EMDR is wonderful. I went through years of therapy before I discovered it. Completely life changing!

This is so interesting to me because I just started listening to your old podcast and I'm up to mid-2016, around the time of the first episode with Steven Pressfield and you are kind of pushing back on the idea of artistic suffering and wondering if you can write anything worthwhile even if you've not experienced any trauma or deep emotional adversity. Your path is quite the hero's journey itself!

The way you tell how you came to write the book is a thrilling short story of its own.

The real-life experience you shared with us and that 21 pilots song sure share common motif, even some lines almost match. I'm excited to read a book based on that kind of life-realization story, sadly I won't be able to buy it due to sanction limitations but I hope to get hands on it some day if it makes to a service with other payment options

2020 was when I decided to crack open Story Grid 1.0. I was at that training/event in 2022. The narrative path is such a potent addition to the 1.0 materials.
I look forward to The Shithead the way I imagine sports enthusiasts look forward to the Olympics. I've seen and am currently undertaking training protocols akin to what you've participated in, and I've seen how I've grown as a writer. You've been at it longer with greater coaching and focus, so I'm excited to see the change in your performance asoon an author.

same here... I also won nanowrimo... But now I am working on my first draft, it's not my first book. I'm doing this because it's time... I am taking my life back after getting "you're cancer-free" last August. It's just time. We feel it in our bones when it's time. I have been writing all my life, it's side by side with my art. My story encapsulates a lot... so ... drafted...
