The thing that bugs me is that Roblox WANTED people to make their own events, and now that RB Battles is here, they haven't said a thing. Roblox needs to express more to the community and not just for their part, but for everyone.

Honestly a big name company has to tell Roblox something like “If you don’t start promoting players events we wont sponsor you” or something cause if they wont realize how we are feeling about it there going to start getting a lot of hate and start downgrading until they cant profit from players or creators events that they dont have anymore players or creators that they have to start looking to us and asking us how we can start playing the game again.
Yeah that would be nice, but there is just one thing, big name companies don’t care about another companies communities unless that companies community gets really heated. This will probably just tell the big name company to not sponsor roblox instead of the big name company telling roblox to satisfy their community.
I could honestly go on for days about all of the bad decisions and updates Roblox has made over the past year or so, but I’m only going to say one thing. Even though Roblox is making bad updates, they know that players are going to come back and spend more money because the website is basically run by the community. You may be thinking, “That’s how it’s supposed to be”, but what I mean is that Roblox used to do actually SOMETHING to run their own website. For example, the egg hunts. They used to put out good events, but now the only events are by Roblox are sponsors. Anyway, certain Roblox games are so addicting that Roblox KNOWS that players are almost *ALWAYS* going to come back and spend more money. That’s how they have made so many bad updates and gotten away with it.
This whole "wanting to be mature" thing is ruining Roblox. It is like they want to be this " Realistic and Mature game" but they don't realize it kills the " Blocky, Fun, and Enjoyable game" that we actually play Roblox for.
The only reason I’m still in the roblox community is because of two things: The fact I have spent an unnecessary amount of money on it, but also the fact that communities in the roblox’s overall anarchy are good for the most part. TH-camr communities, book communities, other games branching out. Otherwise, I’d throw it in the garbage and never look back
I agree, I was so confused when I didn't see anything about RB battles on the roblox website, and I asked my friends 90% of them didn't know what RB battles was. I wish these events would be promoted more and that Roblox will host more and fun events. Don't get me wrong, Roblox has billions of players, but I feel like they are losing a ton of players for many reasons. One reason being they don't advertise these events, and a week after it ends and people just find out most get super frustrated. I also think we can all agree with this, a lot of the games all over roblox are shutting down and losing players due to the music issue. I understand that roblox was sued for the copyright, but maybe there could be an alternative. I mean, there are a lot of music IDs that's where made for roblox, like the roblox Christmas song, or songs that aren't from billion dollar music companies, some people create their own super songs purposeful for roblox, and we can't even use those anymore, I feel like if there was another way us players could listen to the songs we like in game, without roblox getting sued for copyright that it will bring back the population of roblox players, and devs who quit making games because Roblox removed and privated so many roblox songs. This doesn't help games that need those, for instance, dancing, and gymnastics, and ice skating games, there are even singing games, or games like ro beats that need those songs to keep there game up and running. Putting that aside, another thing that's hurting the community that kreek didn't mention is the lack of socialization Roblox had for there community, I mean we use to have the egg hunts, and this brought lots of people together, and helped promote different types of games on roblox, I mean especially now with still slightly being in a Pamdiemc if you have to stay home because you have COVID, or the world wide quarantine from 2019-2021 we need those small events to keep us going, and even though it may not show these things help people struggling with things going on in there lives they get to take a minute and step back out of the real world to a world were you Don't have to pretend to be yourself. I have felt this many times, when I'm play roblox or doing roblox events and then reconnect to reality it gives me hours to spend and focus on making myself happy, and then coming back and thinking wow is that really me? But, isn't that what Roblox is about? Coming together, making new friends, and just escaping for world troubles even just for a few minutes? Bringing these events back can change the community for the better. I'm just a roblox player and I see these changes happening everywhere, I hope that means something. Please blow this comment up so Kreek will see and maybe make a video to roblox about doing something about these problems. P. S I'm the person for a few years ago who said I had a cake with your face on it for my birthday.
I am honestly really surprised and proud that Kreek understands that helping Terabrite and Russo out is more important than being in the Star Creator Program, and I am all sure we can agree than RB Battles has brought the community together and it is honestly the one of best events ever. Being one of the biggest Roblox content creators ever, I hope that this will deal a big enough blow to Roblox and I hope they can help RB Battles reach its full potential, I am proud of you Kreek! You have absolutely earned everyone's respect.
I say it’s very upsetting. Roblox actually wanted players and developers to make events, but they never gave the tools and the money forget about it and they don’t like support it.
At the end of the day Kreek you're right I agree on your opinion to the star program being put to the side and rather spreading random events to the people, that no one likes. And Roblox should take to notice that DJ, Sabrina, and Russo are spending 100's and thousands of dollars just to make us the Roblox Community happy. The sad thing is that they DO NOT care. Unless developers are willing to risk their income source by boycotting Roblox and making it unappealing to big corporations, Roblox will continue to go for the people who pay them the most, regardless of who they are.
One thing that really, really, REALLY grinds my gears about roblox is their lack of connection to all of us developers. I can't stand the fact that we have no way of communicating to the very platform we have put blood sweat and tears into pushing out to become bigger. You literally have to know and talk to an admin just to get tiny little really frustrating bugs and glitches fixed, and when it comes to your game being popular, there's no support on their end about it. Just income. It just feels like they just wanna put the salt in the wound. They prioritize big corporate business updates and collabs but don't give a crap about the crucial structure that is developers and youtubers alike.
2023 will be the year Roblox players take our stand. This is seriously important and we need to do something about it. This may mark the start of the Great Roblox War. I love making things sound dramatic
Kreek really has balls of steel for standing up for the community against a multi billion dollar company, it really just shows that he cares so much about this game and the entire community.
To be honest, I only saw RB Battles on my recommendation around 2 weeks into the event and I was very upset! I love RB Battles so much! Plus, all the event games have so many visits already, and it’s very annoying how these things like RB Battles are firstly using their own money for all of this, and secondly, the lack of advertisements that these games get because they only think the more expensive companies are way more important than their own community.
I only knew about RB Battles this year (I mean 2022). It was when you started talking about it a bit before it start. I want to thank you for that because it is the greatest event I've seen and "participated" by gettin the badges, and I've also discovered amazing youtubers, Russo and Terabrite, and all the contestants of this season. Without that, I wouldn't even know about this wonderful event. (I didn't vote because it was too late btw and I'm sad lol). It's sad that roblox don't even care that their community loving this event. Like, without you I don't think I would know that RB Battles was here. And not thanks to them. They really need to do something about this, because any event about roblox matter, and deserve to be known, like RB Battles (mostly RB Battles for the amout of dollars they spent and all the work for this to happen). This is exactly why I was late to the event, despite my absolute love for every single event like this (I treasure my key wings, antlers, the crystal glasses, and all those event items) I had no clue anything was going on because there was no indication of the event on the site. Because of this, I couldn't get any of the special items for the bits, and had to do a lot of catch up. Personally I don't mind, but I thought the special purple bit looked cool, oh well. Heck, the only reason I even knew was because of the event banner on Built a boat in my recently played, and even then it took me a few days after that discovery to realize that RBB 3 was going on. I wish Roblox would do more events like this, or at least promote these big events more. I am extremely disappointed.

