    It’s funny to see so many people has very little information on how manufacturing products works . Bitter truth my friends almost 80% of your beloved western tattoo machine brands makes their parts in China . I know mass productions can cause poor quality control but the truth is it’s your hand that makes the art great. Japanese People been tattooing with just some homebrew needles attached to the stick and making some phenomenal piece of art . A good artist can make good art with crappy machine. These machine would have been a dream for any artist just 10 years ago . ✌🏻✌🏻

    I‘m working with the same machine since about a year!
    I can say: Its the best budget tattoo machine!
    Its possible to open up the motor housing ( its threaded and secured with locktide)
    Once its opened, you can easily open to lubricate or change cam!

    • @prettyalrighttattoos

      Does the front unscrew from the center cuff (EXO logo)? I see you mentioned lock tight, which would make sense as you wouldn't want OT yo come off when adjusting the grip. I just don't want to risk damaging it without a little more insight. If you can provide it, of course. Please and thank you!

    • @inkbendertattoostudio
      @inkbendertattoostudio  ปีที่แล้ว

      Once you plug on the battery you'll see a blinking light next to the voltage display, if the battery is totally drained it'll start flashing in red, then it'll change to blue (still blinking) and finally it'll turn green, but as long as the light is still coming on and off it means that it hasn't charged completely, but once the light stays on in permanent green it's fully powered. I hope this helps

      @@inkbendertattoostudio legend. Thank you for the help. I don't need to, but that's actually my only beef with the machine. *if* you're not using carts with a membrane, or, you don't exercise proper cross contamination measures and TOUCH THE BACK OF YOUR CARTS WHILE WORKING, there can be a transfer of bodily fluids and ink in to the cam port. On the original too, I'm pretty sure you can't take that out, so your drive bar and subsequently the motor and housing can become permanently contaminated. I'm happy to see the new MAX clone has a hex screw that opens the housing to manage this and the cam/stroke. Have a great day! And thanks again. 🙏

    • @inkbendertattoostudio
      @inkbendertattoostudio  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @PrettyAlrightTattoo you're absolutely right about it. As long as one keeps the right procedures and avoids crossed contamination, there won't be no need for opening the motor chamber. You're welcome and thanked again for your words

      @robertsojka7262 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Not always. Chinese pens have some problems, with serial production and quality control but there are very good machines too. High end is high end because price is high end, not the parts, service, etc.

    • @inkbendertattoostudio
      @inkbendertattoostudio  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey bro, thanks for reaching out. All these"Exos" in these videos are clones. These are machine that look like the original on the outside, obviously with a different system inside(direct drive). That's the reason you can get them for a fraction of the Original price. However, the original can be easily told, even the box is different. Besides, you won't find the original anywhere else but in official distributors or in one of their stores. But to answer your question, the original machine comes with certain stickers on the box and on the machine itself the will to ell you it's the real one. Also the voltage display is different. The colonel goes up and down by a whole voltage ex: 7 to 8, and the original goes up and down by half voltage, ex: 7 to 7.5 to 8... And so on, besides the intermediate voltage lights flash when you reach half a voltage. I hope i was able to help. Please follow and share if it's not a bother. Thanks in advance

    Man u serious u put hair clipper oil? U know that its not good for plastic parts and if it reach the motor or electric terminals ull have a big problem?first i advice u to use superlube grease or silicon oil for plastic parts..also u are lubing in the video the cam bar this is not the motor shaft.. and one more point to open the machine u need to heat a little cz they use loctite so u heat where its closed after removing the orings and u need strong hands and it will open

    • @inkbendertattoostudio
      @inkbendertattoostudio  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah dude. I pretty serious about it. As far as I'm concerned there ain't no plastic parts within the motor chamber and the electric terminal are on the opposite side to the cam and the motor shaft. That said, if you are careful enough the oil drop will slip in through the cam bar and just settle on the right place. As for the superlube, i feel it's like using WD-40, yes it will lube, but also clean up the terminal too good making me to go back and lube again while clip oil being also friction resistant last longer. Sealant wise, it's there to prevent the parts to move due to vibration, so unless you're planning to seal it back again, i don't suggest to crack it open either strong hands or not, it's not a good idea. Thanks tho for your concern and wise words, i shall keep them for further reviews or any other fixings ahead. Stay blessed.
