You seem like a lovely young man. Never stop setting goals for yourself. I suffered from terrible depression most of my life and thought my dreams were impossible. I literally went to bed one night and woke up and realised I’d achieved dreams I thought impossible. I took swimming lessons at 42 years old and as soon as I learnt to swim I did my teaching qualification. I’m now teaching children and coaching adults. You’re never too old! As for living off grid, that’s my next goal! I have a disabled son so it won’t be easy but I’ve been saving and researching and hope one day I’ll accomplish that dream too! Never give up my friend. God bless your little brother.
The Natural world is my passion, spending time camping out in Nature is amazing, society is messed up too much Ego, competition and showing off by people constantly
You seem to be a great person. Great painting. You should develop that interest. I used to sell painting on galleries and exhibitions. sorry for my english spelling. i am a bit drunk now. Never fear to show your weakness or inner thoughts. Everyone is fighting inner demons and people are so afraid to share. We want to show that we are perfect to not scare away others but i´m sure that the most people have something that we hide. No one is perfect. Focus on your goals, goals can change over the years. Interests can change. Rent a van and travel for a while. It´s hard to build a family if you are on the road to freedom:) Myself love to have my safe spot. My castle where i feel safe. You are still young. I just turned 50 but everyone think i´m 40 haha. Wish i could rewind time and redo things. For me it´s too late. Wish you all the best. Don´t give up
if you want to do something, just go into it with the mindset of, as long as you try it as an experiment it's a win, because even if you don't like it you won't have the regret of not doing it, and then just make it happen. So even if you're just doing it to try it and you don't want to continue with it forever you've won in the sense that now you know what you do and don't like.
That is the best thing about not having many friends , you can do as you like and no fake friends can judge you, , Enjoy the Vision you see in front of you, Remember this life is not about standing with the Majority its about escaping the ranks of the insane ,
Each day manifest your goals. One day it will happen. Just keep believing in yourself. Keep being positive. Just remember everyone is going through something in life your not alone . You are really brave for making these videos. Alot of people with mental health will smile because you are relatable and genuine. Just keep prioritising your goals and your dreams. People really appreciate your honesty . Keep up the good work ❤
Mate I'm only 30 and I seen your video from the other day and if you see this comment here's some advice that helped me at 26. 1. Get to the gym for an hour every day. ( most important I promise you mate) 2. Cut out the shit food. 3. Don't expect anything from anyone and you'll never be disappointed , your on your own in this world and only you can change your circumstances. 4. Don't be afraid to change or take a risk on your circumstances. Take a leap of faith, be bold. 5. Accept who you are mate, I'm not perfect your not perfect. Find some peace in your heart. 6. You dont have to be religious but read the bible ( Ethiopian bible). 7. God put you here pal, he sent you the hard path. That's because you can handle it, it's meant to be a test of courage. You will come out the other side a bigger and better man. Have faith. All the best from a reformed addict and drug dealer. I wish you the best in your endeavours and be a man. Don't give up, dig deep. Don't take shit from anyone but always help others that need it. Don't expect anything back because you've already gained from the universe. All the best mate. 👍
Bro! That painting is striking!!! I'm not just saying that to make you feel good I genuinely love it my brother. Just how things are positioned looks very good, and the colors are very good as well. Extremely impressive man. If you ever do "merch" just sell unique paintings I'm sure there are plenty who will buy man.
There is always a way, you just have to find it. One thing at a time, one step at a time. Maybe coach children or help out at kids matches first, then start to look for a van. Slow and baby steps is the way to go, and you'll achieve whatever you want to in life, and more. I travelled for 4 years, wild camping, selling my paintings along the way to fund my lifestyle and pay the bills.......all the best. Great painting btw.
First of all, fantastic painting. Very Bob Ross. Can I make a suggestion. Before you go all in and commiting to the vanlife lifestyle. Why not hire a van for a few days a few times first just to get a feel for it.
