I am 45 years old and I am from Portland, Oregon. For my 15th birthday, around December of 1992 I had an interaction with Coach Prime. At that time, Coach Prime was "Deion Sander-Clause," and he played for the Braves & Falcons. This is back at the start of his time with Nike, cause Nike is from Oregon. In the old Memorial Coliseum, at a Portland Trailblazer Vs Golden State Warriors game. Our tickets came with a banquet -type/basement dinner and Coach Prime happened to be there. I will never forget the impactful interaction I had with him. I bothered him for an autograph, while he was eating, and he "put me on blast," so I apologized and went back to my seat embarrassed. I was 14, that is my excuse, I was young. After eating, while we were eating, Coach Prime came to our table and offered to sign our game ticket. He signed it, I thanked him, and he went about his way. Now to see how his lessons are impacting kids, I am secure knowing the message is applied with great efficiency............Just a story about his impact on me, over 30-years ago,
