- We can all agree that Harry Potter did some pretty amazing things during his time at Hogwarts. He won the Triwizard Tournament as the youngest contestant by far, defeated Voldemort a bunch of times, and broke into and escaped from the impenetrable Gringotts. But I think we can also agree that he had a lot of help along the way. I mean, one of the most powerful students at the school just so happened to be one of his two best friends! I shutter to think where he might have been without their aid. You all know who I’m talking about, let’s say their name together…Ronald Weasley! Oh, not who you had in mind? You were thinking Hermione Granger? I mean, she was smart and everything, but Ron could literally see the future! Don't believe me? Watch on and I'll explain Ron Weasley's big secret in this Harry Potter theory!

Haha, you make a strong counterpoint, the Scabbers reveal certainly did catch Ron by surprise. All I can say is that Divination is highly unpredictable - Professor Trelawny certainly shows this - so maybe his inner eye just never looked in that direction. 🤔
I actually gave this a lot of thought. In every instance with scabbers, Ron specifically says he's "old, pathetic, and useless" but ONLY when referring to him by the name of "scabbers" or as a "rat."
Any time he is referred to in a more general sense, something pulls Ron's attention away before he can give a proper answer.
It's therefore totally possible that Scabbers he was exactly that.. useless. If we think about lore, it's entirely possible Peter having been a rat for so long, was stuck like that, being more animal than man, until Sirus reversed it.. and we then never see him become "Scabbers" again.
It's therefore totally possible that Scabbers being useless WAS actually Ron's unknown ability kicking in again. If kept a rat, he'd have been "useless and sickly."
He's never really focused on Scabbers for long periods anyways, making prediction harder. And even then, he accurately noticed Crookshank's focus, when others thought it crazy.
So who knows? Maybe he did predict something.
@Maholix that is true! Every time harry said something about Ron not even liking the rat after it got "killed by crookshanks" Ron did quickly change the subject. I thought it was just because of Ron feeling awkward but maybe it was due to divination uncomfortable. Still not 100% convinced but you make a decent point

@@alexmckee4683 but they are everywhere... even the golden boys from SuperCarlinBrothers have sort of got off the rails with their theorys. But they have made some cool ones as well, love thos boys.
But the rest is just terrible. Let the masterpiece be. We will have more theorys then the bible has soon...
