Truck Spotting on the A83 (Rest and Be Thankful) Scotland

Trucks on the section of the A83 known as the Rest and Be Thankful, in Argyll, Scotland. Includes Volvo, Scania, MAN, Renault, DAF and Mercedes lorries.
This was recorded in 1080p resolution with 60 frames per second as a test, ordinarily we record in 4k resolution with 30 frames per second. This makes the video smoother but slightly lower quality.

That's a great location you chose for your filming on an interesting road down to Kintyre. You even managed to film some impatient motorists; I bet they had harsh words about the tractor and excavator. Thank you for posting.

Thanks Colin, yep those impatient drivers are the reason that roads such as the A83 are some of the most dangerous in the country. And the poor tractor took about three minutes to crawl up the hill 🤣

I wish I had a £1 for every time I’ve been over that road tae Campbelltown, I would be a wealthy pensioner. Another fantastic video, loved the horn on the Merc 8 wheeler 😂😂, thanks again lads for this brilliant video from the Rest.

Hi,new sub here love the video McKerral and McKirdy wagons always stand out also Mundell good looking fleet, take care stay safe regards from Greenock remember back in the day Greenock had plenty. haulage companies but sadly no more,only crumb of comfort for me is Greenock Ocean Terminal plenty wagons out and in there, sorry for going on keep them coming📹🚛🚛🚙🎩