I cant really say anything, 7 year anniversary of me joining roblox and uh, I’m gonna say i miss it, the egg hunts, old games, old accessory’s, playing tycoons and obbies, lucky block prison life jailbreak all of it bro. I miss it.

Great point to make Kreek. I have worked at Roblox for awhile and we do listen to youtubers. But over the last 5-6 years i have seen a decline in willingness to make events and prizes or just time into the website in general. The idea of having RB Battles officiated has been brought up but constantly denied since it was made by the community instead of Roblox event organisors. We have thought about upgrading the star program in some form of a quantity of robux weekly/minthly to be given out towards fans through youtubers but the idea got tossed away and forgotten. We do have some staffthat dont quite like RB Battles being officiated on Roblox but these "High status billionaire corporates" pay a lot of money to have an event on Roblox. Anyway we are hoping to see an improvement in the content that we put out, but it is always up to 'Higher ups' to choose if it is allowed or not.
If you felt the need to leave the star program, then it’s your choice. I understand this whole Roblox thing, I’m really disappointed that they don’t do anything for RB battles. If Roblox would let us make “our own events”, I think this will happen throughout. Roblox needs to know not all of us want advertising as events, we need a fun event but they've removed them. When they're not helping with fun events, its a hide downfall for Roblox because I joined for the egg hunts. For once, i think Kreek’s complaints actually make sense, I think Roblox needs to start paying attention to RB Battles or at least help them pay for some items or pay russo, sabrina or DJ. I feel like Roblox genuinely doesn’t care as long as their getting money from it. Even tho their not! The RB battles creators really spend all their money making these! They spent every second of the day just to make the animations, cutscenes and edits! And paying the games devs to add RB Battles bits, and so much more! Kreek has a massive point. RB Battles was one of the most biggest live events ever. And Roblox just doing that is extremely bad. Literally someone random would probably log into Roblox just to play the RB Battles because they thought it was cool seeing others play. And Roblox not showing one of if not, the biggest live events ever to happen to Roblox is just rude to the people who spent thousands of dollars on it. Wow Roblox, wow.
I 100% agree with you. It’s so sad yet infuriating that developers and youtubers spend all this money and work so hard for their event to just be pushed aside by roblox. Roblox is all about creating a community & boosting creativity, and them disregarding RB Battles is a huge step backward. i completly agree w this i have considered quitting multple times bc of how greedy roblox is. and the fact that they could possible get back on track again w events and they just didnt. it truly showes how greedy roblox sometimes can be edit: thx guys so much for 135 likes ! i have never had this much :)
IKR! They wouldn’t even put RB battles in the event section!! I really do not think anyone even plays Walmart land or any of that stuff unless they are getting something out of playing it. I’m actually really disappointed
What happens is when these platforms and businesses are small, they become more interactive with there communities so they can bring more users into their business/platform, but when they get very big, they stop interacting with there community because they are already making enough money to use bigger businesses for bad promotions over money. ROBLOX has just become more greedy due to there money flow. Sorry kreek and RB Battles.
Great video Kreek! I 100% agree with what your saying. It’s super sad to see Roblox say for years how they want the community to put on these events, while Roblox steps back from hosting events. While then not helping or promoting their community. I know there are a lot of admins who agree with this also, and like you said the disconnect comes from the top. The issue, I’m guessing, is that the meaning of events have changed internally at Roblox. All these massive corporations are paying millions of dollars to Roblox to be on Roblox, “events” are now just corporate speak for paid advertising. I wish Roblox would work with / support the community and developers on these events, but tbh I don’t see that happening anytime soon.

