Hey Bill, good one! I started looking through boxes here to see what I have of the listed castings. Will have to look more tomorrow while Leanne is at work! Time frames this time of year with slow postage times/volume, not much time to get my act together, so will decided by tomorrow night here. The Vette looks good, but I have built the Aston Martins before, and they performed well. Just none of them here now! So my decision will be made on what I find at home. Fingers crossed. I have a bit to do by the end of the month now! Cheers, will be watching!
First off, is your printer upset with you or something? Man, that came out a little whackadoodle I did make out that Nick isn't accepting modifications to the body, such as trimming away the bits and parts of the chassis. The good news is _The Big O_ is Spool Heads design and not your usual AFCR (Adventure Force Crash Racers) track so often encountered on road courses. Pretty accommodating to low clearance cars! Based on what you have available, I lean more towards the C8R Corvette. I feel it's going to have the best front clearance to help it in turns. Balance, regardless of what you pick, will be key to maintaining control, and the Corvette's rear wing I feel will have the least negative influence on dialing that balance in, especially compared to the Bentley. That's the thing with GT Class racers, you have this giant chunk of metal so far back that you'll need to compensate for in how you arrange the weight inside. I guarantee you no experienced builder will choose the Mercedes-AMG. I love that casting, it won't do a damn thing on the track
Thanks Chris. I have 9 of those Vettes. Leaning toward them but I will need to open them all and see what is inside. I trust your opinion. I need to send you a private message. Stand by for news.
@@TinyTrackCars wow, only 8 approved castings for this event! I _see_ why not the SRT Viper, for sure. *Maybe* someone will surprise me by fielding the Merc-AMG, who truly knows yet?
I have 4 myself... I am partial to the Bentley and have two of them out for different races already. Not sure which of the others I will send... To be honest, I am not a huge fan of the listed castings. I do have a color something version of one of them... may just go with that one.
Wow, that list Nick put out--no Dodge SRT Viper GTS-R, no Renault RS01, Ford GT LM, no Audi R8 GT. I sort of understand omitting the Viper, both upturned ends give it QUITE the advantage. Scratching my head a little what led to a rather restricted list, but yeah make sure the Mercedes AMG is there. The guy knows his track better than I do
I’m using the Corvette in that race.

As I told Chris Hood. It depends when I open them and see what they look like. Thanks.
Cant wait to see it when it arrives!!! Good luck
The Bently? My replay locked up on the last minute 2 times. Not sure which one I will choose. Need to open them and see. Thanks Nick.

Yup, the big O has wide big sweeping turns and these low cars do not rub in their stock form!! BRING EM ON!!

@@Chris_Hood Trust me, I wanted the Viper.
@@sstdiecastracing2372 then we'd have "Oops, All Vipers" maybe! It has some clear advantages

From what i see in other videos the Bentley seems pretty quick.
Ya. The video locked up at the end. Tried reloading, but. Yes The Bently seems beefier. Thanks.
My gut says Corvette.
I'm liking it. Need to open it and see what I can do.
So Hey, I have a viewer that wants to know if you accept fantasy cars. What say you on that?
Bobby Martin on FB wants to know. He saw your track on my channel.
You'll need tyres lol!
🤣
