Six years on from their first fight in Hamburg, Derek Chisora and Kubrat Pulev now rematch at The O2, London on Saturday 9 July live on DAZN. Before then, the pair face off with Eddie Hearn... As expected there's a classic line or two from Del Boy!

chisora had made a living off of fighting borderline everyone without taking many breaks, hes not fooling boxing fans hes giving us fights to look forwards too unlike a few heavyweights and fighters

Well he's entertaining for me. I mean how many football teams are crap or lose, but people support them. How many are entertaining but never gonna reach the top level. Sport is something that you can get stuck in for someone or a team that isn't the best if you feel whatever it is (a connection / emotional attachment etc...)

I don't get the hate for this fight. It's entertainment. Nothing more, nothing less. Chisora will not become world champion but he can still deliver great nights of boxing and entertaining build-ups

hmm .. not sure about that over ..and missused word "hate" (used to discredit any critisism ) but i think there are some who perhaps feel it is not in chisoras best interests , health wise to continue putting himself in the way of serious long term consequences ! and perhaps the pointlessness of the fight , makes the risks unacceptable ! surely he has secured his future financially by now ? but back to my earlier point , this readiness to dismiss that which we dont like as "hate" says everything you need to know about the modern world and a generation who cant countenance opposition , critisism or challenge !

I didn't like the way Pulev was acting in the build up against Joshua, but now he is doing a much better job at promoting his fight. His English has also improved which helps entertain the international audience. This may be his last big fight, but he deserves respect for his career and for not giving up on trying to win a world title. May both men come out of it in good health if that is even possible in this sport.
I support your oppinion. I m bulgarian and i m proud of all he has done.... In my country many ppl dont like him as a person(i do like him) but most of them resp3ct him as a warrior.

I'm from Bulgaria and as I read the comments, I see something interesting and also pretty sad for me as bulgarian... What I see here is that people around the world respect Pulev more than we Bulgarians... That's pretty sad.. Most of the people here make fun of him and don't believe he will ever be champion. But me myself... I respect Pulev for all he's done for Bulgaria and is still doing. Best luck to him and let the best man win!

Eddie Hearn deserves an award for transforming Derek Chisora into a PPV fighter. I don't know many fighters who lose 3 fights on the trot and get paid a lot of money to fight someone who beat him 8 years ago - Boxing fans will pay to watch you fight if you entertain.
hearn didnt do shit. chisora did it all on his own when hearn stuck him in with whyte and chisora and whyte put on the best HW fight of that year. Chisora is popular because of his attitude in the ring and his amusing personality. hes not boring like AJ so hearn did nothing. Hearn uses him for money and thats all
Hey Captain Rhodes - you must have missed the last line of my comment but the platform and promotional team are a large part of his success he’s not doing anything he hasn’t done his whole career - he only had one UK PPV fight (2012) before signing with Matchroom… before joining matchroom list the number of shows Chisora headlined (name first on the billboard) or was the A side on his own show…. I’ll wait 😂
@@FrancoJJameson chisora built his reputation over many years of hard work. fighting vitali and giving a great performance, brawling with david haye in a legendary press conference and putting in consistent solid performances. the reson he started getting big was because of his performances, not because of hearn. hearn only jumped on him after he made it himself. This is something hearns fanboys dont understand. they think because their hero stands next to a boxer it means he made their career.
Derek was given anything. He openly took it himself. He's entertaining in and out of the ring. He can sell a fight well.

To be honest this is what boxing needs
When Chisora was dropped vs Parker in his last fight, he went to the ropes to recover. His punch resistance seemed to be deteriorating but Parker smothered his work and couldn't finish it. Pulev is a fast long puncher. When he tags Derek I think he will hurt him and probably stop him. Needs a strong ref to make sure Del doesn't take another long sustained beating
Pulev does not have that movement anymore a lot lot slower 50/50 fight now

Some people can enjoy that, and I don't mind the "sweet science" but I don't enjoy a lack of punches being thrown.