Vanlife is amazing. I had a 20r break from being nomadic, played the game had a big business & the usual lads toys, jacked it all in to travel again. I go where I want when I want, no stress I barely know what day it let alone what the time is anymore. Live for today, worrying about tomorrow is the cause of anxiety. You can work through agencies doing what you do as you travel 🎉
@@stuartmclean3843 Vanlife isn’t expensive at all mate it is freedom your bills are minimal your home no matter where you are located other people at some point will always need to go home ! You can stay where your happy for as long as you choose Building the van is easy you will enjoy it will definitely give you a new goal to aim for living out of a van is easy no different from living in a house except freedom & the people you meet on the road is unbelievable I would say it’s easier to meet new friends in Vanlife then in “normal” life My tip would be buy a older van without all the modern technology headaches enjoy building your home not working to rent just to sleep in it this is a nasty loophole to keep you in the rat race
Ten years ago I wanted to live face down in a ditch because I felt so lonely and depressed. The problem I found was how I was thinking about things and my attitude towards the world around me. It's so important to find who you are by being surrounded by good people and flushing out the negative and unhelpful people.
I think you have suffered a great loss and experienced grief that other people your age can not imagine . You definitely got your head on your shoulders and you have a great perspective on life . There is a charity called ‘ Make a wish ‘ maybe you could work for a charity. Get yourself to Asia and do some backpacking
Hi I like your painting. Keep that up. I painted alot in my teens and twenties. I tried selling my artwork. But it didn't pan out how I wanted. Keep your goals . And work towards achieving them. Your brother is with you in spirit. You might feel a presence of someone with you at times. It's your brother checking in with you.
I'd really like to buy a camper van and drop out of this mundane existence. I'm depressed all the time. 40°C It's not even close to that in Manchester.
Alright mate you seem like a top lad, if I could give you any advice it would be too strive to make your brother proud, push yourself and do it for him, make him proud and steam through life’s challenges head on! It’s a tragic event what happened but you can use it as motivation to succeed and do your bloodline proud, good luck and god speed!
Well done, that you set your goals. Helping others gives also life a new perspective. Bear in the mind, that not everyone is (materially) as happy as you are, so if you decide to do something for better lives of others, you get rewarded for that too. Many ways, how to help out to others. Just, if putting an item in a supermarket to a charity box for those in need, is the easiest way, but there are much more. I can tell you from my own experience, that any way of reasonable help gives more, than you can think back to you. We need to find the right things, what fulfil us in our life, you will feel much better yourself. Starting doing such things will prevent you from as we say 'crying over the spilt milk'.
From my opinion I think you should see a therapist you made a video 13 hours ago saying you hate your life now this . I think you're mentally unwell. Having very high and low mood swings it seems. Think you've have under lying issues you maybe need to address talking therapy could help. Wish you all the best.
Thanks for sharing your dreams. They all sound really positive and will make a huge difference to others. I have done so work with "Make a Wish Foundation". They make children's dreams become real for them and their family twds the end. It's heartbreaking but rewarding. Maybe you could look into getting a DBS certificate to work with kids, or kids with disabilities. Help run a junior football team or something. Your heart is in the right place, so doors will open for you. Would you want to stay put in one place in the UK in the van, travel the UK in the van or do van life somewhere like the USA. Do the maths to find out roughly how much you would need to cover an experience like that. It sounds incredible. In the UK with all this weather it could be a different experience maybe? Your art work is incredible by the way. Super talented. I never did anything with my art but it's a real gift. Exciting goals. Take care
Would you train to be a lorry driver? Time on your own and going all over, good money and when you’ve saved enough buy a van and do food delivery up and down the country. Good luck with whatever you do
Hello. Actually I thought about that. It would be a more free life. Could move anywhere you wanted instead of being trapped in one place all the time. Also less bills to pay.
There's alot that people overlook though. Like the fact that everything you own you carry with you. You can't necessarily just lock up your house and go to Thailand for two months and expect everything to still be there, unless your parents have space in their garage or garden or something. Then there's the thing of simple everyday tasks like showering and using the toiler becoming time consuming and problematic... so there are down sides definitely. Me personally, I'd rather aim to work online or make money online. That way I am completely free and just need to take my laptop with me and have access to Internet (this is my life btw lol)

You keep talking about what you would like to do but not doing it , I understand that I’m 55 and my wife would sell up Tomorrow but I am in charge of the money so I am always more pragmatic which holds me back. My job is well paid and holds me back even though I hate it and I have two boys in their 20s I have to look after , only one could afford to live on his own but he feels women are nuts and untrustworthy so won’t leave home or even buy a home he can afford . The second is lost and won’t even try to make a life for himself so if I upped sticks he would have to come with us. Family is all I live for and my boys are my world but hold me back but that’s being a dad so I don’t give a shit .
