My wife and I were there for one night in 2018 when we went to Paris. Loved every inch of the town that we saw. Next time we'd love to spend 3 or 4 nights. It really is pretty as a picture, like a fairytale town come to life. The mix of German and French architecture is breathtaking. Great history here, too.

The best videos on internet in terms of photography, scene setting and the history of obscure monuments that we just walk by with ever knowing them.
I have seen all of these videos on treadmill, beats all the commercial videos available on these machines. Thank you.

This is not french architecture. It's german. Straßburg and the Alsace was once occupied by the french. For 1000 years it has nothing to do with France. In the 1970s almost every citizen in Straßburg has spoken german. Then they have lost their language.

Half-timbered houses are found everywhere in northern France, It is French architecture as well. Check out Troyes, Tours, Rouen. France have several types of architecture, from Nice to Saint-Malo, Its very diverse

This city is a mixture of France and Germany. It has both French and German architecture and atmosphere.

The paradox is that the prettiest French city at street level was built by the Germans. 🙃
