TEMU sells a mattress lifter super cheap.
I use the double sided clear horizontal hanging shoe organizers in my craft room for rolls of vinyl and cans of spray paint. I made a pegboard with larger holes for thicker dowels to hang things from & hang those shoe organizers from there. Keeps it organized, off the floor & doesn't require much space. I also use the vertical clear organizers in pantry. I put muffin & cookie mixes, microwave popcorn packs, taco, fajita & other season packets and other smaller items that fit nicely in the pockets.

I put the shoe organizer on my husband's chair for all the things he needs. Remotes, telephone, and such items. I tuck it into the side of his chair, and it leaves his table clear for other items.

I use my double sided organizer hung on a swivel planter arm, hung on the wall next to my armoire. I store my pretty clutch pocket books, belts, special fotos and my indoor shoes when I go to bed, so my cat doesn't leave bite marks all over them 😂
I've been using these for years! I have one on the inside of my bathroom linen closet door holding hair products, body sprays, deodorant etc. I also have one large on on the inside of my pantry door for seasoning packets, plastic cutlery, teabags and whatever else I feel like stuffing into the pockets :)

Great ideas!! You can also use the shoe organizers as travel "kits" and you could hang them up in hotel rooms or wherever you are staying - easy access & stays organized - you also roll or fold them for easy transport in suit cases or travel bags. "-)

I like using shoe organizers when I go on vacation. Especially on my cruise. Not a lot of space in the cabins. Use the inside of the long cabinets to hang. Also dollar tree ha heavy duty magnetic hooks. The walls in the cabin are metal so the hooks come in handy for sun hats, purses, ball caps, towels, etc. Great way to utilize the wall for keeping g your room neat and organized and items easily accessible quickly. Use a shoe organizer in the bathroom area as well.
The shoe organizer can be used for snacks or lunch box items for school or even during the summer. Chips, granola bars, fruit, etc. Tonia E.
Good to use when traveling, save space in hotel rooms, or cruise ships. Another at home is to cut the top two or three pockets, and it can be a wrapping paper station that hangs on the back of your door.
Have a great idea for you who have alot of kids stuffed toys, heard this when my daughter was a baby a few (30) years ago. When they get done playing with stuffed animals, put them away for awhile. Then at a birthday party use them as party favors.
I am also going to use on side of a cupboard for teas and coffee creamers. Maybe put pictures of rosters that go with my my kitchen theme or pictures of tea cups or actual coffee cups . Whew that was a lot it of ideas
I use one of these for my scarfs. I have so many and no room to store them. I put an organizer behind my bedroom door and I can see each of my scarfs, makes picking one easier.
Thank you for sharing your printout - I love this countdown idea!! I have used shoe organizers for organization for so many years in many different houses and spaces. They are so easy to pack and move - for food, medicine, winter clothes, crafts, toys, cleaning supplies, tools, legos, summer gear, and more. You can cut them down for fewer pockets and use command strips to hold them up. one of my favorite organizing tools!

Carabiners are better than zip ties to hang thing on your headrests. Think purse. Think backpack. Think grocery bag for trash.

I take the shoe organizers, cut horizontally between them, sew the sides together, making four horizontal pockets. Then I sew an 8" piece of duck cloth with the gripper shelf liner attached to the back across the top of both. The duck cloth with gripper back helps hold it in place on the mattress.
Now that's super smart! Awesome!

Great video! Those shoe organizers are a lifesaver for me as I live in a small apartment. I use mine to store my acrylic paints and brushes. I also store my colored pencils too! My pens, my pencils, and my smaller art supplies. I even store my extra envelops and stamps!!! THose shoe organizers are great. I get mine at Target as my Dollar Tree does not carry them. I have one in my camping gear that I hang up near the table. We keep sunscreen, bug spray, electrolytes in there. Each of the kids have their own pocket for their water bottle. And there's room for silverware, napkins, and salt and pepper.

I LOVE the idea of using the clear organizer as an Advent Calendar!!
A Christmas tradition families can start (if you're not doing it already) is to read one chapter in of the Book of Luke each day or evening starting December 1st. There are 24 chapters in total. On Christmas Eve you will have read the entire account of Jesus's life & wake up on Christmas morning truly knowing who & why we celebrate.
I can't remember where I saw this, but thought it was a great idea!
If you use the clear organizer as an oversized Advent calendar, you can write each chapter on a card & tuck them into each of the 24 pockets. Each day/evening family members can take turns reading each chapter.

I use one of the clear organizers inside my pantry door to put sauce mix packets (taco, chili, etc) and packets of flavored oatmeal. The bottom of it is used for zip-loc bags...

