To those saying this is fake Elvis... This is a demo by a session singer that Elvis would hear in the studio then if selected he would record his version... Btw Glen Campbell did a few demos like this for Elvis...The public was never supposed to hear this version.
Hi James and Pontus, I fully agree with Pontus Jonsson comment. Excellent version and I would be happy to listen to the integral version. Furthermore, I'm looking for Rare Demo acétates of songs from Dolores Fuller, Ben Weisman, Tepper and Bennett, Doc Pomus -Mort Schumann, Joy Byers,... having proposed to Elvis songs for his movies in early 60's.I 've just found your demos and I'm really happy. Thank you very much hoping to be able to get in touch with you. Philippe Chépine
Hi- sorry I haven’t replied . For some reason I never saw your comment. I found this and many other Brill Building demo acetates in a collection . All the Elvis related discs were sold on eBay. But I have a lot of the sheet music that was used by the musicians at the sessions. Let me know if you’re interested. Best, Jim
People these were the demons for elvis to hear sung by other studio singers in the style for elvis ok and yes it would be a err lvis Presley great done by the master
elvis was under contract to do these movies he must of hated it another song from the film is old mcdonald how degrading from 1956 singing hound dog to singing that must of been like a punch in the face thank good for the 68 comeback

Sad to say but this sounds better than the Elvis version, the singer here puts more effort to it, and sounds more interested, while the Elvis version sounds like he was not interested in singing it, he sounds annoyed, and the mix is awful, Elvis voice way too much in the front, in this demo acetate the sound is cool, the mix is good, it grooves
Thank you for letting us here this.I think it would have been a hit.

yes, this is a demo for Elvis to hear, but it obvious it is not him, due to the voice so different.
Yes, it's still not Elvis, the title of this video stipulates this is Elvis Presley.
@@Elvis-guy1973Unless the title has been edited, it says Elvis Presley related 👍

What type of cart and how much counterweight?
elvis version was in double trouble film soundtrack
I got his films and didn't realise Elvis sang this it would of been better if Elvis had done it more rock'n'roll than the soft film version

Would of been good if Elvis had done it, who is the singer sounds good in his own right
th-cam.com/video/-hfqWHPKOgY/w-d-xo.html - Elvis did. on the movie Double Trouble, he recorded the song on 1966/06/29.
This is a Demo that Elvis listen in the studio and chooses to record for his 1966 film Double Trouble
@user-dc1dw2np1w would of been better if he released a harder rock n roll version like this not just the film version
Not Elvis!
No kidding. What do you think a demo is?