After the egg hunt was removed the events on Roblox were not good at all. he bad events are probably the reason Roblox is doing horribly right now. And I’m sure people have noticed that the bad events that are being promoted have almost no players in them, it’s like all Roblox cares about these days is the money that they receive which I can’t really blame them for that (even though I kinda am rn).

I understand where you are coming from. Roblox should at least express that RB Battles is even a thing. If you don't watch yt or have social media then the average roblox player would have no idea what RB battles is. I noticed this and I said the same thing. Rbb has really boosted my views and retention and I'm so thankful for the event, and its such a shame what roblox is turning into. its all in the advertizing department when it comes to this stuff. I am almost certain that the events that have appeared gave roblox a paycheck for it to be under the events tab. Hopefully the money doesn't get to roblox's head.
@Marco and Matteo The Hog Rider card is unlocked from the Spell Valley (Arena 5). He is a very fast building-targeting, melee troop with moderately high hitpoints and damage. He appears just like his Clash of Clans counterpart; a man with brown eyebrows, a beard, a mohawk, and a golden body piercing in his left ear who is riding a hog. A Hog Rider card costs 4 Elixir to deploy. Strategy His fast move speed can boost forward mini tanks like an Ice Golem in a push. At the same time, he can also function as a tank for lower hitpoint troops such as Goblins as he still has a fair amount of health. Most cheap swarms complement the Hog Rider well, as they are nearly as fast as him and usually force more than one card out of the opponent's hand. The Hog Rider struggles with swarms, as they can damage him down and defeat him quickly while obstructing his path. Barbarians in particular can fully counter him without very strict timing on the defender's part, though be wary of spells. A Hunter can kill the Hog Rider in 2 hits if placed right on top of it. However, if you place something in front of the Hog Rider, the Hunter's splash will damage the Hog Rider and hit the card in front of it more. The Hog Rider in conjunction with the Freeze can surprise the opponent and allow the Hog Rider to deal much more damage than anticipated, especially if the opponent's go-to counter is a swarm, or swarms are their only effective counter to him. Skeletons and Bats will immediately be defeated by the spell, while Spear Goblins, Goblins, and Minions will be at low enough health to be defeated by a follow up Zap or Giant Snowball. However, this strategy isn't very effective against buildings as the Hog Rider will take a while to destroy the building, giving the opponent ample time to articulate another counter. Against non-swarm troops, it can deal a lot of damage during the freeze time, but this can allow the opponent to set up a massive counterpush. For this reason, players should either only go for a Hog Rider + Freeze when they have other units backing it up from a counterattack, or if the match is about to end and they need to deal as much damage as possible. It is not a good idea to send in a Hog Rider simply to destroy a building, especially if it is the only building targeting unit available, as defeating Crown Towers becomes substantially more difficult. Spells or simply waiting out the lifetime of the building are more effective. The exception to this is an Elixir Collector placed in front of the King's Tower. If a Hog Rider placed at the bridge, he can destroy the Collector for a positive Elixir trade, though the damage from both Princess Towers will usually mean he does not survive to deal any damage to them. However, if the opponent sends in defending troops, it can be an opportunity to gain spell damage value. In a deck with several low-cost cards, it might be worth it to simply send the Hog Rider against one building. These decks shuffle their card rotation quick enough, that they will arrive to their next Hog Rider before the next building arrives in the opponent's card rotation. Long-ranged troops like Musketeer and Flying Machine can snipe those buildings, preserving some of the Hog Rider's health, possibly allowing it to get some Tower damage. When there are buildings placed in the middle to counter the Hog Rider, understanding the placement of the Hog Rider and the type of building placed can help the Hog Rider to bypass certain buildings. Passive buildings such as spawners and Elixir Collector have a larger hitbox than defensive buildings; which means that if a passive building was placed 3 tiles away from the river in the middle of the opponent's side, then it is impossible for the Hog Rider to bypass that placement as the Hog Rider will get pulled to that building. Defensive buildings have a smaller hitbox than a passive building, which means if that if a defensive building was placed three tiles away from the river in the middle of the opponent's side, a Hog Rider placed at the very left or right side of the Arena may be able to bypass it due to its smaller hitbox. If the player has a building already placed down in the center of the arena, and the opponent tries to bypass it with a Hog Rider at the edge of the arena, they can use certain air troops to push the Hog Rider towards the building as it jumps over the river, effectively denying the bypass attempt. They must be already hovering over the correct placement, as very quick reflexes are required to correctly perform this technique. For Bats, Skeleton Dragons, and Minion