We always told our kids that if they didn’t come home messy from playing, they didn’t have any fun! I have played with powders before, but it’s always good to see how other people use the backgrounds. Using the colorful part as the shadow for a sentiment is a wonderful idea. Thanks so much for sharing.
WOW...Your "clean" designs are so much vibrant and exciting that what I've send a "clean". Its like you've allowed the freedom to still have unexpected colorful play w/n a modern clean design. Now I need to take my ken oliver stash and PLAY. THANKS FOR BEING SO SO INSPIRING.
@@ardyth thank you! I don’t say much, but I always enjoy listening and crafting. I’m so glad Harriette is willing to sponsor the Zoom meetings when her schedule permits.
very nice Ardyth, love the contrast at AAA Cards we define white space as empty not patterned not embossed or patterned paper, but I know CAS is defined differently all over the internet. I love the purple blue one the best for sure
Love that you always show us a few different ways to use our supplies. I never though of watercolouring with the pigment powders, but why not??? Those final two cards look AWESOME. Thanks for the inspiration, as always.
Oh my, such gorgeous cards, creative ideas and inspiring techniques! Loved them all, but the softer lavender mix florals the best! TY for sharing these!!🧑🏼🎨😀🤗💗
I love the way you always show us how to use products multiple ways! I don't think I can pick which card was may favorite, I think they are all so beautiful!
Oh my gosh! I don't know where I have been but I've never heard of watercolor powders. I absolutely love this technique, Ardyth. Thank you so much! Now, I must run to the store.....😂
Thanks so much - I also have trouble embracing unpredictability. Actually, I don't mind the unpredictability so much, but I do hate that I can't recreate some of them! lol! Thanks for watching!
Oh man, I'm still trying to resist - the thing that's keeping my wallet safe is that I can't choose which set I would want to start with! lol! Thanks for watching!
@Ardyth • WOW!!! You really covered a lot in this video. So first, yes, I agree the cards with the blue background are my favorite, too. I like your tip on using a sentiment with thick, chunky letters when you have a busy panel, whether created or pattern paper. Pulling out the black cardstock then offsetting it is a great solution for legibility. The use of the Stardust Stickles to enhance the white space around the blue/red/purple flower is great, not just on this card, but for upcoming winter/Christmas. I think too often we get in the rut of just using the shimmer for focus or to enhance individual elements. You've led us out of the rut onto a new field to explore. Great tip! Your tip and illustration on how to narrow down the tag was clear, inventive, and demonstrates the importance of balanced, proportional elements. Great technique & great tip. I can't decide whether I like the oblong for the "Hello" or the shadow for the "Thanks" better. Both elements change the background from too dark to dramatic. A technique I'll definitely need to remember. Finally, as I said at the beginning, the blue background card is my favorite. I think with the blooming flowers, the blue transports us to those warm but not humid summer days when the weather (and garden) seem to be perfect. I love the way you used the scalloped edge because the roundness compliments the flower. The script of "Hugs" is adorable, too. Now hopping off to visit Arjita Sepaha singh.
I wasn't sure about the last 2 cards...usually people cut panel on angle, I've not recalled it being cut in half, but they were my favorite too...and that's why I love your channel. Thank you Ardyth!
Hello from Illinois. WOW, these cards are awesome, colorful and beautiful. The powers are so much fun. On my craft list for Santa. I love them all, but my favorite is the gel press.
Fabulous cards, Ardyth - and I have had my eye on Crafty Meraki‘s stunning stamp since I first saw it. You‘re not helping :) Thank you for all the ideas! Kind regards from Germany, Nicola
Just last night I was looking through a bag of unfinished 'projects' and I found some white heat embossed images (hummingbirds) that I had forgotten about. I remember when I made them I had the intention of using watercolours with perfect pearl mixed in or something. I was sat admiring the beautiful image when my many bottles of magic powders jumped into my head!!..Can't wait to try them l out and see how it goes! Yours came out beautifully.
I really like this powdered ink look. I had never seen those before! For sure a learning video for me today! I also like the tip of using one end of dies to give a scallop edge. Pretty neat!
Thank you Ardyth! I just bought some powders for the first time and this has given me a lot of ways to use them. I am like you, I love clean and simple and I love to try new techniques. I so love all your videos.

Hi Ardyth. The black outline image was Absolutely stunning, I agree! I loved the last 2 cards the best though! I was wincing when you cut the images in half but Wow! I love the idea of making your coloring work stretch farther. Thanks for another great video!
There was a need for more tutorials on Watercolor Powders. Your video fit the void perfectly, TSM! I have shared it with my Papercraft Medley Facebook group.
LOL! Before you add to cart, try just smooshing onto a slick surface - the results are very similar (not that a gel press isn't fun! lol!) Enjoy! Thanks for watching!

love the speed and nonsense way you edit your videos. Liked the randomness of the first, the unpredictability (trying to embrace this more) thank you
