I tried this yesterday. The sales Rep from Mooer came through. I plugged it into a 1x12 marshall cab and it sounded AWESOME!!!! Brilliant interface and pristine sounds. Good times.

Mooers Cab-sims are insane!
Got the little 001 Gas Station (Diezel Clone) to massively upgrade my headrush pedal. Since then I've somewhat fell in love with M0oers sound as I couldn't get my Headrush to sound anything like it! not it even with the Mooer (cab sim off) through a multitude of IRs loaded in the Headrush.
The little Pedals have one cab sim included each, and it's wicked!
Wonder if the sounds in this are the same models, could definitely be an option...

The thing that sucks for me is the fact it isn’t footswitchable. Would still be sick for studio.
It took way more digging than I feel like it should to get a price point for this bugger.
Found a site selling it for $270 Canadian, which is about $220 US or 185 Euro.

poor mans Bias Head or Kemper, these Chinese companies have been putting out some half decent more affordable/budget friendly options imo. Brands and products like the Nux Cerebus, Mooer Red Truck, Mooer Micro Preamps, Mooer Radar & Mooer Babybomb, Valeton Dapper, Hotone/Xtomp, Joyo & Moen, etc. Thanks for the video Ola \m/

The "Hotone Heart attack" is a even smaller amp, and sounds better to my ears than the mooer. The heart attack is based off the mesa boogie duel rectifier, and has a lot of ballz for a 15 watt amp.
I have one and play it through a Mooer Radar. And it's like a joke. They both fit in one hand and sound just awesome together

With this don't need the preamp live because this is an amp, maybe will be nice with black truck, ge200, ge300 or any pedal that you want, and will be better with a poweramp like mooer tube engine!

Are the amps the same as the micro pre amp pedals??
seems like a cool concept, but a lot of those tones sound very small/digital. Might be better off just using a quality amp sim.

Trying to figure out how good this might sound with my 2x12 Celestion Greenback cabinet? Does it have a noticeably tube amp tone? Can the tubes be switched out?

Question.. how does one switch externally between the presets with like a footswitch..it is not mentioned in the manual and I actually don't see any input for some kind of switch..
would you run the 1/8in aux out to an external poweramp? I would assume the fx send wouldnt send the full chain but maybe im wrong

It's a lower lower than that one though. Maybe if you were in standard It'd be the same. I couldn't hear it that great.

riff.dude Its a solid state so I highly doubt 15 watts will be enough. If it were a tube amp then yeah, itd do fine. I play my Orange TH30 in 7 watt mode with the volume dial at 3 during practice and its still a bit too loud at times but anything less and the tubes arent working in a good operating range.

I played my Dark Terror in a treated room with my drummer and it was just fine. I played it again in an untreated room. There was so much reverb going on I couldn't hear my amp at full volume. 15 watts solid state can work, but most of the time they will not. Another interessting thing ist the cab. Dark Terror with a 112 is thin but loud enough. With a 412 it's fat but it has to power 4 speakers... I think I should make a video for my channel where I compare 112 wit 412 with the same amp, mic and settings.
Yeah 15 Watts is plenty. That tech has come a long way in the past ten years. 15 Watts ain’t what it used to be.

There are smaller amps. Quilter has smaller amps and a pedal amp, Electro-Harmonix has a pedal amp, DV Mark has some smaller amps, Vox has smaller amps. All of these I listed are more powerful than this. Hell, there are even on-board headphone poweramps, that fit under your scratch plate...

If you want a cool little travel rig, try a Blackstar Fly 3. They are tiny but sound half OK. Or if you have a bit more space, the VOX Adio Air GT. They are brilliant. Better than the Yamaha THR series.
It's got a cab button in the front so I would assume it's got simulations so yeah you can go front of house.
Id recommend a boss katana 50, those are relatively cheap and really loud with lots of effects. Im saving up for one too.

I believe it's fairly cheap, a Canadian shop has it up at 270 CAD which is around 215 USD, so i'm guessing the MSRP will be 199 USD, at that price it isn't surprising that it isn't midi capable, but yeah it sure would've been a cool extra feature
There's NO way to change presets with your feet? The only way to change sounds is to walk up to the unit and press a button with your fingers? Sad! Not for live players, unless you're a "I play the exact same tone at the same volume all night long" kind of player. Mooer should come up with some product for the gigging musician who needs to get from any preset to ANY other preset with their feet. Sounds like they can do the modeling and effects game as good as anyone else (Headrush, Line 6, BOSS, Fractal) at least from the few on line videos I've seen.
At least it has bluetooth capability. Maybe they could add a bluetooth footswitch in future

That riff at the beginning O_o
It doesnt sound like it sits well in the mix at all. I know a lot of metal guys love that scooped mids buzzsaw sound but you can barely differentiate the notes in the mix. Very tinny to me. Which by the way can easily be rectified with the HD500X, despite what super lazy or inexperienced guitarists llike to complain about. So Im wonderiing how much editing can be done with this amp.
The drums in the intro sound like my lawnmower when it's idling!
