Ha...I remember when we were kids and Mam went shopping and we’d always ask/demand ‘Bring us back a Busker Mam’.....it was always club milks though🤷🏻 BTW, the actress in the Tayto ad was Alison Doody
@@ahladsYou would be better off reading some social history instead of trolling people. The importance of factory jobs in Ireland, from the 1960's right through to the 1990's, cannot be overstated. They were usually the main employer in a town where the money earned was spent in the local economy. The cost of living hadn't gone through the roof and working hours were regulated with paid overtime during busy periods. There was also a social element as families got to know each other and interact through sport or community events. Many people are still friends after more than forty years since they worked together.
About the only thing im interested in coming from RTE. The little interest I have does not justify the 160 euro yearly TV License extortion, I could have seen these adds elsewhere on you tube. And Buskers sensational center was just biscuit
Those ads is there any older "Tayto crisps" advert then whats in that break, The Jacob's advert should be on the Jacob's Biscuits website. There adverts for Gateux Cakes, Hellemen's, Sadolin and many more.
The ads for specifically Irish brands tend to have an Irish voice over, but others are probably made for the UK and Ireland so tend to have a British voice over.
The busker advert was great used to loved these bars back in the 80"s for my school lunch I wish they didn't stop making them
Nostalgia! Glenroe followed by Don Cockburn reading the late evening news and up for school in the morning. Magic!
I remember it well Joe
Buskers were delicious. Bettered only by TEXAN bars. Sadly neither are around now

The voice overs seem very posh
