Penn Dot needs to raise all elevations by 25% across the board, Spring Mount Pa replacement bridge was completed. Then flooded a week later. Then flooded again from 16 feet to 21 feet above normal flow. (3 feet over the bridge). The biggest flaw of Spring Mount bridge replacement was not removing a 125 years of sediment after the bridge to open up Percuoman river flow rate. That sediments settled after the bridge. For the last 125 years.
As engineers or construction trades, this Spring mount bridge replacement is a good lesson to go look at, at how we as Pennsylvania got this design wrong.
If the bridge was 7 to 12 feet higher in elevation then we would not drive down then back up to the stop sign. The bridge would be level to the stop sign and at least 5 feet out of “natures” harms way.
One woman died, in her car in 2019 after this bridge was replaced June 10 2019. Washed off it.
All, go look at the design. It is a text book example of what not to do.

This is EXACTLY WHAT I NEED IN WOODLYNNE NJ .
I NEED TO REBUILD THE UNDERSIZED UNDER ROAD CULVERT TO CREATE A BIGGER CHANNEL SO NEWTON CREEK ISN'T @ A CHOCK POINT AT INTERSECTION WOODLYNNE AVE & CYPRESS/LAUREL AVE & FOURTH ST CONNECTION OF THE CREEK.
I WILL SAVE THIS FOR WHEN I DESIGN THE TOWNS original lake and widen creek bed to eliminate flooding.
Once I get in as Mayor, I will get working with engineers to get everything going. What I want to do should have been done 48 YRS AGO!
    💥BADA BING BADA BOOM 💥
    I APPROVE THIS MESSAGE 🙌
