@Isabeez That was in BotW, though. In other games, Zelda doesn't really show any attraction to Link at all (OoT, Twilight Princess, etc.). In Skyward Sword, the interest she has in Link is laid out pretty plainly, in the way she acts around him. Even in BotW, they didn't have the same kinds of interactions together like they did here. Gotta say! Gab, you're Game Streaming style is super great. A lot of TH-camrs affect fake voices and and overboard charaacterizations when reading the game their playing (those who even make the effort to read all the text, which isn't all common, and so treasured when you do so), but your reading it with *feeling* but without extra-overboard fake character voices is kinda SO helpful and really really good. It avoids taking the viewer out of the feeling of the moments and the characters (as designed by the game), and speaking all of them with such effort to read it aloud with feeling...it adds feeling, without blowing the moment/feels. Just had to say, you are high effort and it really helps things SO much. You're super appreciated, Gab! :)
1:24:30 I love the fact that before you get the Adventure Pouch item from Fledge your belt is empty, then it adds the pouch to your belt when he gives it to you. I love that attention to detail!
I have been binging this game since it came out and it just hit me when you first ran into Zelda's Dad, and it is a thing apparently, he reminded me of OOT's Owl, and that was what they were going for. Mind blown.
Oh I LOVED the flying portion of this game!! My twin and I played this together - I couldn't do the combat with the Wii controls and she hated flying, so it worked out well.
1:07:42 Whenever I hear someone say they couldn't protect someone, it reminds me of the Rock Biter "They look like big, good, strong hands. Don't they? I always thought that's what they were. My little friends. The little man with his racing snail, the Nighthob, even the stupid bat. I couldn't hold on to them. The nothing pulled them right out of my hands. I failed."
I LOVED the motion controls. It made me feel awesome and I thought they were so intuitive. So now playing through it, my boyfriend will use the pro controller and when I play I use the joy cons.
A bit off topic of the video, but I really wish that they add loftwings in botw 2, or at least some flying rideable creature, as I personally dont want to have to use my paraglider to get from one floating island to the next. Though, I'd still play the game if they didn't add loftwings/some other flying creature, of course, as I love zelda games lol.
My first time playing skyward sword on the wii I had no issues with the controls and I've gone back and played and 100% every zelda game and i still firmly believe that skyward sword has the best soundtrack and story of any zelda game
Yea this game was rough on the wii, but honestly I really loved this remake, gave me a whole new appreciation for the game and honestly it might have my favorite combat system of the pre-botw era. Excited to see ya go through it
This is my favourite Zelda, though I understand that the controls were iffy at times. I loved the music, story and characters. There's one character in particular that I hated at first but they ended being awesome. Hope you enjoy it more this time round.
This is actually my favorite zelda game! Probably a more fun original experience cause I’m from the generation who was raised on the wii. So excited to see you play this!!
The soundtrack for this reminds me of the soundtrack for final fantasy X. That was my first final fantasy game I ever played and man did it have a huge impact on me emotionally, and to this day the music from that game causes all kinds of feels every time I hear it. A good soundtrack can really take a game to 11😍

I wish the legend that Fi told was altered slightly to help with the timeline of the Zelda universe. Something like "And the Hero should fail, Calamity strikes the land and all shall turn to a barren waste." I am sure the Dev Team could come up with something better but that destiny makes it very clear that Link is suppose to win so what happens if he fails?

A bit off topic of the video, but I really wish that they add loftwings in botw 2, or at least some flying rideable creature, as I personally dont want to have to use my paraglider to get from one floating island to the next. Though, I'd still play the game if they didn't add loftwings/some other flying creature, of course, as I love zelda games lol.
Their faces and expressions are so pretty. Such charming characters.
