So sad these days are gone. It was good to see a variety of rollingstock on the Line 1 and 2 before pre TR days. I remember catching the Hawkers back in 2010 and currently in Toronto, so all single rollingstock on each line. TTC will never be the same without them
I was very lucky to have chosen that camera when I was in the market to buy one. The Sony HDR-SR12 was ahead of its time and performed well for many years. It still works, although I'd prefer to shoot in 4K now, so it really proved to be a great investment.
@@orionviii Yeah, I have zero clue as to what they were trying to achieve during that renovation. The many colours of the current Dufferin mixed with the grey just looks so off.
I prefer the G1, M1, H1, H2/3, and H4 over T1s and TRs. Wood paneling and padded seats! way better than today's hard seats and white walls! if only today's fleets could bring back what the H4s had!

Yup, this really was a fun time to be riding the subway in Toronto. I'm glad I did it with camera.
This is a very quality video considering it was recorded in a time where video cameras were just developing more.

Gotta love those classic door chimes!!
If it's not the comfortable seats then it's definitely the door chimes that are missed by most.
I hope you did get a glimps of the SRT with its old Livery
I do have some video of the RT in its old scheme, I will have to put it together some time.
Very nice!
Glad you enjoyed. There are still some H4 videos in the archive, subscribe so you don't miss when they end up on the channel.
5:09 mint chocolate dufferin, lol.
I'm sure you're not the only one to have noticed the original appearance of Dufferin. I don't think the new tiles are nearly as nice.

Those trains are 50 years old now dang how old.
Do you miss em it's maximum lifespan
@@Nvideofilmsproductions i miss them. Their chimes are beautiful.
The door close chime sounds like the RT
Back then, all the door chimes sounded like this one.
wait these were still around till last year? I didn't know they were retired so recent wish they were still around
While I uploaded this last year, the video was recorded in December 2011.
Do you have anymore footage of the ttc subway from the 2010s?

The padded seats made for so many comfortable rides.

I wonder where those HS Canada car plaques are now?
they are all scrapped after rejection from Nigeria for their ekorail projects
The majority of the H4 fleet is scrapped with a few cars remaining in the subway in work car service.
This footage taken in 2011 right?
Correct, this was December 2011.
@@orionviii a few weeks before retirement because of Toronto Rocket
how you can ride H4 in 2022? isn't it already retired?
You can ride one in 2024 just by watching this video again!
What color doors is on H4
H4 doors are cream in colour.
au that sounded gross@@orionviii
Were these trains ran line 1
Line 2.
they did not make it to the Museums or even made it to Nigeria for their next assignment