Horde, they should be placed right in front of the Hog Rider as soon as it is deployed. For Minions, Skeleton Barrel, Mega Minion, Flying Machine, Electro Dragon, Baby Dragon, Inferno Dragon, Balloon, and Lava Hound, stagger the above placement one tile to the right if the Hog Rider is placed on the left side of the arena, and vice versa. They can also use ground troops to achieve the same result. Something like an Ice Golem deployed at the Hog Rider’s landing spot will obstruct his path and force him to go around the unit, which causes him to be closer to the building instead of the Crown Tower. The Hog Rider can kite Very Fast non-building targeting troops due to his own Very Fast speed and building only targeting if he is placed on the fourth tile from the bridge, slightly into the opposite lane. He can also stall grounded units when placed right at the bridge. He will pull them towards him while deploying, and then be untargetable by them when he jumps over the bridge. After landing, he will pull them back. This can be useful when the player needs to deal damage in the same lane they are defending. It will also help separate troops behind a tank in a large push. A Tornado placed on the second tile front of the player's King's Tower and staggered two tiles towards the Princess Tower will activate it without any damage dealt to the Princess Tower, helping them in defending future pushes. This can also be a method of mitigating all damage dealt to a Princess Tower, but doing this more than three times may result in the King's Tower's health being low enough to be targeted directly, opening up the possible threat of a back door three crown. A better alternative is to pull the Hog away from the Princess Tower into the attacking range of all three Crown Towers, which will negate all damage as long as none of them are already distracted A very powerful combo is the Hog Rider, the Musketeer, and the Valkyrie, typically referred to as the Trifecta. The Musketeer will defend against most troops, while the Valkyrie can protect her and the Hog Rider from swarms or high damage units. The Hog Rider is used to deal damage to the tower. This can be effectively countered by Lightning, one-shotting the Musketeer and severely damaging both the Valkyrie and Hog Rider. The Minion Horde is also effective, but the enemy can Zap them and the Musketeer will one-shot them all. Even if the Musketeer is defeated, the Hog Rider and Valkyrie will have enough time to severely damage the Tower. The Hog Rider should be placed behind the Valkyrie to give it a boost so that it stays in front of the Hog Rider, protecting it. A Hog Rider combined with a Goblin Barrel can be awkward for the opponent to defend against. Timing it so that the Hog Rider is tanking the tower shots for the Goblins is the most effective way to deal damage. However, a Barbarian Barrel can shut this down with minimal Tower damage for a positive Elixir trade, as long as the Goblin Barrel was placed directly on the Tower. Pairing the Hog Rider with the Balloon can deal devastating damage. If executed properly, the Hog Rider will act as a tank while the Balloon threatens to deal massive damage. The Hog Rider can also destroy any buildings attempting to slow down the combo. However, this combo is very vulnerable to swarms and anti-air cards as neither of the troops target anything but buildings. Additionally, they are easy to separate, due to the disparity in move speeds. Alternatively, the Hog Rider and the Balloon can be played in different lanes to spread the opponent's defenses thin. However, a building or Tornado can bring them back together for an easier defense. The Hog Rider can be paired with the Lumberjack as both a swarm bait and damage combo. It is a very fast combo with an extremely high damage output potential, so the enemy will likely try to counter it with a swarm. If this happens, use a spell like Arrows to render the opponent defenseless. If they manage to defeat the Lumberjack, the dropped Rage will make the Hog Rider even more dangerous than it normally is. A fast and deadly combination is the Hog Rider and Mini P.E.K.K.A. combo. Both units are fast but the Mini P.E.K.K.A. does much more damage and does not attack only buildings so the Mini P.E.K.K.A. can deal with troops like the Executioner and Musketeer. However, this combo can be defeated with swarms like Skeleton Army, which will defeat both of them since neither of them can deal area damage. They are also unable to target air troops, so the Minion Horde can stop this easily. A risky play is to deploy the Hog Rider at the bridge as soon as the match starts. If the opponent does not react fast enough, the Hog Rider will deal a significant amount of damage to the Princess Tower. This can also allow the player to quickly scout the opponent's deck if they happen to react to him fast enough

Massive respect for Kreek who would sacrifice his partnership with Roblox to help other creators. I really do think Roblox should be helping promote this event. It truly angers me that a little advertisement to get some bucks, won over something much, much more important and the people who created the rb battles event has SPENT REAL MONEY just for Roblox to just retweet, like, post about the event for a few days, without even actually PROMOTING it in the platform that was used. Aka the Roblox platform. Oh my goodness gracious I'm gonna have a gosh damn seizure. I don't watch RB battles a lot but I truly know that they worked their butts of to morning, and night. And it's been like that for 2 years. I just hope Roblox can understand that.

