Looking for sublimation printer, able to print White design on Black Mug. Possible with this L8050?
I don't use Black Mug with white area. The Mugs are completely Black.
Unfortunately, this printer does not generally have that capability. However, if you can find a customized version, it might support it. But the best printer for printing on black mugs is the Sawgrass SG500
Is it only for photo & id card printing? or we can print normal A4 paper too?
Yes, sir. We can also print normal A4 paper with very high quality.
Where can l buy it
You can purchase this printer from reputable online stores like Amazon, eBay, or the official manufacturer's website. You can also check local electronics stores.

If possible, try printing a simple sheet or two every other day. This helps keep the printer in good condition. If you're busy, printing once or twice a week should be enough to prevent any issues

Hi can i use this printer for sticker printing? Thank you 😊
@projectzeroplusone hi
Yes can but the paper shouldn't be water proof
Pwede po ba PET instead of PVC?
I have a question is it true that i have to use it daily or at least once every other day or the ink will dry and give you bad printing???? Please someone help me about this
Yes, that's absolutely correct. Inkjet printers, if not used regularly, can experience ink drying out which can damage the print head and cause it to stop functioning. The print head is the most crucial part of Epson and other inkjet printers and can be quite expensive to replace. Therefore, it's very important to use the printer at least twice a week. Our recommendation is to print one or two sheets every two days, which should be sufficient to keep the print head in good condition

Can it print on 270gm A4 paper
The Epson L8050 printer can print on various types of paper. Some of these include:
1:Plain Paper: For everyday text printing.
2:Glossy Photo Paper: For high-quality photo prints.
3:Matte Paper: For printing photos and documents with a matte, non-glossy finish.
4:Heavyweight Paper: For printing on thicker papers like 270gsm.
5:Water-Resistant Paper: For prints that need to be water-resistant.
6:Sticker Paper: For printing stickers and labels.
7:Specialty Media: Such as transparent paper, thermal paper, and magnetic paper.
Make sure to select the correct paper type in the printer settings to achieve the best print quality.
Can I print using PET instead of PVC?
I don't have enough information about this. If the size of the pet sheet ID card matches the card tray of the Epson L8050, it's possible that this could work.
A3 available!?
No, this printer is not for A3 printing, but if you are looking for a similar model, the Epson L18050 is available, which supports A3 printing. However, unfortunately, it does not support PVC cards.
Can this printer use art board paper
This printer is specifically designed for high-quality photo printing on paper and is optimized for printing on ID cards. Due to the slightly delicate pickup rollers, using other types of paper, such as art board paper, can cause wear and tear over time
Does this printer comes with the card/cd tray? Or is the tray sold separately?
The Epson L8050 typically comes with a card/CD tray included in the package. This tray allows you to print directly onto CDs, DVDs, and other types of media.

is it possible to close the ink tank to stop the ink to go to the head and store the printer for monthly use ?
Unfortunately, this approach is quite risky and requires expertise. The printhead of this printer is different from older Epson models and is more durable. If you still want to proceed, I recommend filtering the ink tubes first to ensure no ink is left in them. After that, you can close the ink tank or empty it. However, this process is somewhat challenging and should be handled by a technician, as it carries some risk
