Maybe Zane means that below MG, a 60% win rate is too low, but for an average player, a 60% win rate is actually decent as a solo player. Zane might be underestimating 60%. If you're a solo player as skilled as the pros or if you're a pro yourself, you could probably maintain a 65-75% win rate if you're Mythic Immortal. But hitting 80% with 300+ matches seems unlikely, no matter how good you are. Climbing is really tough now. Even Karltzy, who often plays solo, duo, or trio, usually has a win rate around 50-60%, winning 3 out of 5 games.
I mean I got to Glory with a 91% but pushing to immortal was WAY harder… I was pushed to around 65-70 so he may be talking about 60 being bad below glory
