- Thank you for patiently waiting as I recovered from surgery. I am feeling really great! I have been able to move around which I wouldn't be able to do by now if it wasn't for my family and friends helping during the first 2 weeks and letting me rest as much as I needed. Now I'm back on motherly duties. Time to play catch up on laundry!
I hope you all had a great Christmas and got all you wanted. I got not 1, but 2 Dutch ovens as gifts! I've wanted a Dutch oven for the past 5 years and haven't gotten one, so my sister in law got me one for our sibling exchange and my mom got me one because she knew how badly I wanted one. I ended up keeping both! The one my mom got is pink and matches my kitchen set. my SIL got me a full cast iron one that I will be using for emergencies (when the power goes out and we have to cook over the fire) I am very excited and I love both!
