I swear that Iron Maiden scared the AML cancer out of me. Music is the most powerful medium EVER and IRON fuckin MAIDEN was and always will be my savior and were there for me and a great many millions of others! If you take one thing from this comment take this ..... believe in yourself and never give up on what ever might be ailing you. There is a Maiden song or album that will aid you through. "You're time will come..." I really needed to hear that today. I know in the context of the song, it isn't a good thing, but... taken on it's own, it's reassuring.
This was the opener for their 2000 concert. Not only was it a kickass show, but Halford opened for them. Halford, AND Dickinson on the same concert bill? I cannot fathom why someone would turn that down?
22 fucking years and this still is THE BEST comeback album from the legends. I remember seeing the preview of this album on TV in 2000 when I was 12 years old and I practically shat myself because I was never exposed to this music and to be honest, Indian TV hardly showcased metal. I'm 34 now and this is my go to song whenever I'm down. You gotta pay the piper my friends! Let this song guide you to ultimate strength and power! UP THE IRONS!
Thanks to this song i'm still alive. I Remember that day, back in 2000, when i was walking on the street and suddenly a curious cassette emerge from nowhere in the table of some old street merchant, i was in shock, that cover was amazing and it scares the hell out of me, i bought it with all of my money and when i got home and listen to it my life went so much beautiful thanks to this specific song. I was 11 and my parents were on a divorce, i absorb everything on that period and i was searching for an answer, The Wicker Man came and said to me "your time will come" (in my context, or course) and now i remember that day with such joy.
NOBODY brings the HEAT like theese guys, NOBODY......the fierce power, fury, passion tells it all, the true metal ICONS Iron Maiden always rocks the crowd like no one else....
I was 23 when this came out. I would drive the Ocean Parkway after dark, windows down, blasting this. I had been looking forward to BNW since the news broke about Adrian and Bruce returning. With BNW they reclaimed the throne. Two decades later and it's still theirs.
This song has a heavy metal nuance with a fast melodic style of hardrock. Very epic, makes you want to practice playing the guitar with speed on this song. This song has arguably a cool impression for anyone who first listens to it. Bravo
Anthem of my childhood... When this came out I was 4 and my dad used to play the tape with mix of metal clips and this song is the one I love the most from these times...
at first I was hesitant to listen to Maiden anymore ever since Bruce left, but was caught and shocked he was back and they made this album. He and Maiden is just a perfect match.

Brave New Maiden was their peak. They were so angry, so hell bent on reclaiming their rightful place as THE metal band, that they just destroyed everything. I've seen Maiden 7 times, and this was them at their most driven and LOUDEST. UP THE IRONS!
This was the song that introduced me to Iron Maiden when it came out. I was about 17, unfortunately had never heard Iron Maiden before then and didnt really have a lot of access to their music because of the local record stores not carrying their stuff prior or hearing them on the radio or MTV. It was on VH1s Rock Show when the video debuted and I was floored beyond belief. Ironically, I had a friend who was off in the Air Force at that time who WAS into Maiden and he was coming in for a little while for my brother's wedding. He found out I liked this and then introduced me to a ton of their stuff, as well as scoring two tickets to go see them in Cleveland and offered me the second ticket. Went and came home a die hard Maiden junkie. Within a year i managed to round up every single album they had up to that time by searching any and everywhere and I am STILL a fanatic. Alongside AC/DC, they are the band that ruled my life
Also almost 20 years old, this album was my entrance into Maiden, I read about them in a book went into my local library and searched for their cds. I was 12 years old now I am 20 and own every studio album they ever made, and most of the live ones, too.
My dad got me into them when I was fourteen. I have his vinyl copies of Number of the Beast, The Trooper and Flight of Icarus singles and Powerslave. 33 now. Maiden was a big part of my teenage years.
The great return of Bruce and Adrian. So kind from Dave and Janick they let Adrian do the guitar solo for the opening song of the album, and he did a really great job.
I was so happy when BD came back & they made BNW . I saw that tour & it was awesome They played a lot of BNW but it was a good mix Of old & new . Such a great band & history 🤘🏻 Up the IRONS !!!
It's been quite awhile since I listened to Iron Maiden & I almost forgot how amazing they are until I remembered this song. Iron Maiden you are awesome!!!🥰😍🤩
this is both a homage to a classical film and one of the best of this legendary band, awesome video, the opening to a complete nightmare world, full of terror and heavy metal, !HELL YEAH¡.
This fact trully blows my mind. Also the fact that they are publishing remaster albums from the 2000s already. And The Matrix is older than some of my colleagues :(

The best album since Bruce returned, IMO. Lets' hope "The Book Of Souls" overcome "Brave New World". I'm real excited about this new album!