I made one for my youngest Daughter when her little one was on his way [she has learning disabilities and needs 'flash cards' to help her] I made cards with image and text, such as 'Bath Thermometer' 'Burp Cloths' [Muslin Squares] ''Soothers' 'Baby Thermometer' 'Baby Hair Brush & Comb' etc. I then laminated the Cards and stuck them in each pocket so they were in the front, with the items behind. She loved it, and because it was up on the wall, there was no fumbling for anything in the middle of the night, things could be found quickly and easily, and could be put back easily as well. ❤❤❤❤

The $1.25 shoe hangers at my DT’s come in 2 four count rows. I used one of the adjustable towel bars to hang the shoe holder over my pantry door to hold foil, wraps, etc.
Shannon I love all of these ideas. I have one that has clear front (I can’t remember where I bought it, I have had it so long), but I used it to put sewing things in thread, scissors (your sewing one), needles ( both machine and hand), tape measure, it can go on and on. I love the ideas for the flowers I think I’ll buy a couple and do that, because my husband put them all together in a plastic tote once I couldn’t walk up stairs to my craft room, so I end up buying flowers ever time I do a project that call for such. When I had an actual craft room I had them in the tall metal(?) vase and had them separated by color and it was so nice to just go pick what I needed, but currently I don’t have room to do that, so I think this would be a great replacement. Shannon you said where you live gets very cold during the winter, where do you live? Just asking because I live in Michigan and I can agree about cold winters.
I use the 24 organizers in my craft room for all my greenery over the back of the closet door. It works so well. I’m thinking of doing one for all my flowers. Tfs. God Bless

I use one of my dollar tree shoe organizer on my pantry door to hold all my ziploc bags, different wraps, tall spray cans and bottles (cooking spray, oils, vinegar etc). Very easy to see what is there and keep off my very limited kitchen cupboard space.

I have one in my bathroom holding things like hairspray, hair products, makeup items, etc. Whatever little things I need to use it for.
I like the idea of the winter items.
I live in southern California, so we may need winter items one week of the year. But they’re in a basket under a lot of stuff. And not on my mind.
I also have a pair of gloves that are for driving. I keep forgetting to use those. I wear them to protect me from sunspots. So that should organizer would really help me.

Recently I saw someone show on TH-cam using a shoe organizer for travel as a way to hold, protect and sort things in a suitcase, as it can fold. The same would apply in drawers!

I'm getting a clear 24 pocket one to cut in half and hang on each side of my tiny closet doors to hold rolled socks and underwear and be able to see which ones are in there. I loved the Christmas idea and the cards in front can be used for any of these with labels or fun designs instead of flat colors or clear.

I use the shoe pockets on the back of my craft room door to hold all my craft punches! It saves space and time not having to dig through them!!

My Dollar Tree has been out of these organizers for a while. I ended up ordered one from Amazon. It has oversized pockets which I hung on the inside of my coat closet. I use it for the gloves, scarves and all of the cold weather extras. This was a great idea!! I will keep looking for them at Dollar Tree. I really like the idea of using them in the bathroom for extra storage.
I had a feeling the DT ones may go quickly. Glad you found an alternative though! The winter storage is much needed here too

I am going to use I garage for seed packs and gardening items. My mom also used for seasoning packets.
We made 2 7' wooden stands out of wood, then attached 12 of the mesh wire baskets from DT to each one and that's where I stored my florals. It worked great, but when we moved I had to donate it to goodwill. Hopefully we'll make me some new ones. They are perfect for sorting by colors.

@TheDailyDIYer it was the perfect solution, but it did take up a lot of space. I had ( and still do have) hundreds of flowers, but it was so easy to find what I needed. Right now they are all in huge boxes. Not good! I need my baskets, lol.😁

I would definitely use the shoe hanger in the shower, but I would put it in the inside to stay with a aimple/clean look. The material can get wet as long as it has time to dry out.

If you have a shower that doesn't have a shelf or the ability to hang a shower caddy you can hang one on the dry side of your shower to put your shampoo, conditioner, body wash and other things used in the shower but you probably don't want to put anything wet in it

Love the ideas I use them. One in my kitchen pantry I’ve changed it couple times over few years for knife sharpener and tools for kitchen to plastic wraps ,trash bags , so handy and great storage. God bless you and your family.

I use a shoe organizer on my pantry door and I take all of my ziplock bags out of the boxes, leave them rolled up and put them in the pockets. I also put foil, Saran Wrap, wax paper etc… I also put popcorn packets, granola bars really any packets of snacks. I love that it clears up space in my pantry.
Hi Shannon u made my day with these hacks. I did the one with putting the bags under the mattress to hold things. I had one that was just on the table doing nothing now it’s holding my remote, glasses, rubbing ointment and loving it!! I don’t have to get up. I have what I need on my bed. Thank u very much. Ya know, I’m such a visual learner and person in general. I emptied my storage unit, which is now in my living room. You can’t see the floor in most of my Apt. ugh. It’s driving me crazy and it’s depressing. I can see using this as my way of helping me get this mess in order. To set goals with each pocket. And I have one already tho I don’t remember how many pockets it has. 😊
