    Thankyou for the great tips Kim, you explained why it changes the photo really well. I never knew that about 18% grey. Have a great day❤❤

      Thank you so much, dear Jo! Yes the 18% grey is a bit of a game changer for exposure. I used to carry an 18% grey card with me to photo shoots to get the white balance/exposure as correct as I could! Thanks for stopping by to watch. Really appreciate you so much! 💖💖💖

    Thanks, Kim!! I have been using the tools (Android) to try to get the best representation of my coloring for posting. I never thought of taking the picture using natural lighting rather than the room lighting. I have a place to do that, just no blinds!! But directing the light onto the page is a real plus.

    When I did IG editing, I used all of those settings, but I don't remember finding the tilt ability. That was really cool! 👍 I do remember tips about making thumbnails very saturated to make them more eye-catching. Everyone's phone settings and age make such a difference, lol!! 😅 Thank you for the tips!! 🤗😍

    A Very useful video. I have used the editing on my iphone but you have given me steps to take in the best order. I just want my picture to look as good as it does in person😄I look back on some of my pictures on IG and they look so washed out😆 I almost always go outside to photograph . You gave me some wonderful tips. Thanks So Much! First video i have seen on this subject🙋❤👏👏👏👍

      Yay!! Always adjust exposure first! AND if you're going outside, take your picture in some outdoor shade...you'll get softer light there for sure. I'm so glad you liked this video, Valerie! Always appreciate you!! 💖💖💖

    Thanks! You answered a lot of the questions I have when photographing my pages. Do you have any other tips for staging? I have trouble with arching or curving in larger books; when the cover interferes with the image. I've tried clamping but when the image takes up the complete page most of my solutions interfere with the image.

    • @snickerdoodlingllc
      @snickerdoodlingllc  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      June, I'm so glad you found this video to be helpful! So when I have a book that is curving or won't lay flat, I usually put something under the left side of the book to prop those pages up almost vertically. (I use a pillow that's on my window seat in my kitchen). This forces the right side to lay flatter when the left side is tipped up. If the book is thick, you could maybe clamp the pages on the left side to keep them from flopping over to the right side you're trying to photograph. Would something like this help maybe? I hope I'm understanding what you're saying correctly. Please let me know what you think. Thank you for stopping by my little channel to watch this video. I truly appreciate you! 💖💖💖