I have experienced a lot more in the 2020/2019 stages then now, I had no idea this was a thing, even in 2019, until it started this year, roblox used to actually care about it’s players, not just the money which made me way happier in 2019 / 2020. I could see the emotion in kreeks eyes that I’ve never seen before, which tells me even youtubers are being treated poorly, he had more disspare in his eyes then the audio being removed, Rthro and more! I watch kreek a lot and I know that he feels highly angry. The fact I never knew they spent 20k on this and roblox isn’t even supporting it, they only support the sponsors, I wish I had an Easter hunt in roblox, I wouldn’t be surprised at this point if the whole starcode progam only had 30 people, it’s ridiculous and I think kreek should quit if he’s want to.. Sorry if some of these paragraphs don’t make sense.
I didn't even know about it until December 8th. I didn't even vote either since by the time I saw it, the episode was already out and Piggy already had the integration. They said and I quote "Vote before Dec. 8th to get a chance of getting [insert the 2 items]." Roblox didn't promote (in the events section) it so I didn't even know.
As SOMEONE that knows the past RB Battles, I never knew the 3rd one even started until New Years. I don't use twitter that much and I never see anything RB Battles related on the Roblox website, this is just disappointing.

Kreek you said it yourself, Roblox doesn't do events anymore. They only do sponsored events, I may not know how they do sponsored events but I would guess that you pay Roblox to put your game or whatever on Roblox. So I would assume that they would treat rb battles the same, and rb battles would have to buy a sponsorship with Roblox. I may be wrong, like probably completely wrong.

I have played Roblox since 2016 for almost every day. I had no idea what RB Battles was until this video, I have come across your videos about RB Battles from time to time and I thought it was some Roblox Rap Battle thing so I didn’t bother to watch them. If it was in the event page I would have probably at least checked what it was.
The sad part is if the members go on leave they could easily replace any member because they don’t care about us the people that bring them income people that make them a massive corporation .

Sometimes, some large platforms need proper treatment to put them in their place and remind them who made them large in the first place. Right now, I have issues with Roblox and TH-cam. I know it won’t happen because audiences are too large, but if everyone agreed to stop using those platforms for say, a long period of time, it would start to kill those platforms and force them into begging for their audiences back.
I personally am not doing the RB battles event this year because I don’t like any of the new items and I also just don’t really care that much about the event, but I do think it’s wrong to not sponsor something that people are paying for with their own money to benefit the game they enjoy. Sadly, it’s not too surprising that they sponsor big names instead of minor fan made events because big names are more profitable than fan made events and I guess they just don’t care about the things they think are less profitable.
Remembering the times when Roblox used to do amazing events like egg hunt 2018 and RPO really makes me even more disappointed in how bad Roblox events have gotten over the past few years just because of them putting big corporations over the community. Even smaller events like the labyrinth event were so amazing back then because they were actually involved with Roblox devs and the community.
My respect for Kreekcraft has instantly increased. After this, I'm inclined to follow him more than ever. Everything Kreek says is so reasonable and I completely understand why he's doing this, let's hope that Roblox might FINALLY listen.

I could honestly go on for days about all of the bad decisions and updates Roblox has made over the past year or so, but I’m only going to say one thing. Even though Roblox is making bad updates, they know that players are going to come back and spend more money because the website is basically run by the community. You may be thinking, “That’s how it’s supposed to be”, but what I mean is that Roblox used to do actually SOMETHING to run their own website. For example, the egg hunts. They used to put out good events, but now the only events are by Roblox are sponsors. Anyway, certain Roblox games are so addicting that Roblox KNOWS that players are almost *ALWAYS* going to come back and spend more money. That’s how they have made so many bad updates and gotten away with it.

I agree, I was so confused when I didn't see anything about RB battles on the roblox website, and I asked my friends 90% of them didn't know what RB battles was. I wish these events would be promoted more and that Roblox will host more and fun events. Don't get me wrong, Roblox has billions of players, but I feel like they are losing a ton of players for many reasons. One reason being they don't advertise these events, and a week after it ends and people just find out most get super frustrated. I also think we can all agree with this, a lot of the games all over roblox are shutting down and losing players due to the music issue. I understand that roblox was sued for the copyright, but maybe there could be an alternative. I mean, there are a lot of music IDs that's where made for roblox, like the roblox Christmas song, or songs that aren't from billion dollar music companies, some people create their own super songs purposeful for roblox, and we can't even use those anymore, I feel like if there was another way us players could listen to the songs we like in game, without roblox getting sued for copyright that it will bring back the population of roblox players, and devs who quit making games because Roblox removed and privated so many roblox songs. This doesn't help games that need those, for instance, dancing, and gymnastics, and ice skating games, there are even singing games, or games like ro beats that need those songs to keep there game up and running. Putting that aside, another thing that's hurting the community that kreek didn't mention is the lack of socialization Roblox had for there community, I mean we use to have the egg hunts, and this brought lots of people together, and helped promote different types of games on roblox, I mean especially now with still slightly being in a Pamdiemc if you have to stay home because you have COVID, or the world wide quarantine from 2019-2021 we need those small events to keep us going, and even though it may not show these things help people struggling with things going on in there lives they get to take a minute and step back out of the real world to a world were you Don't have to pretend to be yourself. I have felt this many times, when I'm play roblox or doing roblox events and then reconnect to reality it gives me hours to spend and focus on making myself happy, and then coming back and thinking wow is that really me? But, isn't that what Roblox is about? Coming together, making new friends, and just escaping for world troubles even just for a few minutes? Bringing these events back can change the community for the better. I'm just a roblox player and I see these changes happening everywhere, I hope that means something. Please blow this comment up so Kreek will see and maybe make a video to roblox about doing something about these problems.

