- Some of my favorite summer seasonal items are back in at Trader Joe's and I am curious to see what new summer items are going to be available this summer at my favorite grocery store. This is a special week because I show both a Trader Joe's haul and a taste test combo. This week we show all the new items and taste them including fried jalapeño pieces, spring gummies, green goddess gouda cheese, a small lot 50/50 blend of light and medium roast coffee beans and finally a unique vintage-style apron.

I put that arugula salad on top of the flatbread with hummus spread, baby tomatoes and some feta chz. Delish!!!!

I am SO excited the lemony arugula salad is back. I tried it last year and was kicking myself for not getting 10 bags. And I totally agree, it's super light and great to top on things or add a protein to make it a more complete meal.

I’ve seen mommy and me aprons for about $7-$10 less than the TJ’s one, but I think I would still buy this for myself and customize it too; I like the design; especially in the back. I would maybe get my initials sown on it, stencil them or tie-dye the whole thing. TFS. These videos always make my Friday!

The garlic flat bread makes an AMAZING pizza crust! I make them in the air frier super quick! It's also amazing for avocado toast!

Katie, that naan bread makes a delicious pizza! As you were showing the Mayo I wanted to say “you need to try the Target vegan Mayo” lol It is very good! I really adore you, your family, and your hauls! Happy Mother’s Day!
Stick the tortillas in the fridge and then when you want to eat them, gently heat on the stove on a griddle. Cast iron is best if you have it but non-stick works, too. It simulates that feeling of it being heated on a comal.

10:47 PSA regarding limes: wash your hands after handling them. If you leave any juice on your skin it can react with UV/sunlight and cause a nasty burn reaction. Wash them paws before you hoist that beverage ☺️
Happy Mother's Day! My fav. gummies are the X/Os from Valentine's Day. I swear we ate like 6 bags and would've bought more had they not disappeared so I'm super excited to try the Spring ones. I'll have to buy a bunch because I have friends at work that love all the TJ gummies too.

Yes on the Tequila! The Milagra is an awesome tequila! We actually purchased several bottles in Mexico and it has become our go-to Tequila!

Happy Mother's Day! Hope you have a fun, or relaxing, day planned. Very happy for you that Lasik went well! Yay! I used to buy the large bags of fried jalapeno slices at Costco. I love to put them and the fried onions on salads. Glad TJs is now carrying them. I do remember that apron style, but I don't wear aprons so it wouldn't be for me. I do think it needs to be fancied up some. It would have been beautiful, and very collectible, if they'd made graphics for them that mirrored the TJ state reusable bags. If they had, I could see buying one then just for the fabric, like maybe to repurpose into a throw pillow or something. Anyway, I would love to see what you do with it. You should try Kewpie mayonnaise. It's delicious and I was never much of a mayonnaise fan either.

I think you can freeze the tortillas and thaw when ready to use. It shouldn't affect the texture.
