Lived in Fuengirola for about 6 years until recently when my darling husband died. We often bought a kilo of delicious prawns from a supermarket for about €7-8 kilo . Loved picnics on the beach . Tapas ad various restaurants. Loved fish n chips at La Parra Gold. Good thing about Fuengirola is it being flat. Fish Alley was a favourite of ours as well..
Its not bad when its just a couple. Our kids are all grown up and working so we can go and enjoy reasonably good food. I feel for families with young kids going to Spain these days.
I’ve never been, but it looks great, it’s just a shame that a busy road runs along the beach front though. Good choice of restaurants, bars etc and something to suit all budgets. Big shout out to all Kevin’s superstars on here!😁👍🏻
Los bolichis my family go now used to have a place near city centre train Pablo lo chia gated complex lovely know use hotels or rented flats great place can walk all over nice when some one knows areas

Love the London Bar, their cocktails are amazing with some very interesting names 😂 if you walk to the castle then up the hill there is a big indoor shopping centre and lots restaurants upstairs in it, its called Miramar, great video thanks
I was taken aback when I saw the castle right by the beach. Built by the Moors apparently. That shopping centre was handy with a large Carrefour store, Primark was heaving🤣, there's a cinema in the centre too which was convenient the day it hammered down.
Love Fuengirola. I stay in right near the McDonald’s. Great location, we have also been for day trips! We have been in every season and would go all year round. Would really recommend going if you prefer beach to pools, for sure. Also go on a Tuesday to the market. Walk away from the beach front and you’ll find more retail shops and little cafes, corner shops etc. I can’t wait to return here especially after COVID.
Hi Kevin, there is a restaurant / bar on the fishing port. Its great, all fresh fish, but usually very difficult to get in cos its full of locals. its quite cheap, but the food is amazing. Not many know about it. Its on the fishing port not the marina. Cheers Rob
Is it on the drop down or round at the back? . My mate Jock who was chef at Cheers in Los Boliches for years..he used to rave about some of the bars at the harbour.
Glen happily working away in the old London bar, while your filming. Great bar would highly recommend to everyone, their full English breakfast is the best in Fuengirola. Proper tea aswell
Booked fur November. Ah canny wait! I'm hopin' that the Brittania is still there and plan to go back to Paganini 's for some awesome flavours. My late parents lived in Torreblanca for about 30 years but they tended to eat at home. I used to go to Cheers and El Padrino. They've gone now but there are some seriously good Thai fusion restaurants going on. Avoid Papa Luigi's its poor and bad quality pizza. All out of a freezer.

Definitely changed for the better since we were there Kevin couldn't even play any music in the bars because of residents in apartments above the bar's 👍👍👍
As a local, you have no clue what you are doing... you are on the wrong spot for anything remotely good, but looks like the tourist traps are working, at least on you.

Fuengirola is a lovely place to go back this December! I'd recommend visiting Torremilanos and Marbella while in the Fuengirola.

Try Cooper's Bar round the corner from the Stella Marie. Excellent prices on his beer and a comfortable and spacious beer garden that is a suntrap.

Try also La Farola, family restaurant. Really good, coming there for moreover than 10 years! Never dissapointing
