- DIY Tutorial Macrame Shelf for Beginners
The Material:
* Wooden stick D2 40cm
* Wooden board 3pc size 15x35cm
* Wooden beads 24pc size 2cm hole 1cm
* Cotton cord Size 4mm Type 3ply twist
Cut 8pc @700cm

Other equipment:
Scissor
Using Macrame Basic Knot:
Square Knot
The distance from the dowel to the first shelf is about 25cm pay attention that the front and the back are about 2-3cm different (the back is shorter because you have to stick it on the wall, so the front is longer) you should make it on the wall so you can get the perfect balance size.
The distance between the first shelf and the second shelf is about 30cm .

it literally shows in the video that it’s hung up by a nail what do u mean
Maybe your hardware store'll drill holes for you; alternatively, you can simply wrap and tie the chords around the wood.

Are the measurements listed just one side? Should we double it then? Be nice to know.
It definitely looks like those measurements are for one side only. So, we need a total of 16 lengths of 700 cm of cord.
How long is the finished shelf? I want to make one similar and am trying to figure out how much cord I need.

She means that u have to cut eight cords of length 700 cms. It means seven metres.
7metres ke eight cords cut karo.