God the memories 😢 (I'm 17 now and I remember playing this every evening at 10-12 when I had no highschool and worries)
My first time playing skyward sword on the wii I had no issues with the controls and I've gone back and played and 100% every zelda game and i still firmly believe that skyward sword has the best soundtrack and story of any zelda game
"Senjuries irious!" Sounds like a magic spell! Really excited for this btw!! I love TLOZ games and your playthroughs, so this is an awesome combo! c:
Yea this game was rough on the wii, but honestly I really loved this remake, gave me a whole new appreciation for the game and honestly it might have my favorite combat system of the pre-botw era. Excited to see ya go through it
This is my favourite Zelda, though I understand that the controls were iffy at times. I loved the music, story and characters. There's one character in particular that I hated at first but they ended being awesome. Hope you enjoy it more this time round.
The wii controls werent a problem, just a mandatory difficulty setting
(But seriously, i had no problem with the controls idk why people hated them)
This is actually my favorite zelda game!
A good soundtrack can really take a game to 11😍
I love Skyloft so much, i wish there were more islands in the sky
Yes! I don't really have time for videogames right now, but I'll surely love this series!
Zelda is so cute, my heart can't cope 😭 Always been interested in the Zelda games but couldn't get into playing them myself, thank you for playing it and I can't wait to experience more of the story! The game looks beautiful ❤
Yay ! For the first time ever, I’ll be able to play a game blind alongside my favorite let’s player !! I’m so hyped ! Take your time in the recordings Gab, I still want to be ahead of you in the game so that I don’t get spoiled
Same boat bud haha. Best of luck with it.
@@michaelwatkis4261 thanks ! So you chose buttons or motion controls ? I chose motion controls thinking it’s the intended way but oh boy it’s rough
@@heycham3318 playing it handheld for the most part so just buttons for me. I'm finding just using the right stick to be fine. Probably give the motion controls a go if I can grab the TV when it's free to Dock it.
I'm really excited to see you play through SS and to pick it up myself for the first time! I never played it myself. I was in college when it first came out and when I would come home on the weekends I would watch my dad play.
Watching this for like the fifth time. This is my favorite Zelda game and love to watch this play through🥰✨🫶🏻 thanks for loving Zelda as much as me!!!
Love your enthusiasm and energy. So wholesome. Makes it such a warm cozy series to watch during winter (in Australia). You're a star ☆♡
Yeaaahhh one more super relaxing and chilled Zelda series with gab!! Love these 🥰
I've been catching up on your other Zelda playthroughs for a while, and now I'm finally on this one! SS HD really changed my opinion of the game, and I loved taking my time in this colorful, cozy world! Can't wait to see how you enjoy it through the episodes!
Yay! I love skyward sword (but I say that about every Zelda). This has one of my favorite game sections (also the most stressful). I found it to be the hardest Zelda game, though. Probably because of the Wii controls. I'm so excited! I hope you like it more this run around.
I love the castle in the sky approach to this game!
I wish the legend that Fi told was altered slightly to help with the timeline of the Zelda universe. Something like "And the Hero should fail, Calamity strikes the land and all shall turn to a barren waste."
I am sure the Dev Team could come up with something better but that destiny makes it very clear that Link is suppose to win so what happens if he fails?
This game is my childhood so this is so exciting
I waited to start this vid because I am currently playing the game for the first time and I wanted to get some progress done before watching you play. I have already finished the first temple/ dungeon, so I am so excited to watch you play!
I'm so, SO glad I found your playthrough. With Tears of the Kingdom on the horizon and there being obvious hints at Skyward Sword in the trailer, I really want to learn more about the game, so I'm going to enjoy watching this. Thank you! ♥
As someone who has played original skyward sword I can see how much smoother it is it’s less grainy and controls so much smoother
I was more of a pokemon fan than the Zelda games. Now I regret not playing the games in my childhood. Thanks for the playthrough!
YESSS ! Never played any of the games but I’m so happy I can finally know the stories of all the Legend of Zelda games !
Yay I’m so pumped you’re playing this! I just got a copy yesterday. It’s really fun to play a little on my end then I watch some of your vids and usually see what I missed…or just get a different perspective :)
I just started playing this for myself last night! Can't wait to hop back and forth between playing and watching!
Shoebill stork with a fox tail, which is not how bird tails work. The Archaeopteryx had a bony tail, but it was an exception.
YAY here we go - this game is awesome I hope you change your mind with it and have fun most important
