I remember sitting there at like 4am on the monster cat stream when they played this song, it was so sick at the time. I loved it then and I love it now.

That happened in Swapping Things too, just a glitch that sometimes occurs in the software they use to make the videos, and I guess they rendered it too late to redo it

I'd imagine it's the music itself, the BPM and stuff is taking into effect and is making the visualizer jittery, because it is the audio that the visualizer is showing, and whatever section the middle represents may have that effect.
I can't really explain it in good music-terms since I don't make music, but being a content creator and doing lots of editing, I can only imagine this is the case.
