i’m glad they decided to have 3 killers in 6. however, if they do 3 killers again, the movie needs to be longer. the 3rd act felt a bit rushed and there wasn’t enough time to focus on all 3 killers. which is my biggest negative but it was definitely a good concept to have a family of killers, and i don’t even care they copied scream 2 cuz it’s set up way better.
See as much as I get your point here, I do think there's a give and take - maybe the film overall would've felt slower if that had happened? Honestly think there's pros and cons on both sides there
I think there's aspect of Stu no one thinks about. Look at how big his house is, think about how his parents are out of town during a murder spree, he's more scared of his parents being mad at him than prison or death. I think it's fair to say his childhood effected him heavily.
Stu is like the polar opposite of a ghostface who is pure evil and intent on killing. Stu’s personality is full of life and the class clown. It’s such a contrast. Stu is literally a true psychopath. That’s why he’s THE best ghostface. We’re still not sure why he did it? He said it was fun/peer pressure or was he in love with billy?
I never got the impression that Roman helped them plan their “Anniversary of Maureen’s Death” killing spree. I always thought he just fed Billy the info about his dad and Maureen in order to get him to kill Maureen for him. Then Billy, being the little psycho he was, ran with it and then planned his murder spree because he enjoyed killing so much. This still makes Billy the mastermind behind the Ghostface legacy, because Roman never gave him the idea to go after Sidney or use the costume. Roman just wanted Maureen dead and manipulated/pushed Billy to do it for him.

I agree with this for sure, it annoys me when people talk about Roman in a negative light and have this take. They don't understand that Roman didn't plan the events of Scream 1, just the murder of Maureen. With that being said, everything else flows just fine without interruption. NO WAY QUINN IS THAT LOW. I feel like she was by far the craziest out of her, Ethan, Richie & her father. Liana being that low is an insult. I'd put her above her whole family AND Amber (I preferred Quinn's crazy look to Amber's despite Amber was the main killer. Amber felt too cringy). Give Liana more credit. She gave off Baby Firefly vibes in Dig. She smiled after losing teeth won me over for her performance & paying homage to Freddy Kruger grinding her knife against the railing, duddeee. I can tell from the Kirsch-Bailey family: Maybe Richie, Wayne, Quinn and Ethan kind of represented the dark side of humanity and revenge where other than horror movies, they were curious about the wickedness and dark side of humanity and were bored with the normalcy and the STAB movies is what made the family find the murder and killings very exciting and wanted to seek revenge on people who seemed to be better than them. Much like Sam's struggles, the family knew they also had a much worse darkness in them but unlike Sam, they ended up using their darkness as their power and thrived on it. Unlike most ghostfaces, they straight up admit that they don't need a dark past to enjoy killing people, they just admit that they enjoy killing and murder and embrace themselves being sociopaths than deny it. They're kind of like Scream's Manson family.
I think all 3 of our ghostface had kills. Ethan did the apartment scene Killing Anika, he also did the Bodega scene, I just don't see Bailey getting there that fast. Detective bailey did the opening and killed the therapist. Quinn attacked Gale, killed gale's boyfriend, attacked Mindy, and possibly killed her own hookup

(Thought he was lame, and uneventful) Also silly motive. 10. Charlie. (Lame, no intimidation factor) Very unbelievable ghost face. Had a few good kills, and his revael was ok. But a bottom tier ghost face for sure. 9. Detective Baily. (Lame, felt out of place the whole movie) Never had much of a stable character. 8. Eathan. Imo Quinn was my favorite out of the other 2 in scream 6. She just had more personality and Liana sold it as Quinn. She might've not had enough screen time but before her fake-out death, she was a really fun and and overall fun character. Ethan might've killed Anika but that doesn't up to him for me cause Anika was everything to mee so that ranks him lower. + Quinn was the Scariest and Fastest Ghostface. She loves jump-scaring her victims, like the subway and Gale's attack were the best Ghostface scenes in this move for me cause they were sooo scary.

There’s people who say they want “a cult of ghostface” but the truth is that is a really stupid idea. We got 3 ghosfaces (too many imo) and look what happens, Quinn and Ethan are in the bottom of everyone’s list. They were nothing characters with little screen time. Too many cooks in the kitchen. Quality over quantity. Less is more.
I highly disagree about Nancy Loomis. Her foreshadowing scenes are brilliant. They wanted to do Mrs. Voorhees, but the right way where she doesn’t come out of nowhere. You can see it coming. This is on top of several other Easter eggs about female killers sprinkled throughout the film and the Stab scene that show Billy talking about his mom. It’s honestly pretty great. Laurie also knocks the psychotic grieving parent out of the park. She’s so believable.
Jill, Stu & Mickey are the most underrated killers ever, they are so crazy & they gave sinister motives & a brilliant over top performance but I wished mickey had more screen time, whenever they do make a 7th movie, I would love for the Meeks twins to be ghostface to carry randys Legecy forever & I’ll think Chad will eventually kill Sam to protect Tara as there relationship was good in the 6th flim, I think Mindy will blame the other survivors for anika’s death & be brains of their murder spree & leading chad to be the executer, it would be crazy if mark kincard was the 3rd killer of 7th & being the mastermind behind it all & using the killers of 5 & 6, to take out all of the survivors so he can have sindey to all of his self & put the blame on Sam & frame her as becoming like her father as Sidney Husband could have connection with Detective Bailey as they were both police officers 👀, What are you guys thoughts on this ?? 🔪👻

