"Thomas Flare?" That name sticks in my head. I've been around long enough to remember when the sports broadcasters made a big deal about it on the pommel horse, then went crazy about someone able to do it later on a floor routine. Now, it seems like you are all expected to pull it off. The advancements in the sport never fail to amaze me. It's why I enjoy your shorts so much. You and your teammates appear to effortlessly string together numerous moves which I can remember being premiered in competitions as a big step forward as a marquee move at that event.
Wow, can you tell me what's the difference between flare and thomas flare? Because for some reason, in Japanese they say thomas to mean flare and I find that interesting
Also want to add that most Break dancers learn these moves in the street. In concrete floors that can be fatal when injured. They are literally built differently.

Technically he did it from a cart setup which is easier than doing it from round off or back handspring. Ian can more than likely pull off a dub on concrete, it’s really all just mental.
You got to get into a handstand from flare then hop over to make it easy to catch. Since you're attempting it from just a regular flare position it was actually an air track not an air flare.
he already had flare so a single round will be a litter easy for him. Multiple airflares is where it gets hard, I had flare and can do a single airflare to flare but its been 3 years and I can still barely do 3 continous airflares
I think some of it is physics. It seems like you were trying to muscle all the way through the moves, but the breakdancers use the momentum from the previous moves to get the correct spin and speed. But since I'm neither a gymnast nor a breakdancer, I could be totally wrong!
That's only because I feel like gymnastics is very strict and automatically people treat stop that is not strict as not as good. Like they both require good upper body strength.
