⇢ Welcome to our TH-cam channel. We are Leigh and Nick, a married couple from the UK (Technically we are civil partner shipped but hey it's close enough)
Due to a health scare in 2017, we decided to start enjoying life more outside our business. We bought a Lodge on the east coast of England and started vlogging our daily adventures
Join us as we explore the UK, Florida, Disney and further afield aswell as spending time at the Lodge on our own, with family and with our friends

Love the way Leigh says "we fixing this " etc , when it's Nick that fixes everything and Leigh passes him the tools . So cute !
Fish looked delicious tho expensive . We pay £7 for a fish at the chippy .
You will have visited southport by time you read this comment , but if you next go to liverpool , you should visit the cathedrals , especially the Metropolitan. As well as a bust to The Panoramic , bar and restaurant, where you can see a view of the Mersey , our lovely liverbirds and the whole city , whilst sipping a cocktail or two , or having an afternoon tea .

Everyone’s experience is different - but the things that helped my IBS the most is keeping fried fatty stuff to a minimum, not eating too much in one go, and avoiding onions where I can.Avoiding onions had a huge benefit. Obviously can’t do it 24/7 but it does help. The occasional Nexium tablet helps the heartburn and reflux too.
I used to work in McDonald’s and can confirm nick is somewhat right. Yes the machines are shut down for cleaning but normally from midnight. The most common reason is that the machines overheat and don’t feeeze the ice cream for the shakes and McFlurrys and McDonald’s are too tight to buy 2 so we can use one while ones not working
I think Nick should go in the Jungle. A man of many talents. He would be brill. Leigh could commentate on how he is doing.👍👍Sorted🤣🤣
We walked down that ramp back to haven, you can see Billy butlins white house when your walking down the ramp in the distance, good memories , when we were there, that was a beach full of small dogs, with their walkers, never seen so many dogs on a beach 🙈🙈🙈🐕🐕🐕🐕

Most of the beaches here in Washington state, are just like the one you went to today- not much around, cold in the spring and beautiful.

New business venture…….Rent-a-Nick……for all your household DIY 😂
My daughter is a shift manager at McDonald's she said every night the machine goes onto heat treat which is a cleaning cycle. On some occasions the heat treat fails so has to be put back on to the cleaning cycle in the morning which can take up to a further 12 hrs. Instead of explaining it all it is easier to just say its broke 😅.
A little tip for Nick. When cleaning little nooks and crannies, try using some Cif on a soft tooth brush. Xx
Glad I'm not the only one that loves an extendable ladder (I'll bore the pants off anyone that'll listen talking about mine 🤣).
You may have already been to Southport but if not go to Southport Market - the old market hall, done up as a food court great bar in the middle and loads of food stalls around the edge x

Would love to see more cooking videos from Nick, I made his curry last night for my very fussy family and they all loved it!
I love fish butties but the batter plays havoc with my stomach too if I have a full one . Tip ask for a lightly battered fish when they’re making it, loads lighter 😋

Nick/Leigh Try what we two sister's do! Large fish 'n' chips between us always (see Dawn Lacock for reason why, also fish affects my catheter, so we limit fish intake to once a week). Iceland do frozen battered fish fillets which are absolutely fantastic - try them and you will see.
We lost our Mum 2014 to a stroke then Dad last October following a fall the previous January just didn't have the strength to get over it. As long as you have a photographs they're never far away, just in another room, they're let you know they are near too. Just warch out for Robins, Collar Doves and feathers, these are signs that they have been visiting.

The thing with McDonald’s milkshake machines not working is true here in the US as well. There is one near here that’s right next to a theatre where I have worked a lot, and their milkshake machine never seems to be working, no matter what time of day it is.
Nick, I’ve not had fish from a chippy in a long time as it’s too fatty for my IBS. The batter holds the fat. I’m crippled if I have it.
We’ve moved to Tenerife to escape the British winter and loving missing out on the snow over there.
You do the film/TV locations, you could do The Full Monty around Sheffield. I’ve done quite a bit of it as my husband comes from Sheffield and he did the guided tour.

Are you insured for all these things that break?so you can get them replaced ,can you get like a house insurance, but the same for a lodge

Believe it or not, I've never had a fish butty from a fish and chip shop! But every time you eat one I always think how yummy they must be! I will try one one day!x
Last time we went filey, we got fish and chips and twos kids sausage meals and it cost just under £40! I nearly collapsed when he told me the price. We didn’t even get drinks with that

I have a friend that I used to sing karaoke with in Calgary he is from Liverpool England. He lives in Edmonton now.
I live in Oregon and our beaches are cold..

Pensioners fish and chips in my local is £8. Couple of years ago it was about a fiver.

Think they went the Albert dock when they went on the cruise. I go to both and enjoy the safari park and the docks.😊