Scream 1 was never about horror nerds. It was always about Billy’s mom abandoning him. The only thing Roman’s reveal did was add context to why Maureen was the way she was and how Billy learned of his father’s affair.
Mickey has always been my favorite ghostface. His motive and psycho personality was just the best in my opinion. Timothy Olyphant just nailed that final act. He is so underrated and under used unfortunately in the movie. Wished we got more screen time for him and wished Mickey got more love in the franchise.
I don't understand how Jill and Charlie were able to film their murders because it's not like it's ever been shown there to be a camera in the Ghostface mask. Same with Richie.

Why do people consistently get it wrong about Roman's involvement in the first film? He only masterminded Maureen's murder, and he only interacted with Billy. Roman even says he had no idea that Billy and Stu would make their own movie - obviously he didn't mastermind their killing spree. Plus, when Billy reveals to Sidney that Maureen and Hank's affair was the reason his mother left the family, Stu was surprised at that revelation. So obviously Billy never told Stu the specific reason they targeted Maureen. Roman only spoke to Billy, and he only sent Billy after Maureen. That's it. Every single other thing in Scream was purely Billy and Stu.
I kinda knew that detective Bailey was one of the ghostface killers, just because of the two lines “who gives a fuck about the movies” and “do you feel like meat now jason” because to me that just seems like something a cop turned killer would say, and it’s the fact that he said it with a lot of anger. But then I realize he couldn’t be a ghostface killer because he doesn’t have the physique, but I still thought he could be in on it.
with the opening in scream 6 it opens the door to scream movies that follow the killer instead of the final girl/survivors...and hear me out on this what if we did a scream .5 series that follow the killers from each movie so scream.5 following Billy and Stu scream 2.5 following Mrs. Lumis and micky and so on...obviously name could be different and if the original actors came back we would have to do that sketchy de-aging but that might be the best way to bring back these past fan favorites that wouldn't completely mess with the over all movie stories....im not sure if this is a good idea or one that would be accepted if done but I do see it as a potential option
Personally I would've placed Charlie below Ethan at least because Ethan does get one of the best kills ever with Anikka (which was confirmed by radio silence who said Jack champion was in the costume for a few of those shots.) I also have Quinn above him but I can see how she is 3rd to last.
Quinn was so good. Doing a Freddy grinding the knife against the railing and that sick bloody smile ? Craziest out of her family. I'd personally put her above Amber & Charlie.
I would say Greg and Jason are Ghostface, but Jason is more over. I'm not sure Greg did anything as far as killings, so 13th killers for sure. Also, I can make a case for either mickey or Jill being number 1 over stu.
In my mind Wayne killed Greg, Jason, the therapist, and Anika. Ethan killed the three in the bodega. And Quinn killed her boyfriend in the tub and Gales boyfriend. But Quinn might've also killed Jason considering Sam's card was there but Quinn could've given it to Wayne before he whacked them. The dialogue makes more sense with Wayne. I also thought Ethan killed Anika but then he said he had a class and people to vouch for him and later they say that alibi checked out.
But he could of been using a name Ethan what ever his surname was as a boy that was in that club, as we know his surname wasnt his name or Ethan bailey either. It was Ethan kirsch. So it could of been him

Eh, I think you're wrong about Mrs. Loomis, Jake. There's good foreshadowing sprinkled throughout. We get the Randy and Dewey convo, and they show the Stab scene between Billy and Sidney talking about their mothers. It was well written.
You and I completely agree on Mrs. Loomis and Det. Bailey. Scream 2 is my least favorite bc they didn't set up one of the killers/motives at all. She comes on stage and you have no idea what is going on. Whereas Detective Bailey kept dropping breadcrumbs for Sam and Tara about Richie and his family. Sadly, I would've loved a cameo of Mickey saying "richie's family" though. Would've been a great outtake

Imo Quinn was my favorite out of the other 2 in scream 6. She just had more personality and Liana sold it as Quinn. She might've not had enough screen time but before her fake-out death, she was a really fun and and overall fun character. Ethan might've killed Anika but that doesn't up to him for me cause Anika was everything to mee so that ranks him lower. + Quinn was the Scariest and Fastest Ghostface. She loves jump-scaring her victims, like the subway and Gale's attack were the best Ghostface scenes in this move for me cause they were sooo scary.
Yep, I thought quinn was hilarious before her reveal and if she hadn't been ghostface I wouldn't have minded seeing her in a sequel if she lived. I also thought her acting was the best of the 3 after the reveal. Easily my favorite of the radio silence era ghostface kilelrs

There’s people who say they want “a cult of ghostface” but the truth is that is a really stupid idea. We got 3 ghosfaces (too many imo) and look what happens, Quinn and Ethan are in the bottom of everyone’s list. They were nothing characters with little screen time. Too many cooks in the kitchen. Quality over quantity. Less is more.
I highly disagree about Nancy Loomis. Her foreshadowing scenes are brilliant. They wanted to do Mrs. Voorhees, but the right way where she doesn’t come out of nowhere. You can see it coming.
This is on top of several other Easter eggs about female killers sprinkled throughout the film and the Stab scene that show Billy talking about his mom.
It’s honestly pretty great. Laurie also knocks the psychotic grieving parent out of the park. She’s so believable.

