Lelouch fighting his mom in a mech is the best thing I never realized I needed
With this, Lelouch has now used his geass on every single member of his direct family aside from Charles.
Actually he did use geass on Charles: to kill himself. Unfortunately, he already acquired VV's immortality before he was geassed.
He completed the whole set here then, as he himself got self-geassed to fight Mao.
We're still not sure about Marrybell to be honest.
By all accounts it seems like she was a *willing* participant in Zero Requiem.

I’m surprised that Jeremiah didn’t defect to Marianne’s side on this one even though he swore loyalty to her through Lelouch.
Given I believe Lelouch would've told Jeremiah the truth behind his mother's mask, I wouldn't be surprised if I still swore loyalty to the mask, but rejected the woman behind who would abandon her children for some stupid plan that was doomed to fail the moment Lelouch got Geass 10 years after the war of Japan

The only thing I wished was there were more battles against Code Geass characters. Like fighting a whole Britannian Knightmare Force or deceased Knights of the Round for once. Would always love to see Misurugi being shown the error of their ways by facing someone with the backbone to slaughter even them. XD

I really enjoy how all in they went with Marianne, to the point of wanting Kallen to be Lelouch’s lover JUST to kill her and hurt Lelouch for going against her. It was kinda hinted at in the show proper but she really was the more evil one between her and her husband, as awful as Charles was he at least made a token effort for Lelouch and Nunnally.
I kinda disagree, i more prefer if she was more dubious unknown where she is on the scale of good and evil. One things that I love about Code Geass is that the cast never straight forward, they can be seen cruel and evil one moment then undetstanding the next because they have purpose for what they does and willing to scacrify everything for it. Lelouch's sacrified his life so his love ones can have better future, Marianne sacrified her time a d future with her child because she belive when Raknarok is complete she can be with them for enternity.

Their are horrible pieces of trash, like Clovis or the Eunuchs, and there are good people that didn't do anything wrong, like Milly or Rivalz. Trying to force every character into grey is grey because grey is just makes no one stand out or matter.
@@nahte123456 it easier to write straight character than moraly questionalble ones. It is why Rivalz and Milly are just the moral support character. Eunuch are one-off greedy manupilator, even Clovis aren't evil once you take a step back to think.
Clovis first action was sent the police to retrive C.C, next he sent his Royal Guard and Honoraly Brittanian troops, when both fail, he panic and decide a scorct earth operation. He not evil, just desperate and made bad decision

Also if you think it's "easier" you've never written well in your life. To stay morally consistent without being stupid is hard.
As for claiming the Eunuch's are "one-off" doesn't change their roll in the story, just like Marianne, of being evil villains without redemption.

And no, the show present Marianne different than Eunuch. Eunuch only shown to be greedy and wanted to uses Tianzi for their own greed. Marianne does love her childs, as she had threaten another consort with KMF for bad mouths her childs. Her disregard of Lelouch and Nunnally safety during the invasion is because she belive that if they died, she can reunited with them in C's World after Ragnarok is complete.
Code geass doesn't really do black and white morallity, it shown that human are complex, with different drives and world views. Both Charles and Marianne love Lelouch and Nunnally in their own ways, Charles might even saw himself in Lelouch with how similar they are
Even movie Re:surection have shown this with both Charles and Marrianne being 2 of the shadows appear to help Lelouch

When Sunrise makes more Code Geass content in the future after the success of Fukkatsu no Lelouch, they should take notes from this section of this game and make an arc about Charles' return, with a revived Marianne being the Catalyst

That Part Scene During Finale is Epic Cool.
All these years, I've always thought V.V. to be a clingy person with no one to go to if Charles ever disappeared despite his mature demeanor and outlook in life. That he would be lost and only did to Marianne what he did out of envy and spite.
But now seeing this interpretation of Marianne, one can't help but think that Charles was actually a good guy at heart. And that V.V. was right about women since the dawn of time can corrupt and sway men to their whims. Nunnally's kind heart isn't solely from her being a blind cripple and she certainly didn't get it from her mother, that's for sure. It must be from a young Charles.
Fighting Marianne was one of the best ideas utilized by this game. Sure, I would've preferred a more threatening KMF for her to pilot, as well as more people to have lines for her, but I guess you can't be too picky.
P.S. The explanation for how Al Warth uses energy from the Worlds of War, Peace, and Revolution just reminds me of how Buddy Complex really stands out as a world that's just "there," with Embryo being involved in an attempt to make its inclusion "justified" (and I use that term lightly). Even the alternate 19th Century world has a better reason to be involved, thanks to the Atlanteans.
Though I guess it makes sense she'd have a copy of the Mordred since she's Anya's predecessor who held the title Knight of Six before she and Charles fell in love and she became his Empress.
Hell personally I wish she had a better mech to suit her other title and nickname Marianne the Flash, now with that name Marianne had to have been a speedy Knightmare Pilot with her mechs focusing on speed and agility, would be cool if one of her original Knightmares was the prototype to Lancelot.

Nope she was practically dead and was just using Anya to live but then she got erased from Anya when orange remove Anya's geass curse that she put on anya and when lelouch denied them in the C world before lelouch assumes control of brittania throne
Nope, in the show Lelouch basically sics God on Charles and Britannia and has them be consumed by C’s World
@@scarletrose8766 No the Geass on Anya that Jeramiah removed was Charles' Geass to make Anya forget she witnessed Marianne's death. Marianne already left Anya's body leaving no trace of her being in there when the Ragnarok Connection was about to begin and Lelouch requested God to fight back against Charles and Marianne and absorb them.
i wish they gave more budget for code geass considering how popular it is. Most of these attacks look like the psp version and some even worse somehow. Hopefully now that the game is getting popular in the west we can see more units in hd like the knights of the round or the tohdo
