the extra ingredients left over, and even helped me hatch the red dragon egg. The npc's were the only ones who actually treated me with respect sadly... I joined him at the end as I simply like him more than the group who undermine all my plans, ideas, and solutions. He WAS apparently easy alone, with me added to his side it made for a very interesting fight so no one was angry and actually understood they could have treated my character better in the aftermath. It was a draw in a way, everyone but me and the weakest team member were dead- him was bleeding out with his last 5 hp. I was turned into an imp... I guess I technically won as I got out and lived with a imp colony I helped build- my best friend being the literal king of the ever growing colony, and the last member later died from his wounds.

hey rhexx after the meridia loreplay i went on and read some lore and found something MIchael Kirkbride said about connection between meridia and kyne. I dont understand it completely but maybe it makes sense to you. Here it is:
    On Meridia:
What no one has ever seen is the connection between Meridia and Kyne. Let that sink in. What do they-- when connected-- both govern?
Think about KotN. One made the Knight, one opposed the Knight. One rained forever because he was gone. One said, no I will wait until he comes back.
Quit mixing up gods and demons. They are just emotions. In magic, those are real feels. Meridia is the color of his return when curtained by rain. That blink in your eye when the postcard isn't answered? That weird huff in your chest when you're waiting for THAT text? That whole night you wait and force sleep so the morning comes? And you hear rain on the window pane and figure, fine, they weren't listening.
Today isn't the day? WRONG. That's the day when you never knew you were at your best. You surrendered. You walked about, called a cab, or turned on the monitor to read the net, or walked the dog because at least the dog always listens. Took a shower, got MORE shit in your eye. Walked to the corner store to get saline because you didn't last night and you really have to put your contacts in.
Worse, you're a parent now. With cataracts. And the only way your children easily talk to you is a phone screen, which you can only make out in color. A thing you can not quite perceive anymore, so your other sense compensate for it. Can't see right? Ears will for you. Can't hear right? Eyes will for you.
Can you see the admixture of color and sound yet? You sense it. If even you can only taste the one that's gone. That's your only Memory and touchstone. Otherwise, why would you wait? Hope has a color and a sound and a taste and a touch and 11 more sense you don't know you have yet. And this is why you worship them. The gods and demons beyond your control. They went through it before you. They are your ancestors, and this is in the blood. They are your Aedra/Daedra. And sometimes their names get mixed up.
Still the same: they show you the path. Even as an orphaned star, you will get HOME again. You always have your birthsign. Rejoin with it. That's your family. The star signs of the magic that rules this world. They know the way. All you have to do is look, hear, touch, taste or feel for their presence. It's in their job description.

Today in the pathfinder game I participated in, I got included as a mineral malphite to help the party move on their quest. They are incarnating various demons and monsters to save a princess from the underworld.
Earlier in their campaign they encountered a Naga that almost murdered them, and left them leave with one condition : bring the vampire lord that robbed his treasures ages ago.
The rogue tricked the naga to create a secondary entrance to it's dungeon and to give us a bait we could use to draw the vampire lord here again (he already came and cleaned the place ages ago) and so, he showed us a staff of metamagic as bait.
With all that plan set, we move back to manor and he trick the vampire with the bait and that secondary entrance.
Vampire and naga fought, and we moved through it's lair to our objective on the other side.
We didn't know it was immortal, just waaaaay too strong for our misfit party of level 6s.
Just beware when a satyre tells you about his "melted goat cheese".

so for one of my campaigns I had a Naga guarding a library from anyone who would miss use the knowledge contained within and as time went on people who were worthy would be allowed to enter the library and take what knowledge they were permitted to take from the library and eventually the library was empty so with nothing to protect and having created a spell that gave it perfect memory using the information in the library the Naga gained a level of free will akin to the humanoid races as such it began to observe and question things delving into philosophy and learning more and more eventually making piece with a town of people and acting as a sort of adviser from the town

hmm monks have timeless body feat, any caster can wish for said feat, a wizard can use the clone spell to keep reverting back to young age, the wish spell could even be used to remove that restraint of entropy as well.

It's really interesting watching this shortly after the video on Asmodeus. It broaches the question: Is the lore contradictory, or is Asmodeus' true self an aspect of the former World Serpent? Even if he is, there are some aspects that still seem like they might be contradictory.

There’s a kind of magic you can use without using clerical spells or high magic to live indefinitely as the same human: cast the 9th level Conjuration Gate and call out the true name of the man on Earth (our Earth, not Toril) who reversed aging in mice: David A. Sinclair.
Then with him around, he can direct your use of fabricate spells (or casting True Polymorph on a pig to make the appropriate objects for more complex things that go past the “high skill” prohibitions on Fabricate uses) to make all of the tools and buildings necessary to make the biological materials necessary to edit your cells to:
    1) remove the human retroviruses.
    2) utilize 3 of the 4 stem cell factors to literally undo aging.