Jill, Stu & Mickey are the most underrated killers ever, they are so crazy & they gave sinister motives & a brilliant over top performance but I wished mickey had more screen time, whenever they do make a 7th movie, I would love for the Meeks twins to be ghostface to carry randys Legecy forever & I’ll think Chad will eventually kill Sam to protect Tara as there relationship was good in the 6th flim, I think Mindy will blame the other survivors for anika’s death & be brains of their murder spree & leading chad to be the executer, it would be crazy if mark kincard was the 3rd killer of 7th & being the mastermind behind it all & using the killers of 5 & 6, to take out all of the survivors so he can have sindey to all of his self & put the blame on Sam & frame her as becoming like her father as Sidney Husband could have connection with Detective Bailey as they were both police officers 👀, What are you guys thoughts on this ?? 🔪👻

Scream 1 was never about horror nerds. It was always about Billy’s mom abandoning him. The only thing Roman’s reveal did was add context to why Maureen was the way she was and how Billy learned of his father’s affair.
Remember, Richie was a manbaby who made his girlfriend do all the killing

If you look for them, there’s at least 6-7 seeds plated that foreshadow Mrs. Loomis’s reveal as the killer in this one.

Mickey has always been my favorite ghostface. His motive and psycho personality was just the best in my opinion. Timothy Olyphant just nailed that final act. He is so underrated and under used unfortunately in the movie. Wished we got more screen time for him and wished Mickey got more love in the franchise.

Why do people consistently get it wrong about Roman's involvement in the first film? He only masterminded Maureen's murder, and he only interacted with Billy. Roman even says he had no idea that Billy and Stu would make their own movie - obviously he didn't mastermind their killing spree. Plus, when Billy reveals to Sidney that Maureen and Hank's affair was the reason his mother left the family, Stu was surprised at that revelation. So obviously Billy never told Stu the specific reason they targeted Maureen.
Roman only spoke to Billy, and he only sent Billy after Maureen. That's it. Every single other thing in Scream was purely Billy and Stu.

I kinda knew that detective Bailey was one of the ghostface killers, just because of the two lines “who gives a fuck about the movies” and “do you feel like meat now jason” because to me that just seems like something a cop turned killer would say, and it’s the fact that he said it with a lot of anger. But then I realize he couldn’t be a ghostface killer because he doesn’t have the physique, but I still thought he could be in on it.
with the opening in scream 6 it opens the door to scream movies that follow the killer instead of the final girl/survivors...and hear me out on this what if we did a scream .5 series that follow the killers from each movie so scream.5 following Billy and Stu scream 2.5 following Mrs. Lumis and micky and so on...obviously name could be different and if the original actors came back we would have to do that sketchy de-aging but that might be the best way to bring back these past fan favorites that wouldn't completely mess with the over all movie stories....im not sure if this is a good idea or one that would be accepted if done but I do see it as a potential option

Personally I would've placed Charlie below Ethan at least because Ethan does get one of the best kills ever with Anikka (which was confirmed by radio silence who said Jack champion was in the costume for a few of those shots.) I also have Quinn above him but I can see how she is 3rd to last.
Quinn was so good. Doing a Freddy grinding the knife against the railing and that sick bloody smile ? Craziest out of her family. I'd personally put her above Amber & Charlie.
I would say Greg and Jason are Ghostface, but Jason is more over. I'm not sure Greg did anything as far as killings, so 13th killers for sure. Also, I can make a case for either mickey or Jill being number 1 over stu.
In my mind Wayne killed Greg, Jason, the therapist,
and Anika. Ethan killed the three in the bodega. And Quinn killed her boyfriend in the tub and Gales boyfriend. But Quinn might've also killed Jason considering Sam's card was there but Quinn could've given it to Wayne before he whacked them. The dialogue makes more sense with Wayne. I also thought Ethan killed Anika but then he said he had a class and people to vouch for him and later they say that alibi checked out.
But he could of been using a name Ethan what ever his surname was as a boy that was in that club, as we know his surname wasnt his name or Ethan bailey either. It was Ethan kirsch. So it could of been him

Eh, I think you're wrong about Mrs. Loomis, Jake. There's good foreshadowing sprinkled throughout. We get the Randy and Dewey convo, and they show the Stab scene between Billy and Sidney talking about their mothers. It was well written.

You and I completely agree on Mrs. Loomis and Det. Bailey. Scream 2 is my least favorite bc they didn't set up one of the killers/motives at all. She comes on stage and you have no idea what is going on. Whereas Detective Bailey kept dropping breadcrumbs for Sam and Tara about Richie and his family. Sadly, I would've loved a cameo of Mickey saying "richie's family" though. Would've been a great outtake
