In this video I build the Tamiya BB-01 BBX Buggy chassis. It gets a Tamiya 15.5T brushless motor, TBLE-04SR Electronic Speed Controller and some nice Hop-Ups.
Just one question, with the spare tire shouldn't it be a rear tire assembly as in the real incident the back would go flat not front, and if the front did go flat it would sill be drivable!!!
@@ralphhowing3473 Good point lol. I think the supplied body mount for the spare wheel only works with a front tyre as it’s thinner. Would need to be a longer mount to accommodate the wider rear.
It’s hard to know what is good to see. I’m starting the body & paint next weekend and have a backlog of kits to build. Any special requests on content? Thanks for watching and commenting!
Awesome video! you showed a lot more of the important details of the build that other build videos I’ve seen have left out, which is great to see! Can’t wait to see what colour you paint it!👍👍
Thank you, it’s been out nearly a year so I tried to include the things to look out for and some standard stuff that’s always a first time for someone, including me. The paint & decals will really finish it off!
GPM make some incredible hop ups. I’m going to make my Bbx all black. Metal gear housing. Brushless motor.
That will look the business!
Awesome build. Great tips on the build.
Thanks Trey, it’s a great buggy!
