Yes Dave you need to be doing in my opinion 2 gigs a week and renting the dance floor as part of that event to make the financial case for a dance floor! If it costs £6k you need to add £600 to the bill to cover it!

There are many dance floor manufacturers out there and if they believe that there products are better in some way than the rest. Like you say. Surely a video of it being used would be helpful. I'm very sure you would give it a proper video review. 👍
How much would you hire that out at on top of everything else? £6300 is a big outlay especially for a mobile setup. Here in the North East of the UK most mobile setups I've seen haven't spent anything like that kind of money on their whole rig. It surprises me that the company haven't got all types of videos showcasing what it can do. Let's face it when it comes to lighting products a good video goes a long way to help sell something.
I would say you would add £630 per gig (10%) of cost so once you get to rental 11 you are in profit. Yes it really surprised me that such a high value product did not have great photos and videos as that is what would generate the interest in the product 😎👍🏻
