I call that the ego getting you coming and the ego getting you going.
Either you build yourself up or tear yourself down.
The key is to understand that neither is real but a game the ego uses to keep itself alive and in business.
Once you are aware of this, the game is essentially over because you systematically stop playing the game as there is awareness of the pattern.

Exactly! I know that I’m not the best at anything even if I’m pretty good at it. I know that there are many people who are better than me even if I am good at something. I accept that and have no problem with that. I can only do my best and try to learn and grow and become better at something as well as becoming a person.