A superb album as well...
Benjamin Breeg I don't know, I think I may prefer Dance of Death, besides the unfortunate cover art of course.

Right, haha. The cover art is, undoubtedbly, the worst Maiden cover ever.

i dont understand how some people can hate this band, the music just makes you feel a certain type of way, every single chord progression, every gallop. or maybe cause im high.
im the irons from Quarantined Chicago 2020
I swear that Iron Maiden scared the AML cancer out of me. Music is the most powerful medium EVER and IRON fuckin MAIDEN was and always will be my savior and were there for me and a great many millions of others! If you take one thing from this comment take this ..... believe in yourself and never give up on what ever might be ailing you. There is a Maiden song or album that will aid you through. My blessings from these words to your ears! Up the Irons.
The best band in this universe and paralell ones UP THE IRONS!!
Up and Up the irons!!
Hand of fate is moving and the finger points to you
He knocks you to your feet and so what are you gonna do
Your tongue has frozen now you've got something to say
The piper at the gates of dawn is calling you his way
You watch the world exploding every single night
Dancing in the sun a new born in the light
Say goodbye to gravity and say goodbye to death
Hello to eternity and live for every breath
Your time will come
Your time will come
Your time will come
Your time will come
The ferryman wants his money you ain't gonna give it back
He can push his own boat as you set off up the track
Nothing you can contemplate will ever be the same
Every second is a new spark, sets the universe aflame
You watch the world exploding every single night
Dancing in the sun a new born in the light
Brothers and their fathers joining hands to make a chain
The shadow of the Wicker man is rising up again
Your time will come
Your time will come
"You're time will come..." I really needed to hear that today. I know in the context of the song, it isn't a good thing, but... taken on it's own, it's reassuring.
thats very greates masterpiece iron maiden brave new world classic album 2000. I love iron maiden the true heavy metal. thank you iron maiden 🤘🤘
Bruce's lower voice in the chorus, that one you can barely hear, is a genius movement, production-wise. Great song!
I think it's Adrian
Former drummer, I can literally hear everything Nikko does on this song!❤
This was the opener for their 2000 concert. Not only was it a kickass show, but Halford opened for them. Halford, AND Dickinson on the same concert bill? I cannot fathom why someone would turn that down?
Sin duda una gran banda que apesar de los años sigue sonando genial
One of my favourite Maiden songs and Adrian plays a Les Paul. What else could I ask for?
22 fucking years and this still is THE BEST comeback album from the legends.
I remember seeing the preview of this album on TV in 2000 when I was 12 years old and I practically shat myself because I was never exposed to this music and to be honest, Indian TV hardly showcased metal. I'm 34 now and this is my go to song whenever I'm down.
You gotta pay the piper my friends! Let this song guide you to ultimate strength and power!
UP THE IRONS!
Will never stop listening to maiden!! 🤟
I'm been listening too Iron madien since I was 6 years old back in 1975 now I'm 51
The fact that Maiden STILL are out there for us to Enjoy and Reflect on all the great Music they gave us is EPIC.
Best British Heavy Metal Band😎🤘🤘
And Cradle Of Filth
Best metal band ever
Judas Priest?
La vuelta de Bruce y Adrian fue lo mejor que le pudo pasar al Heavy metal ya que era el año 2000 volvieron con todo Up the Irons
IRON MAIDEN is beyond MASTER CLASS! Incredible riffs, lead, vocals, bass, drums, dynamics, etc.! Metal PERFECTION!
Sounds like it would of fit on 7th son of a 7th son. Another underestimated album . Fantastic up the irons
This song has a heavy metal nuance with a fast melodic style of hardrock. Very epic, makes you want to practice playing the guitar with speed on this song. This song has arguably a cool impression for anyone who first listens to it. Bravo
Great song. Maiden never ceases to amaze me. Some of the greatest story tellers in metal.
Anthem of my childhood... When this came out I was 4 and my dad used to play the tape with mix of metal clips and this song is the one I love the most from these times...
It's the year 2000, Bruce is back and so are Maiden.....with all customary bombastic noise energy.
Up the Irons!
whenever I feel depressed, I came back and listen this anthem!!! and renew my force and my will!!! up the irons!!!!
Why is that guitar solo so damn satisfying? 😊
Because it is played by Adrian❤
@@ninaholicova3984Haha fair enough 😃
at first I was hesitant to listen to Maiden anymore ever since Bruce left, but was caught and shocked he was back and they made this album. He and Maiden is just a perfect match.
That guitar on 2:20...awesome 😎🤘🤘🤘
Adrian FUCKING Smith!!!!
2:14 2:20 2:24 2:28(wrap up) Nick complimenting the solo with the ride/bell...Man Genius Masters at work 🙌🏻🧡🙌🏻
The only legendary drummer who tuned his kit to perfection.. the most melodic drumming 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Adrian's solo is still mesmerising to this day. This song started the Irons for me. Thanks for always having been there !!
I really like the guitar part during the chorus that goes like: de do de do de do de do de do de do de do de do de do de do di de de do
Me 2
There's plenty of de do de do throughout Iron Maiden's discography, it's kind of a signature sound for them.
@@alebassmusic no this one goes: de do de do de do de do de do de do de do de do de do de do di de de do
What a fantastic album and what an experience seeing them live in London in 2000, where I was having a 3 years working experience. Up the Irons!