To be honest, I only saw RB Battles on my recommendation around 2 weeks into the event and I was very upset! I love RB Battles so much! Plus, all the event games have so many visits already, and it’s very annoying how these things like RB Battles are firstly using their own money for all of this, and secondly, the lack of advertisements that these games get because they only think the more expensive companies are way more important than their own community.
I only knew about RB Battles this year (I mean 2022). It was when you started talking about it a bit before it start. I want to thank you for that because it is the greatest event I've seen and "participated" by gettin the badges, and I've also discovered amazing youtubers, Russo and Terabrite, and all the contestants of this season. Without that, I wouldn't even know about this wonderful event. (I didn't vote because it was too late btw and I'm sad lol).
It's sad that roblox don't even care that their community loving this event. Like, without you I don't think I would know that RB Battles was here. And not thanks to them. They really need to do something about this, because any event about roblox matter, and deserve to be known, like RB Battles (mostly RB Battles for the amout of dollars they spent and all the work for this to happen).

This is exactly why I was late to the event, despite my absolute love for every single event like this (I treasure my key wings, antlers, the crystal glasses, and all those event items) I had no clue anything was going on because there was no indication of the event on the site. Because of this, I couldn't get any of the special items for the bits, and had to do a lot of catch up. Personally I don't mind, but I thought the special purple bit looked cool, oh well. Heck, the only reason I even knew was because of the event banner on Built a boat in my recently played, and even then it took me a few days after that discovery to realize that RBB 3 was going on. I wish Roblox would do more events like this, or at least promote these big events more. I am extremely disappointed.

Great point to make Kreek. I have worked at Roblox for awhile and we do listen to youtubers. But over the last 5-6 years i have seen a decline in willingness to make events and prizes or just time into the website in general. The idea of having RB Battles officiated has been brought up but constantly denied since it was made by the community instead of Roblox event organisors. We have thought about upgrading the star program in some form of a quantity of robux weekly/minthly to be given out towards fans through youtubers but the idea got tossed away and forgotten. We do have some staffthat dont quite like RB Battles being officiated on Roblox but these "High status billionaire corporates" pay a lot of money to have an event on Roblox. Anyway we are hoping to see an improvement in the content that we put out, but it is always up to 'Higher ups' to choose if it is allowed or not.
If you felt the need to leave the star program, then it’s your choice. I understand this whole Roblox thing, I’m really disappointed that they don’t do anything for RB battles.

Kreek has a massive point. RB Battles was one of the most biggest live events ever. And Roblox just doing that is extremely bad. Literally someone random would probably log into Roblox just to play the RB Battles because they thought it was cool seeing others play. And Roblox not showing one of if not, the biggest live events ever to happen to Roblox is just rude to the people who spent thousands of dollars on it. Wow Roblox, wow.

What happens is when these platforms and businesses are small, they become more interactive with there communities so they can bring more users into their business/platform, but when they get very big, they stop interacting with there community because they are already making enough money to use bigger businesses for bad promotions over money. It’s super sad to see Roblox say for years how they want the community to put on these events, while Roblox steps back from hosting events. While then not helping or promoting their community.
I know there are a lot of admins who agree with this also, and like you said the disconnect comes from the top.
The issue, I’m guessing, is that the meaning of events have changed internally at Roblox. All these massive corporations are paying millions of dollars to Roblox to be on Roblox, “events” are now just corporate speak for paid advertising.

After the egg hunt was removed the events on Roblox were not good at all. he bad events are probably the reason Roblox is doing horribly right now. And I’m sure people have noticed that the bad events that are being promoted have almost no players in them, it’s like all Roblox cares about these days is the money that they receive which I can’t really blame them for that (even though I kinda am rn).

