How to Identify Correctly and Trade Supply and Demand Zones | FOREX

In this video, I will explain how I utilize supply and demand in my trading plan. It is a rather simple trading approach, but oftentimes we tend to overcomplicate it. I will show you how I use simplified S&D zones on both the higher and lower timeframes and how to potentially get perfect entries from those zones. Keep in mind that it is really important to actually understand what a supply and demand zone is, how it forms and what makes it valid. So for this, I provide you with some trading rules that you can include in your current trading approach.

Terrific video showing the flow of the market. I find it very useful to split my screen into 4 and look simultaneously as say the 5,15,60 and 240 min charts unfold over the course of time seeing how the different timeframes interact with eachother.
Absolutely great idea!! I've tried that, but having 4 charts in the same time is a bit too much and makes me lose focus. So I only stay with one chart!

Ive listened to alot of confusing wyckoff video's but you put wyckoff and S&D together in the easiest form i've seen, a light bulb moment, i'm definately a fan. Full credit tO you Mr Sivkov and yes yoU are a little fast but there's alot of info packed in here, I'll enjoy going over these video's a few more times..
This is such a great explanation of SnD and it is short and sweet. May I ask for a follow up video where you use market replay and show us a random area how you would decide if you want to be in the market or sit on the sideline. Also to show us how you draw the zones before you place any trade/s?

Exactly Chris! I find those two to be quite the same, so I just utilize ranges and buy to sells/sells to buy scenarios to determine a S&D zone!

I am really happy to hear that!! Very good question! Thanks for asking. I don't. Simply because the zone becomes way too small this way. Of course, it works nicely, but rarely it is going to retest to perfection. I would much prefer to draw the whole range and see where I can get a nice SL of 3-4 pips. That's how I usually do it. And of course with a couple other rules.

@@TradingFanatic Sierra chart is - good platform that I use. It’s like 26USD a month for the basic stuff like DOM and footprints. It’s very customisable but then again it makes it hard to configure.
@@TradingFanatic I also watch this guy Nareev G7FX. He used to work in Barclays investment bank. He’s pretty good his style is more scalp trading but he does talk down a lot on technical analysis but that’s his opinion. Would say his videos are decent to understanding how it works

Great video, really broke it down but I'd like to know if this works on synthetic indices (volatilities) as well? I would really love to see you use a synthetic indices chart in your videos too for those who love to trade them.
I do not have expertise in Indices, so I cannot say for sure. If you identify the S&D zones correctly, they work and price nicely reacts from them, but when it comes to entries, volatility, etc - I cannot say much! So you should definitely test it out yourself!

This is a very interesting vidoe because it just explained my confusion with EU. I've come to understand that EU respect zone but doesn't respect my stoplosses if that makes sense. This strategy is going to change the game for me as I usually get stopped out even though my analysis is correct. Thanks!
That is really good news! Definitely something to add to your edge then. Make sure to go and examine all of your trades that got stopped out and see what went wrong. I have spent last 2 years going over thousands of videos and podcasts from traders like Qullamaggie, Stock Bee, David Ryan, Weinstein, Minervini etc. I am now more or less in tune with identifying the potential movers, setups etc. Now I am able to understand Market Breadth and have been able to zero in on stocks that do move substantially i.e., 15% to 50% in a week. However, the fine tuning in terms of entries is going to come from you. Amazing stuff. I will spend 4-6 months going deep into your approach now.

A quick tip: Use longer time frames to identify supply and demand zones. It'll make the whole process easier, remember to use indicators to confirms, always confirm it.

The strategy is great and it's clear that you know a lot about supply and demand. In my point of view or personal experience, I find your explanation a little fast for me when you move between candles and zones. Slow down a little and repeat the steps a couple of times and your teaching will be perfect. Anyways, a valuable information in this video.

However, it is always easy to explain everything on a fully formed chart, because where the price is moving is already known. But in practice, when what we are dealing with is the last candlestick, we don't know where the next candle (let alone the next 10 candles) will lead, everything is not as easy as it seems in this video.
I myself have often experienced, when everything is past, when we re-evaluate a fully formed chart, only then can we see clearly.
So, although this video is very good, providing knowledge about the concept of supply and demand, in practice it is not as easy as it looks on a fully formed chart.
Thank you for your feedback! I can totally understand what you say and yes it's a fact. Looking in hindsight is easy and clear. But in order to learn, you have to look at the past, right? In order to see those patterns working, you have to check if they worked in the past. Then, with experience, you will start recognizing those patterns in live market conditions and you will be able to execute on them confidently. So yes, in practise, it's hard - trading is hard. But if you put in enough work and chart time, it will definitely become easier. So take the knowledge from this video and go and apply it on your charts to see how great it works!
@@TradingFanatic Past performance is not an indicator for future performance. I think you're missing the point here which is that no current candlestick in real time can ever predict the next candlestick.
@@keoniborge2498 I 100% agree, Keoni. The biggest skill of a trader is to adapt to current momentum and being able to flow with the market and its direction. While past performance is not an indicator for future performance, we mainly learn from the past, so we can build strategies for the future.
@@TradingFanatic i can truly define, S&D makes the world moves. knowledge on the concept and what Illiya has shown is gold. we learnt from the past and make it better in future. bearing in mind we cannot have a 100% win rate. we conclude by the risk reward ratio. the market does not belong to anyone. and at the end of the day, the market dont give a damn on what we draw or how it should behave. just respect and move on. This may look like witchcraft to some, but that's because the 'pattern' he is illustrating has no true failure state.
If price goes past the zone then he says it's broke structure, which you are taught to expect and is part of his method.
If price doesn't reach the zone then there's nothing to see so it's ignored.
That leaves only one remaining state which involves price stopping anywhere within a wide zone, that's why he is seemingly able to point out example after example with it never failing.
I'm not saying this is useless knowledge, just a warning to people that you should first wait to see if price will stop in one of these areas, then drill down to a smaller time frame and look for an entry. He probably says this somewhere in another video (I'd hope) but there's going to be people who just watch this one only and misuse it.