My bro's fave band in the mid 80s, I'm sure he's rocking to this somewhere....
Rosemont Horizon , Chicago 1984!!!!
Up the Irons.
迫力満点😊もっとメンバーが良く見られる動画だったら良かったな。
でも、最高❤
When Adrian plays like this, you know you got a hit !
Best Band, been a fan since 1982, seen them 4 times Powerslave, Somewhere In Time, Seventh Son, , Book of Souls and hopefully Legacy ofThe Beast!
My first maiden concert was legacy of the beast epic show
Such a kickass song that since 2000 still holds its own.
0:58 to 1:17 is one of the best guitar 0arts in any song ever imo it just feels right
Brave New Maiden was their peak. They were so angry, so hell bent on reclaiming their rightful place as THE metal band, that they just destroyed everything. I've seen Maiden 7 times, and this was them at their most driven and LOUDEST. UP THE IRONS!
god i remember how happy we all were when this came out .... \m/
I love it! 10000 listens later and never gets old!
Up The Irons🎸🎸🎸🎸
What a badass riff!!! I love Maiden!!!
Alongside AC/DC, they are the band that ruled my life
This was such a powerful thing to see back then.
Seen them 3 times now including 4 months ago , they still have the energy of a 30 year old ... They never disappoint
Ótima musica perfeita desde os anos 80 e 90 que curto Iron maiden e sempre vou curtir IRON MAIDEN para sempre
Cittadinanza italiana per gli IRON MAIDEN gentilmente.
Ah, this brings back the memories. CD responsible for making me a Maiden fan, and I do not regret it!
I was so happy when BD came back & they made BNW . I saw that tour & it was awesome
They played a lot of BNW but it was a good mix
Of old & new . Such a great band & history 🤘🏻
Up the IRONS !!!
My favorite band of all time. I've seen you guys 11 times. The first time was Dallas, you guys opened for the Scorpions. 1982. I've never looked back.
Its shocking how we are pretty much as far away from this album as they were from the debut at the time
This fact trully blows my mind. Also the fact that they are publishing remaster albums from the 2000s already. And The Matrix is older than some of my colleagues :(
yes and also, this album hasnt aged. At all. I still am in awe listening to dream of mirrors to this day