Barbarians in particular can fully counter him without very strict timing on the defender's part, though be wary of spells. A Hunter can kill the Hog Rider in 2 hits if placed right on top of it. However, if you place something in front of the Hog Rider, the Hunter's splash will damage the Hog Rider and hit the card in front of it more. The Hog Rider in conjunction with the Freeze can surprise the opponent and allow the Hog Rider to deal much more damage than anticipated, especially if the opponent's go-to counter is a swarm, or swarms are their only effective counter to him. Skeletons and Bats will immediately be defeated by the spell, while Spear Goblins, Goblins, and Minions will be at low enough health to be defeated by a follow up Zap or Giant Snowball. However, this strategy isn't very effective against buildings as the Hog Rider will take a while to destroy the building, giving the opponent ample time to articulate another counter. Against non-swarm troops, it can deal a lot of damage during the freeze time, but this can allow the opponent to set up a massive counterpush. For this reason, players should either only go for a Hog Rider + Freeze when they have other units backing it up from a counterattack, or if the match is about to end and they need to deal as much damage as possible. It is not a good idea to send in a Hog Rider simply to destroy a building, especially if it is the only building targeting unit available, as defeating Crown Towers becomes substantially more difficult. Spells or simply waiting out the lifetime of the building are more effective. The exception to this is an Elixir Collector placed in front of the King's Tower. If a Hog Rider placed at the bridge, he can destroy the Collector for a positive Elixir trade, though the damage from both Princess Towers will usually mean he does not survive to deal any damage to them. However, if the opponent sends in defending troops, it can be an opportunity to gain spell damage value. In a deck with several low-cost cards, it might be worth it to simply send the Hog Rider against one building. These decks shuffle their card rotation quick enough, that they will arrive to their next Hog Rider before the next building arrives in the opponent's card rotation. Long-ranged troops like Musketeer and Flying Machine can snipe those buildings, preserving some of the Hog Rider's health, possibly allowing it to get some Tower damage. When there are buildings placed in the middle to counter the Hog Rider, understanding the placement of the Hog Rider and the type of building placed can help the Hog Rider to bypass certain buildings. Passive buildings such as spawners and Elixir Collector have a larger hitbox than defensive buildings; which means that if a passive building was placed 3 tiles away from the river in the middle of the opponent's side, then it is impossible for the Hog Rider to bypass that placement as the Hog Rider will get pulled to that building. Defensive buildings have a smaller hitbox than a passive building, which means if that if a defensive building was placed three tiles away from the river in the middle of the opponent's side, a Hog Rider placed at the very left or right side of the Arena may be able to bypass it due to its smaller hitbox. If the player has a building already placed down in the center of the arena, and the opponent tries to bypass it with a Hog Rider at the edge of the arena, they can use certain air troops to push the Hog Rider towards the building as it jumps over the river, effectively denying the bypass attempt. They must be already hovering over the correct placement, as very quick reflexes are required to correctly perform this technique. For Bats, Skeleton Dragons, and Minion Horde, they should be placed right in front of the Hog Rider as soon as it is deployed. For Minions, Skeleton Barrel, Mega Minion, Flying Machine, Electro Dragon, Baby Dragon, Inferno Dragon, Balloon, and Lava Hound, stagger the above placement one tile to the right if the Hog Rider is placed on the left side of the arena, and vice versa. They can also use ground troops to achieve the same result. Something like an Ice Golem deployed at the Hog Rider’s landing spot will obstruct his path and force him to go around the unit, which causes him to be closer to the building instead of the Crown Tower. The Hog Rider can kite Very Fast non-building targeting troops due to his own Very Fast speed and building only targeting if he is placed on the fourth tile from the bridge, slightly into the opposite lane. He can also stall grounded units when placed right at the bridge. He will pull them towards him while deploying, and then be untargetable by them when he jumps over the bridge. After landing, he will pull them back. This can be useful when the player needs to deal damage in the same lane they are defending. It will also help separate troops behind a tank in a large push. A Tornado placed on the second tile front of the player's King's Tower and staggered two tiles towards the Princess Tower will activate it without any damage dealt to the Princess Tower, helping them in defending future pushes. This can also be a method of mitigating all damage dealt to a Princess Tower, but doing this more than three times may result in the King's Tower's health being low enough to be targeted directly, opening up the possible threat of a back door three crown. A better alternative is to pull the Hog away from the Princess Tower into the attacking range of all three Crown Towers, which will negate all damage as long as none of them are already distracted A very powerful combo is the Hog Rider, the Musketeer, and the Valkyrie, typically referred to as the Trifecta. The Musketeer will defend against most troops, while the Valkyrie can protect her and the Hog Rider from swarms or high damage units. The Hog Rider is used to deal damage to the tower. This can be effectively countered by Lightning, one-shotting the Musketeer and severely damaging both the Valkyrie and Hog Rider. The Minion Horde is also effective, but the enemy can Zap them and the Musketeer will one-shot them all. Even if the Musketeer is defeated, the Hog Rider and Valkyrie will have enough time to severely damage the Tower. The Hog Rider should be placed behind the Valkyrie to give it a boost so that it stays in front of the Hog Rider, protecting it. A Hog Rider combined with a Goblin Barrel can be awkward for the opponent to defend against. Timing it so that the Hog Rider is tanking the tower shots for the Goblins is the most effective way to deal damage. However, a Barbarian Barrel can shut this down with minimal Tower damage for a positive Elixir trade, as long as the Goblin Barrel was placed directly on the Tower. Pairing the Hog Rider with the Balloon can deal devastating damage. If executed properly, the Hog Rider will act as a tank while the Balloon threatens to deal massive damage. The Hog Rider can also destroy any buildings attempting to slow down the combo. However, this combo is very vulnerable to swarms and anti-air cards as neither of the troops target anything but buildings. Additionally, they are easy to separate, due to the disparity in move speeds. Alternatively, the Hog Rider and the Balloon can be played in different lanes to spread the opponent's defenses thin. However, a building or Tornado can bring them back together for an easier defense. The Hog Rider can be paired with the Lumberjack as both a swarm bait and damage combo. It is a very fast combo with an extremely high damage output potential, so the enemy will likely try to counter it with a swarm. If this happens, use a spell like Arrows to render the opponent defenseless. If they manage to defeat the Lumberjack, the dropped Rage will make the Hog Rider even more dangerous than it normally is. A fast and deadly combination is the Hog Rider and Mini P.E.K.K.A. combo. Both units are fast but the Mini P.E.K.K.A. does much more damage and does not attack only buildings so the Mini P.E.K.K.A. can deal with troops like the Executioner and Musketeer. However, this combo can be defeated with swarms like Skeleton Army, which will defeat both of them since neither of them can deal area damage. They are also unable to target air troops, so the Minion Horde can stop this easily. A risky play is to deploy the Hog Rider at the bridge as soon as the match starts. If the opponent does not react fast enough, the Hog Rider will deal a significant amount of damage to the Princess Tower. This can also allow the player to quickly scout the opponent's deck if they happen to react to him fast enough

