Like, say you had ears that follow facial expression, but you want to have different types of animal ears. All you would need to do is change the texture, but how would you make it so the textures still applied to the same bits of code?
At 12:45, instead of going through all these steps, just duplicate the scale 2d node and set the value to the original number (1:00). Then connect the set to the End:exec from the transit by time node.

You can enable and disable any object with Set Visibility on/off
