Said before, but your interpretations of the songs seems very empathic. The lyrics are very moving too imo. Yes, I agree, it is about what we feel. The artist communicates a feeling and then we personalise it. I don't think we know what it is really about. If you add the numbers up in his birthdate (18.08.1988) it comes to 2014 - so maybe it is a song about his relationship with himself - the ep it is from is self-titled Kwon Ji-yong, so maybe. Maybe it is in some way to VIP's as the letters VIP appear in the clouds behind him at one point in the mv and he stands in front of the 'I'. He also had a relationship end in 2014 I think - maybe that. Some people say it is a song about Dara - maybe. Whatever - a beautiful, timeless song performed perfectly. They put 2 days aside for filming and it was done in 2 hours. It was not originally meant to be done at all as it last minute replaced "bullshit" as the album's lead single due to other circumstances. Sad about them, but grateful that we got this mv. The whole album is a mix between sad and hopeful, telling about who KJY is as opposed to GD and the difficulties that come with fame. There are only mv's for this and Bullshit. There are fan made mv's with eng subs for the other songs or live performances. Would be great if you could react to them. Divina commedia is sad in a slightly different way. YG Ent. said before the ep album release that GD had not written it for commercial success but as something he wanted to do. It still topped i-tunes charts in about 40 countries when it was released; including in the USA. It also topped Billboard world chart in USA and Billboard Japan.

This is such a sad but beautiful song. I guess you read the lyrics afterwards. It's even sadder when you know what he was singing. The "simple mv" is perfect, as there is nothing to detract from his voice and the emotional performance. We didn't warn you that it was a sad song because it's best not to have spoilers, and just let the experience hit you in the heart. When I said you were in for a treat you maybe thought you were going to hear a happy breezy tune? 😅
Oh no! If it comes to GD I'm always expecting sad stories xD But I haven't thought that his voice be so sad and soo touching :( I have read the lyrics, and we all feel that after a break-up. Especially when you love someone the most in the world. I know the feeling :( Ehh