Massive respect for Kreek who would sacrifice his partnership with Roblox to help other creators. I really do think Roblox should be helping promote this event. It truly angers me that a little advertisement to get some bucks, won over something much, much more important and the people who created the rb battles event has SPENT REAL MONEY just for Roblox to just retweet, like, post about the event for a few days, without even actually PROMOTING it in the platform that was used. I have experienced a lot more in the 2020/2019 stages then now, I had no idea this was a thing, even in 2019, until it started this year, roblox used to actually care about it’s players, not just the money which made me way happier in 2019 / 2020.
I could see the emotion in kreeks eyes that I’ve never seen before, which tells me even youtubers are being treated poorly, he had more disspare in his eyes then the audio being removed, Rthro and more! I watch kreek a lot and I know that he feels highly angry.

I didn't even know about it until December 8th. I didn't even vote either since by the time I saw it, the episode was already out and Piggy already had the integration. They said and I quote "Vote before Dec. 8th to get a chance of getting [insert the 2 items]." Roblox didn't promote (in the events section) it so I didn't even know.

As SOMEONE that knows the past RB Battles, I never knew the 3rd one even started until New Years. I don't use twitter that much and I never see anything RB Battles related on the Roblox website, this is just disappointing.

Kreek you said it yourself, Roblox doesn't do events anymore. They only do sponsored events, I may not know how they do sponsored events but I would guess that you pay Roblox to put your game or whatever on Roblox. So I would assume that they would treat rb battles the same, and rb battles would have to buy a sponsorship with Roblox. I may be wrong, like probably completely wrong.

I have played Roblox since 2016 for almost every day. I had no idea what RB Battles was until this video, I have come across your videos about RB Battles from time to time and I thought it was some Roblox Rap Battle thing so I didn’t bother to watch them. If it was in the event page I would have probably at least checked what it was.

Sometimes, some large platforms need proper treatment to put them in their place and remind them who made them large in the first place. Right now, I have issues with Roblox and TH-cam. I know it won’t happen because audiences are too large, but if everyone agreed to stop using those platforms for say, a long period of time, it would start to kill those platforms and force them into begging for their audiences back.

I personally am not doing the RB battles event this year because I don’t like any of the new items and I also just don’t really care that much about the event, but I do think it’s wrong to not sponsor something that people are paying for with their own money to benefit the game they enjoy. Sadly, it’s not too surprising that they sponsor big names instead of minor fan made events because big names are more profitable than fan made events and I guess they just don’t care about the things they think are less profitable.
There should be a place where we the fans can help fund Rb battles

Remembering the times when Roblox used to do amazing events like egg hunt 2018 and RPO really makes me even more disappointed in how bad Roblox events have gotten over the past few years just because of them putting big corporations over the community. Even smaller events like the labyrinth event were so amazing back then because they were actually involved with Roblox devs and the community.
My respect for Kreekcraft has instantly increased. After this, I'm inclined to follow him more than ever. Everything Kreek says is so reasonable and I completely understand why he's doing this, let's hope that Roblox might FINALLY listen.
Roblox: Here we will do these events with you billion dollar companies, sure! RB battles: We spend 100k on our game can you please at least put it in the event section? Roblox: nope. You spend nowhere near the amount you should. Get lost!
Back on season 1 and 2(not sure for s2 but) roblox put rb battles in the events. But now? Well no.
Last season they promoted the event, but this time they're like telling players that they don't care about this huge event that planned by creators and developers😢
