- It's Sunday Setup for Easter 2019 and we had a wonderful meal. Our girls were excited for their Easter Baskets. My mother and I cooked a delicious meal. I even used my instant pot :) I clearly wasn't eating keto on this day but I detoxed the following day. How was your Easter?

We also do cinnamon rolls on crazy cooking holiday mornings. I'm a church musician so Easter dinner can be stressful after a crazy work morning. This year we decided to do a big celebration on Good Friday and had a low key Easter Sunday. I had a pb & j for lunch after church, watched some Netflix, and took a 3 hour nap. It was GLORIOUS! Love watching your beautiful family.

This year for Easter I cooked the whole meal plus dessert all on Saturday so when we came home from church all we had to do is warm it up and eat.
I no longer do Easter dinner. I have to do Thanksgiving and Christmas all by myself so Easter, I just stayed in bed. I love watching you guys. My kids are grown and only one grandchild. His great grandma bought him an Easter basket. I'm suffering from holiday burn out.

This was a great family Easter dinner, family time, egg hunt video!!! I kept our Easter dinner keto. I made a spiral ham (no glaze), Cauli "Mac" and cheese and Green beans. Not too exciting, but very delicious :)

Great family time.....I was thinking Easter dresses and church services were also going to be added. Nothing is wrong with Easter Bunnies, as long as children know the real meaning of Easter.

I miss family holidays
I'm not Keto but I'm 90/10. 90% fruit veg and 10% meat no dairy. When a holiday happens I eat whatever I want but no process/instant foods still. It's hard to not go crazy
I add cream of mushroom soup and an egg in my dressing before I bake it.

I can do Keto all week but Friday-Sunday I eat badly ( regular food and alcohol) my girl friend have cocktails waiting for me when walk in her door. So the struggle is real. My question to you is how long does it take to get back into Keto for you after a holiday with family?

Hi Jia, I love seeing your natural hair. I don't eat pork either so I use ground turkey in my dressing. I only use Barilla pasta as well. Last year I made macaroni and cheese with cheddar and gouda, it was amazing. Um I didn't see your sister's macaroni and cheese on the table or on your plate 🤔.

Jia! What did you put on your edges? Also, what is your mom's potato salad recipe? For Easter my son and I went to Church and came home and ate meat loaf, mash potatoes gravy and green beans. Then watched a couple movies...So relaxing.
